Starting on July 12- July 21 | JUST GIVE ME 10 DAYS, we will begin Round 10! Lets see what more we can do as we reach a total of 100 days consecutively!
Anyone else game?
Weighing yourself everyday? Controversial you may say? Well for me personally, checking the scale can be motivating. I read in a study of 3,500 people who maintained 60 or more pounds of weight loss for at least a year, researchers from the National Weight Control Registry found that 44 percent weighed themselves every day. Another study in the American Journal of Preventive Medicine found that overweight people are six times more likely to lose weight if they weigh themselves at least once a day. I don't about you, but it helps me and motivates me to keep going or to tweak what I did the day before. I never weigh more than just once in the morning. Our weight fluctuates constantly throughout the day with what we drink and consume, so only make it a 'once a day' rule for sanity sake. ~Hillcrestbaby

Round 9 was a big mess for me! Hopefully my third round will be better!! I will probably spend this round getting back down to the weight I was after Round 8/My Round 1 was over! One day at a time, like the commenter above me
My goals for this round are to try to walk at least 30 minutes a day all together, and limit my liquid intake to just water.

Hi. I didn't do the other rounds, and have been away from logging for a while, but I'd like to join this round. Need to motivate myself to be accountable. I'm in menopause, and just found out my glucose is slightly elevated; I am determined to fight my family history of diabetes and heart problems.

Weight bounces around so I need a way to see the trends on successive 10-day challenges, so am choosing to look at the mid-point between the high and low of the challenge.
Round 8/1: HW 274 LW 269.8 MidW = 271.9
Round 9/2: HW 269.4 LW 266.8 MidW=268.1
I sense two major challenges for this 10-day period. One is maintaining discipline over logging and calories. Cheating the diary just prolongs the process! The other is changing my cooking habits so I am making not just lower calorie supper but less of it. I am still cooking as if I am eating for two.

Last round was rough for me. Going to tighten up my logging, water consumption, and make sure I'm getting enough sleep. 164.0 is aggressive, but I got down to 165.2 at one point last round so I really want to get out of this 166-167 lb range I seem to be stuck in.1 -
