    I need help folks. I need help seeing it!! This is not a before and after but a during and during. The right side is 21 lbs down and the left is 46 lbs down. I feel that much weight lost should have a bigger impact. I don't feel or see that I have lost the equivalent of an average 6 year old!!
    Edited to add: just realized the difference been photos only shows a 25lb loss, that makes me feel better.

    Hello everyone! Nice to see more members with a significant amount to lose. I have just gotten back on fitness pal and honestly I am feeling pretty overwhelmed with the amount of weight I have to lose. Since it is Friday, I am planning to just do some exercise on the elliptical since I have a lot of things to prepare for a family wedding tomorrow.

    @jam5660 great job! You are doing wonderful and YES it definitely shows! It is hard for us to see it on our own bodies, but believe me it shows. Keep up the good work.

    @jam-- you are doing great! I can totally see a difference in the first set even if it's "only" a 25 lb difference.

    You are doing great!! You don't see much of a difference but believe it is there. Wonderful job you!
    We are our own worst critic. Try to focus more on continuing down the healthy path and everything else will follow. Give it time. :)

    Well sorry I missed last week, I was on my way to work Thurs 7/27 and planned to post my figures then, but then I WRECKED MY NEW CAR AGAIN, 2nd wreck in 2 months! I'm fine but the car is a mess! Thank God for great insurance - if you are eligible for USAA and don't have it, I highly recommend them, they are the BEST! Anyway, considering it was my birthday Mon 7/31, I think I have done pretty good not gaining anything. I'll take a .3 lb loss any day over a gain.

    Hi All!!

    I finally got a new scale so can weight myself!

    I just did to test the scale. I usually weight myself 1st thing in the morning, but could not wait until tomorrow to see if this thing works so even though just had brunch, I am fully clothed and it's the middle of the day I will just use the figure for this week's entry (gives me the hope that maybe I loss a bit more ;) )

    I am so far behind with weight loss for this challenge ... fingers crossed I will be able to catch up!

    So for my additional goals ... I have been drinking plenty of water which I am happy about and walking I think most days my 10K steps; but have not been able to workout yet and neither have been able to mantain my calorie level at 1200, but for the last 3 days I have reduced carbs yay!

    I would love to see my weight loss go faster, but as long as it's moving in the right direction I will take it!

    I had a very challenging week. I am very surprised I had a loss. I indulged most of the week and didn't hit my goal for the gym. However, I did make sure to drink a ton of water. I am back on track this week!!

    This has been a tough week. Spent too much time in the car, thus not enough steps, water, and too many food decisions on the go. Plus a on going headache that led to the blahs when I was home. But it's a new day, a new challange week, and a new month. Sounds like a good reset button to me.
