Here I am again!
SW - 3/20/17 - 182.4lbs
GW - Want to get to 150 and then maintain for a while to work on fitness instead of weightloss, I expect I will probably drop a few more lbs as I figure out where my calories need to be to maintain...but I'm cool with that I think 140 may be my ultimate goal but I want to take the last 10 slowly.
8/10 - Coming in from round 12 - 154.8

8/11 - 151.8 - SUPER WHOOSH...all the weight and then a bit extra is off from my vacation de-railment. I was up almost every hour to pee last night lol...so I was obviously releasing everything my cells were retaining. I'm within 2 lbs of my original goal weight. I'm going to add a snack to my meal planning this week to slow things down a bit. Picked up my kettlebells for the first time in over a week this morning so I expect to be sore tomorrow.
8/12 - 151.4 - right direction! Cleared out all the size 12's and Larges from my closet...AND...bought two pairs of size 8 capri pants from the summer clearance rack yesterday!!!! BIG NSV!!
8/13 - 152.2 - just a blip. Ate around maintenance cals yesterday...mabe a smidge more...but not enough to gain a lb of fat. Probably bloat from the beers my bod isn't used to having. A long bike ride is in the plans for today...going to burn it off.
8/14 - 154 - Sodium and sore muscles. More water, mindful eating and light activity today...and a trip to the chiropractor...

Mostly I'm hoping to overall maintain this 10 days. The last day of the 10 is over a weekend and my weight is always higher then. May be some motivation to keep myself under control.

SW: 249 (March 2017); CW: 232.4 (although my official weigh in on Monday was 231.8); GW: no idea yet but for this round I'd say 230.

8/12 -232.6 - up just a touch, but took mom out to dinner last night so probably a bit of a sodium bomb; starting a 5k training program this morning and pushing water
8/13 - 232.4 - forgot to post this yesterday. Moving back down.
8/14 - 232.0 - moving in the right direction! This week I need to focus on my water intake. I've also started some running training intervals, so that may be causing me to retain a little water as its more intense than my usual walking. Hoping water and having a better week calorie-wise (I was over two days last week) will get me back where I want to be.

Im in. This is just my second round. Now that I have gotten in the habit of weighing myself ready to really start making progress.

8/11 200.8 lbs Went to the gym yesterday at 5am (UGH) but it seemed to help. See if I can keep up with that one.

8/13 200.0 ALMOST out of the 200's. So so close.
8/14 201.0 Really really disappointed. Hit the gym yesterday for an hour and a half and a four mile walk last night. Was within my calorie intake too. Sodium intake was a little high so I am going to try and keep that down, but come on! Going to keep at it but so frustrating.

Starting to get disheartened, but need to keep at it. Other things are improving, such as sleep and mood, so I know I'm going in the right direction.
It can be slow but if you keep logging your food, getting some exercise in, you will lose. Can you look over the last few days and see if there is something you could have done different? Are you just at a plateau? My doc told me that if I just ate 250 calories a day less I'd lose 1# every 2 weeks. Doesn't sound like much but it ends up to be 26# in a year. That's just 250 less.

8/11 346.0 Very happy with this, haven't seen this number since May of last year.
8/12 348.2 Went to a buffet yesterday evening and didn't even try to be mindful. I did some early morning cardio today and have light meals planned.
8/13 345.8 I did much better yesterday and will stick to light meals again today.

8/11 263.2 -- "Retrieved" two pounds from a day off logging and a trip to Little Pigs barbecue buffet. Back to the new normal today. May slide up a bit more tomorrow because of water but I know what to do. CICO!!
8/12 262.6 -- Getting rid of the two pounds from the trip to the barbecue. Logged and stayed under calories yesterday like it is the new normal! It is ... the new normal, that is.
8/13 261.6 -- Almost back to the LW of round 12. It's onward!
8/14 262.0 -- Made the mistake of getting on the scale in my nightie. Now it won't recognize that I weigh less in the buff. Damned scale decides that it's going to tell me I weigh that day and once it decides on a number, it won't change it. Obstinate little thing! Oh, well, I know I ate right and the number is not what's important -- at least that's what I'm telling myself. Harrumph!

I know that feeling, but if you hit the gym hard your muscles could be retaining water for repair, don't fret you'll be outta the 200s before you know it!!3 -

These calories are hardly enough to warrant a 2.5 pound gain. Let's look at it from a different perspective. Did you go over your daily calorie allotment. Example, if you are on 1500 calories a day did you do 2102? What is your maintenance?
Chances are you didn't go much over maintenance... probably only 4 or 5 hundred calories and that would be about a 2-3 ounce gain. I suspect what you went over on is the sodium and carbs which hold onto water like it's a sacred commodity. Try to get your 8 cups of water today and tomorrow and see where that gets you. Be good to yourself.5 -

8/12. 205.8 and still feeling fab. Worried as I'm going to a wedding today. Food will be fine, drinks will not!
8/13 207.2 Feeling ROUGH. Ridiculously fun night and worth it.
8/14 207.2 Feeling determined! Going to get rid of the water weight from the weekend from booze and salty food. Looking forward to seeing the scale tomorrow

Weekends are hard. When I do go over on the weekends I just try to cut back a little on the following week. 100 calories less a day this week would make up for your overage.

11/8 - 196.8 - I expected this ^^^ that was a big drop ^^^ possible dehydrated -- THIS is still a drop from the day before! sore muscles, cals are low by average, Rest day drank my 2L water
12/8 - 198.8 - strained a muscle, in my shoulder and calf, so I am assuming this is water retention just NO HIGHER
13/8 - 198 - muscles feeling a bit better, calf completely pain free today, shoulder still niggling 25 miles NO water

I'd like to lose 2 more pounds this round.
8/11: 171.4 Yesterday was a food day. A "gourmet" doughnut and latte for breakfast and a company picnic (did pretty well; kept it light). Had a good step day: 16,000!
8/12: 171.4 Holding steady. Boy, I really wanted wine last night. And dessert. Lots of it. It seems to be my Friday tradition. By 5pm, though, I had only drank about 16 oz. of water, so had some catching up to do. I stuck with water. On a Friday night. Steps were also low (busy day at work yesterday) so spent the evening walking the dog and did some elliptical.
8/13: 170.5 Active day yesterday cleaning up, running errands and getting to the Y to run on the treadmill again. Have found a replacement for alcohol right now: the little cans of flavored Perrier. Throw in some ice and lime and they are refreshing!
8/14: 170.5 Day off from work today. Kids go back to school tomorrow. Back into the routine!
