Hi guys!
I jave just joined today but hope to catch you! Today was my test day and I did 1 min classic plank without any problem. Thanks a lot to motivate me!

Snap. Same here. 2x30 seconds for 2 days. But today I had a severe cramp after second set.
Keep at it and don't give up. I was doing these challenges consistently and stopped more than a month ago. Right back at it now and can do a one minute plank right off the bat. Just don't give up! 2 X 30 secs will get you there!!

I build in about 4 slacker days lol. Generally I'd do planks 5 days a week to get to my goal, but on Saturdays I have taken up running a 5k then walking a 5k right afterward the last six weeks in a row. It takes all of my energy and there just isn't any left for planking lol. Sundays I tend to be sore from it so I just walk about 7-10k as fast as my body will let me then I do my best to do my planks that day. Occasionally I'll do my normal workout on Sundays with planks, but it just depends on how hard I beat myself up on Saturday lol.
I do my planking at the end of my usual workout so that I don't tire out my core before I get everything else done. My usual planking workout is more than planks though, it goes something like this:
150 wipers (lay on your back, raise your feet and bring your knees up and swing your legs from right to left, left to right)
30 crunches
30 left side crunches
30 right side crunches
4 minutes of mixed planks (start with 1 minute forearm, then do 3 minutes of side planks split into 30 seconds per side non-stop)
1 minute of stretching my neck (I have a tendency to get pinched nerves in my neck, this helps to do daily)
4 minutes more of the same mixed planks
50 wipers again
30 crunches
30 left side crunches
30 right side crunches
2 minutes of mixed planks (30 secs forearm, 30 seconds left side, 30 seconds right side, 30 seconds straight arm plank but add in as many pushups as I can do in that last 30 seconds)
It sounds like a lot, but you're working the hell out of your core but alternating muscle groups. It's very do-able, and as any of you progress with planks I suggest you start working some other stuff in. It'll take your core to the next level.
I also discovered something along the way. At first I was trying to do planks longer and longer then discovered that if you concentrate on keeping your core tight while planking you can get a better workout in a shorter amount of time (or at least shorter times per position). At first it was all about holding the position as long as possible, but I found myself not holding the poses perfectly, sagging toward the end of them, etc. Switching to mixed planks with shorter periods of time in each position, then switching from one position to another I got a better workout than just staying in one position for 4-5 minutes at a time. Try starting with a forearm plank, switch to a side plank, then to the opposite side, you'll find it's easier to do a 'mixed' plank this way and increase your times. Make sure to keep your core engaged the whole time.
