That way lies madness. Too much day to day fluxuation. Once a week is generally good for keeping an eye on progress.

I weigh everyday and weekly. I do it every day (which is nerve wrecking as it fluctuates ) because it helps to keep me from overeating. If I didn't I'd always cheat and keep putting off getting serious about my weight. Short term goals.
I do it weekly so that I can get a better view of actual weight loss/gain after a month. Medium term.
I also am in a 40 lb weight loss group to achieve by 31st Dec so that acts as my long term goal.
If your daily weighing affects your mood for the day, then don't do it or learn to accept that the figure is going to change every day and look for other ways to combat the negative thoughts - are your clothes feeling looser - are you feeling lighter/stronger as you go about your day etc. I am at this point now. While I would like to see it constantly move downward, I remind myself that it took a while to put on so it's going to take a while to come off.

Bottom line - see what works for you.

@Akijade @MissMaggieMuffin @shallid1 thanks so much for the input! I used to be a daily weigher for years, but I became super obsessive. I think I am going to try weighing every other day and recording weekly as suggested. I know I am losing inches because I dropped a pant size this past month when I focused solely on exercise (and gained 0.8!), so I am not freaking out too much, but I do want to see some movement on the scale this month. I'm very short, so there is no way I am bottoming out at 153. I may get to the body comp I want at higher than my ultimate goal range, but that ain't happening here. Thanks again!

You would do better to check progress by measuring your neck. Waist. Upper arm. And thigh with a fabric tape measure. You will see results better than to step on a scale that often.
I weigh every other week if I can help it.
