    7:00 PM TUE Sunny 69° 69° 0% 45% N 8 mph

This evening looks to be pleasant for running :) I've been doing 1 mile walk, 1 mile run, 1 mile walk, but I think I'll increase the running to 1.5 now and drop the walking to 1.5 and see how that goes.

    @midwesterner85 I hope the ankle isn't a big problem.

@WandaVaughn I hear ya on the Mondayest Tuesday ;)

I got up and got in 2.5mi before the sun came up this morning. I don't typically like mornings, but it has been hot and humid lately and if I start once the sun is up it is miserable. Plus I have twin boys to get ready and to school in the mornings. I tried (tried being the best word I can think of at the moment) to put in a little bit of extra mileage on Sunday. The kids wanted to go to the park so I had to wait on the whole family to get ready. What I thought I was running was a loop and what I ended up running was a out and back that ended up being 4 miles. Well, the total trail is 2.75 each side. I realized I was not on the loop at 1.75 miles into the run. LOL. I did walk some because it really was so very hot. And when I got back, everyone was in the truck because Sean got stung by a wasp. And then I got stung yesterday when doing yard work. Man, that hurt. Got it right on my hand. I still feels like someone took a hammer to the back of my hand and I can't make a fist. We finished off our long weekend playing laser tag with the boys. That was blast (unintentional joke.) We are supposed to be getting a cold front tonight, so hopefully the temps will go back down. 73 degrees at 530 is still a little warm.

I finally got through the last 5 pages this morning after being busy this weekend and not catching up. I love that we have so many awesome people here.

@skippygirlsmom pace on the downhills was >9:00, so not super fast. I don't know why I was holding back, I know I can hit sub-6 pace on the hills.

@klovold1983 awesome! I'm about 50 miles from you, almost due north.

Traveling for work this week. Been at it since 4AM. It's now 5PM and I just arrived at my hotel. Lots of stressful crap happened in those thirteen hours so I am really going to have to talk myself into this run rather than taking a nap. I just had two days rest after my night race on Saturday, so I know I need to do it. I am in a beautiful mountainous part of Virginia but it is raining so I might just be lazy and Hit the treadmill. Ugh...

I'm not sure what to set my September goal at. I think I'll try and do as much as I can without stressing over whether I'll reach my target. All 3.50k walks are to/from work to my car. The carpark I used to use has increased the charges by £15 to £50 a month. I think I'd rather walk the extra 5 mins although I may regret that when it's cold, wet and dark.

    1 Sept 2.85km run 3.50k walk
    2 Sept NONE
    3 Sept 5k
4 Sept no run but 3.50k walk
5 Sept PT session and 3.50k walk = 18.85k to date

    9/1 13.1 miles! 2h:09m:49s
    9/2 3.1mi 31m:56s
    9/3 rest
    9/4 4.38mi 41m:07s
    9/5 6mi 57m:38s

Now that my kids are back in school my running schedule is shifted. No more early morning runs. Now I'm running after I drop the kids at school. I know it'll be good once the weather is cooler, but it felt quite warm at 8:30am.

4 miles tomorrow, my first week of running 6 days... normally Wednesday is a rest day. It might end up being on the treadmill since the forecast is thunderstorms.
