This is the result of another church function! Had an appreciation dinner after church - pulled pork, baked beans, potato salad, cole slaw, chips, cake, cookies! Drank water and didn't eat any bread, but went home and ate green beans with potatoes seasoned with salt pork! Went waaaay over on calories and salt! I've got 4 days to get this right!9 -

9/20 - 223.8 - still moving in the right direction; finally got to the gym last night; hoping to be as consistent as possible with that over these 10 days as I've been taking a lot of breaks for various reasons beyond my control (and it was HARD last night)
9/21- 224.6 - not surprised. Yesterday was my birthday and we had a big sushi dinner and I had an extra piece of cake. Plus I only ran two miles instead of three as my birthday present to myself. SO got me a ukulele which I am THRILLED about! Lots of water today to counteract the sodium from the sushi/soy sauce.
9/22 - 224.6 - holding steady. Can't seem to bring myself back up to 3 miles. Feeling a little down. Water wasn't great yesterday but going to try to do better today.
9/23 - 223.4 - I like it but I don't know that I trust it. We'll see.
9/24 - 224.4 - I've been taking a break this weekend. Just mentally overwhelmed and practicing some self care. So this isn't surprising. Hopefully back at it tomorrow.

8/27 147.6 ~ (Steps 18,495 Miles 7.36) ~ Today's my sons birthday......Yesterday I was able to get a nice morning walk in plus hit the gym in the evening since it was too hot outside. I had to push myself to hit the gym, it did pay off in the scale, yay! Another pound off, I'm trying to lose the 5 pounds I gained from vacation,
8/28 148.8 ~ Yesterday, since I didn't get ANY exercise in plus my sodium was high, I have a gain. I didn't over eat though so my gain is only a pound. Yesterday's, was a success in my books!
8/29 148.3 ~ (Steps18,169) Miles 7 ~ I was hungry the whole day but was able to stick to my dairy, keeping my sodium low. I decided to try getting a workout before getting breakfast. Last night I had to alter my menu since my husband got off late from work. On the plus side a couple workouts during the day helped.
8/30 147.9 ~ (Steps 19,101 Miles 7.7) ~ Yesterday went well with goals, I was able to get a couple workouts at the gym. I switching up though, having my protein drink after my first workout. I need to focus on more fruits for snacks, after vacation, I'm having trouble incorporating them into my diet.

8/31 146.4 ~ (Steps 28,910 Miles 7.75) ~ Yesterday I was able to get a couple workouts in plus a morning run.... My vacation weight is starting to drop off, only a couple more pounds..... Consistency to no late night snacking is the key
9/01 147.9 ~ (Steps 20,039 Miles 8 miles) ~ I don't understand the gain, I was able to get a nice workout last night plus my sodium wasn't to high. I also ate under my calories allowed so I'm really disappointed with the gain. I did have some watermelon last night but that shouldn't matter.
9/02 148 ~ (Steps 15,232 Miles 6) ~ We went to the Spring fair so my diet wasn't like it usually is, I was able to stay under my calorie goal, making smart choice. I also got a workout after the fair.
9/03 148.5....147.9 ~ (Steps 17,547 Miles 7) ~ Again with the gain, doing everything right, I log everything, stay within my goal, sodium is low, get my water in. I'm going to try dropping my intake to see how that works!

I came down with a nasty sinus infection night before last. I always lose weight when I am sick (see R15 average weight above). I have been drinking a ton of water and expelled at least a pound of snot. Plus, no appetite, but I'm trying anyway. Hopefully something good will come of this and I won't gain all the weight back. But it's always doubtful with such an extreme loss, which is why I'm trying not to lose so much. -_-

9/20 : I weighed in at 180 and really want to reach the 70s! Hoping to get a workout after work! I made all my meals for today so no eating out.
9/21: 181. Yikes!! lol I'm not sure why? I was under calories but didn't hit my water goal so maybe that's why? Still comited and doing strong! The 70s will be mine!!!!
9/22 179.4. Yayy!!!! I'm going to keep it going so I stay in the 70s. I had a great day yesterday! All my meals planned, a nice workout, increased my water intake and eight hours of sleep! I wonder how much I'd weigh if everyday was like that? Doing the same today! Feeling determined!

9/24 179.0. I'm okay with this number. My weigh in was wayyyy earlier then normal since I had to be at work at 5:30am!! I also had an emotional day yesterday which lead to my workout being before I went to sleep rather then earlier in the day! I was still under my calorie goal which is great but I was no where near the 8 hours of sleep so I feel sluggish today. Hopefully I can make it through work without any issues.
9/25 179.6 so yesterday was not a good day for me. I was over on calories started TOM and just gave into a lot of cravings. Worried about today as well as I am eating out with my mother and her choices in restaurants aren't always health friendly. 9/23 - 191.8 This is a totally good number. Let's see the number tomorrow. I just ate lunch at Panera with some girlfriends and had a lovely time. Counted everything, but I have no idea how much sodium is in the food. I seem to be sodium sensitive in relation to fluid retention.
9/24 - 191.6 Office day yesterday with a nice lunch break. Had a lovely T-bone last night and I limited myself to only 4 ounces. Gave the dog my fat trim. Now I have lots of delicious leftovers available. back in the office today. No days off this week for me.

9/20 - 160.7 I tried Chefs Plate for the first time last night (promo rate) had Chicken Romanesco Bucatini. It was a lot of calories 870!! It was tasty and large I planned for it AND I lost some lbs.... Hmmm. Hit just over my step goal. I think I need to walk before dinner instead of after as it is getting darker and colder out!! Looking for some 5's now.
9/21 - 159.7 Here comes those 5's. Walked 12,400 steps, hit calorie goal. Still need to figure out an evening workout plan. Hope these 5's stick around for awhile.
9/22 - 160.4 Looks like 5's are a fighter. 13,982 steps hit calorie goal was under near the end of the night and had some protein, maybe I miss calculated. Or its just a bounce!! Happy Friday everyone. No real weekend plans yet I'm hoping the weather holds can have a nice walk and clean the house some!!

9/25 - 158.8 Think my fitbit is broken. My unit said I was in the high teens when I last looked at it and my app now says just over 10 WTH?? Had a Whole Foods salad for dinner and estimated the calories at 700+ but last night I was so hungry had half bag of Lara balls and some chicken. I think I over estimated the salad.
ETA: Fitbit App just updated and it now says 19,874... Thats good don't feel so bad about the Lara balls.

Number of perfect days in challenge: 5 (Had three perfect days before the start the challenge.)
To make it a perfect day for me:
1. Exercise. Got to get at least 20 minutes
2. Log my food. Doesn't have to be <daily MFP calorie goal. But I need to log it!
3. No Sugary Foods
4. No Alcohol
5. No Boxed Cereal.
+ 9/20: 155- Exercise is going to be the hardest part for today. I slept in this morning; my lunch was filled with a work project and this evening will probably be filled with kids activities. Got in a workout last night after work. So it was a "perfect day" after all.
+ 9/21: 153.5- Missed the morning workout again. Need to figure out a better way to be successful. Wine night or exercise and 5 days of perfection? Family and a bit of exercise. Rode the bike to the parade with the boy. Not a sweaty workout. But I got out and moved. I'm calling it a success.
- 9/22: 154.5- Dry roasted peanuts and walnuts last night before bed. I'm sure the sodium is the culprit for the additional pound. That and I need to... nevermind. Worked out this morning on the elliptical. Planning on a lunchtime walk. Ate some of DDs turtle sundae.
- 9/23: (Don't remember)- Food pretty good. But I did have a brownie. Still under calorie goals. Shaun T for workout.
- 9/24: (Don't remember) Sweaty workout on the elliptical, followed by hours in the garden. Food choices good. I did eat a couple of brownies, but my calories were still below MFP goals. Made thai lettuce wraps, maki rolls, and miso soup. LOTS of sodium.
9/25:158- Yeppers. Worked my *kitten* off this weekend, kept under my calorie goals, and I am up 3.5 pounds from last week. GRRRR. Pretty sure it is water retention from the high sodium meal I made last night. But still! Hard day yesterday. Chose to sleep this morning. Lunchtime walk is in the future.

9/21 - 132.8 I ran 5 miles yesterday and logged everything (finally). Off to the gym I go. Back in the right direction. woohoo!!!
9/22 - 131.8 It really is all about what you eat and logging. Logged everything yesterday (even if it was all at the end of the day). Whenever I fall off the logging wagon, I pay the price on the scale. But really it's a chicken or egg type of story - because when I am not eating right, I don't want to log. The exercise part is the easy part for me. Happy Friday everyone!!!

9/24 - didn't weigh right this morning. Weighed w/clothes on and then naked post run. But I figure was between 131-132. Ate Chinese tonight, probably will retain some water. But got my run in. We will see...

9/22--225.3 Back to the start of the round. I would love to break into the 224's by the end of this round, but I don't like to make weight goals. Weightlifted and stretched yesterday.
9/23--225.7 Was over about 400 cals yesterday, so not surprised about the temporary water gain. Stretched yesterday and went out for a hike today.
9/24--226.8 Total water retention. So sore from my hike yesterday and I did not drink enough water. Stretched yesterday.
9/25--225.9 The water weight is starting to go. The one thing that I realized this weekend is that I did not drink a lot of water and last night I started snacking even though I wasn't hungry. I caught myself from going over my calories too much, but it made me realize again that what we think may be hunger may really just be thirst.

I'm also cutting my calories to 1680, since I've been pretty much maintaining at 1800-1900. Here's to a better day!

9/25: Still sick from the snack mistake, and I've realized that it's made even worse because I forgot one of my weekly medications. Missing school because I don't want to be away from the bathroom. Had another off day with food yesterday - this particular issue always makes me absurdly hungry. I was so looking forward to getting back to school and away from temptations, too...at least I've been managing to stay below maintenance, and yesterday I actually did stay within my target, but still. I can't wait until my body calms the hell down.

Plus yesterday, we spent 3 hrs each way driving to pick up my dog from my nephew - ate fast food on the way there, ate fast food on the way home.8
