09/24: 174.4 What in the world?! I biked 6.5 miles yesterday before my day got crazy and walked about 8000 steps because we picked up Mom from rehab, and now she's back home. I stuck to my water, and I was under my calories. BTW: this is the 5th time I've seen this number now. I think it really likes me, but I'm starting to think I don't like it very much. Lol

It's all of the exercise! Your muscles are holding on to water. I'm paraphrasing Bob Green here but the jist of it is this . . . the more you exercise, the more glycogen your muscles hold onto. Each gram of glycogen holds onto approximately 2.5 grams of water. Also, the more fit you become, the more glycogen your muscles hold onto for fuel. So you may be gaining weight, but you are probably losing body fat!!! And we all know that muscle burns more calories than fat, so Yeah you!!

So true, and muscle weighs more than fat too!!!! :)
