TIL that a room known as ‘Room 641A’ in the AT&T telecommunications backbone houses beamsplitters capable of monitoring all the internet traffic in the US. It was largely thought to be a myth until PRISM revealed its existence in 2007.

Well I learned that on the interweb, amongst thousands of people, I'm quite insignificant. Kinda like in real life. But then there's those handful of people who show you are valued, loved and cared for and that right there, is gold. Nothing else matters.5

TIL that Mozart disliked performer Adriana Ferrarese del Bene, who was know for nodding her head down on low notes and raising her head on high notes, so much, that he wrote a song for her to perform that had lots of jumps from low to high just so he could see her head "bob like a chicken" onstage.5

Was it Mozart or Beethoven that wrote a song called "Leck mich im Arsch" and had a fart diary?

I learned that once you give your heart to someone, even if you part ways, a little piece of you stays with them and you feel as though you'll never be complete again
@pekovic_m I find this true up to a point, I also find a little piece of their heart stays with you to replace that which was lost to them. As the pieces are healed together, you heart becomes whole again. Time cures this. For the rare individuals who who only give and never receive, they eventually become heartless, cold and uncaring.2 -
