TIL an Australian broadcaster banned an episode of Peppa Pig that taught that "spiders can't hurt you" after complaints it was unsuitable for Australian audiences.
which makes sense. the most dangerous spiders in the UK are described as redness or mild pain when they bite.
but australian spider bites are describe more like fangs so long they can pierce toenails but antivenom in available so there hasnt been any deaths in 50 years.
I would hope they wouldnt show that peppa pig episode, dont want a 5 year old playing with a funnel web spider2 -
