    9/20
    9/21
9/22 - 178.8 this was down from 179 earlier in the week
    9/23
    9/24
    9/25
9/26 - 179.2 We had a birthday celebration Saturday and big brunch on Sunday. I went for a 5 mile hike to earn calories for Saturday and still came in at a deficit. Sunday I didn't track. I drank a lot of champagne. ;) My mother was there. Lol
9/27 - 179 Calories have been on track the last 2 days but I'm not drinking enough water. I've pre logged my food for today.
9/28 - 180 This number is so discouraging for me, but my day got totally derailed when I realized I was expected at a community food/wine event last night. I've logged it, and my calories weren't too bad (still at a slight deficit over what I burned, and I moved very little yesterday) but the sodium... oy. So I'm hoping it will drop. I've got a slight cold, too, which is weird. I never get sick. I don't feel too bad, I think it's a sign to take better care of myself. Is it possible to plateau before making progress? ;)
9/29 - 178. Yay!! A drop! I think I like this challenge. I imagine there are many learning opportunities about ourselves on it. Thanks for inviting me!

I can't remember what board I found this challenge on! Was it the motivation one? I definitely want to participate in round 18! I'm on my phone, and for some reason I can see the challenge but not which board. Sorry if I sound like an idiot. Lol.

9/27: 173.5..... A cautious hooray. Don't break my heart, please don't go back up.
I did OK on calories today, no added sugar, good on water, jogged my mile. Did I mention I can now JOG ONE MILE? Like jogging the whole way, even if it's slow. It's a big deal in my world.

Congratulations on the jog. That's awesome! Nice work on your health, too. :)

9/29 - 262.0 - Well, I didn't meet my goal in the end. Over the 10 days, I had a total loss of 2.2 pounds. Not great, but at least it's progress. ...

Whoa! Whoa! Stop and smile! A loss of over two pounds in 10 days is FANTASTIC!! In fact, it's at the high end of recommended speed for weight loss. You are amazing and don't you forget it!!!

Not possible to "flunk" this. Did you learn anything yet? That's the wonderful thing about these challenges -- what we learn! It's not all or nothing. Read others' reports. Some went up. Some went down. Some shared wonderful insights. Come back for the next round, please!

    Round 16/9: HW 259.4 LW 256.8 MidW = 258.1
    Day/Weight/Comment
9/20 255.4 -- Starting the challenge with a nice, new low weight. Hello, 255!
9/21 257.6 -- Chinese take out and a pecan praline-induced snack attack. Let’s make this the high for this round, eh?
9/22 257.0 -- Starting the slow descent; shedding the water and avoiding overeating. Another day or two (or three) and I should be back down to where I started this round.
9/23 256.8 -- Down a titch but I ate right through any deficit last night. Late night snacking is my nemesis!!
9/24 255.6 -- Yay! Self discipline! I even managed to watch Anthony Bourdain eat his way across Paraguay late last night without heading to the kitchen. The urge was there but I fought it!
9/25 254.8 -- CICO rocks! With a new pound reached, time to recalculate TDEE-500 and shave another 5 calories off my daily limit.
9/26 253.6 -- Well, that’s a pleasant surprise!!! Let’s see if we can hold onto it!
9/27 253.4 -- Okay, it’s only 2/10th of a pound since yesterday but it caused my homepage to proclaim 30 pounds down!!
9/28 253.4 -- Snacked right past any deficit last night. Insights abound. Among them: once I start I have difficulty stopping. Oh, I’ll just have this 100 calories morphs easily into 500. Old habits die hard!

9/29 253.6 -- One hopes for a shocking new loss for the last day but I can feel myself holding water this morning. Oh, well. The middle of the range for this challenge is 2.6 lbs. Less than the last so no complaints here!

    Round 17/10: HW 257.6 LW 253.4 MidW = 255.5

    C U in #18, challenge buddies!!

Doing the ILKB 45 day challenge as well.
Drinking lots of water each day.

    Day/Weight/Comment
9/20 125.8 -weight crept back up after last weeks several day low at the 122s. I did kickboxing last night. Went over calories by 200 calories.
9/21 127.3 - very frustrated. I did a legs day and a whole body workout yesterday. I was over calories due to the holiday, but not 2 lbs worth. Not sure why my weight keeps creeping up despite increased workouts and watching my calorie intake.
9/22 125.1 - weight went down a bit. Ate within calories. Did a HIIT class and kickboxing.
9/23. 126.3. Urggggghh. I did a whole body interval class and kickboxing class. Ate within calories. I would be ok with no loss, but the gains are frustrating me. I'm already at 1200 calorie intake.
9/24 124.8 Did 2 back to back kickboxing classes yesterday. Ate within calories,
9/25 124.3 Rest day. Ate within calories.
9/26 124.3 Did an upper arm 30 minute class. Over ate by ~ 350 calories.
9/27 123.8. Finally a number within last weeks average! Happy scale is no longer registering a loss average for me. =( I did 2 kickboxing classes. Didn't eat back all my calories.
9/28 123.1 Did a legs day. Went over by ~350 late at night. Still no trend on Happy Scale.
9/29 123.9. Did a morning and evening kickboxing class. Was under calories for the day.

Hard to figure out if I'm pushing my body too much or not enough.

    Round 17
    Starting weight 175.6
I'm heading the wrong direction and very frustrated. Had a long discussion with myself on what I've been doing incorrectly. I need to move some every day. Drink less alcohol all the way around. I tend to lose focus when my sons health (Crohn's disease) is not going well. Seek comfort in the wrong things.

    9/20- 175.6
    9/21
    9/22 - 175
    9/23 - 173.4 - what????
    9/24 - 175.2 - of course
    9/25 - 175.6
    9/26 - 175.4
9/27 - 174.4 - trying to keep moving. Limiting Alcohol. :) Hope this works.
9/28 - didn't way today. Son is sick again, and got distracted. Arggggggg.
    9/29

Goal for this round is back down to 174. Ultimate goal weight 153.

    Focus.

Jumping in late but 2nd round for me.

    R16 start: 165.7 end:164.4
    R17 start 164.4 goal: 162.5

    Day/Weight/Comment
    9/20
    9/21
9/22 165.5 fluctuation up from R16 end weight. I did have a pretty carb heavy meal yesterday amd didn't drink a lot of water. Today focusing on getting all my water in.

9/23 166.6 Up again, but weighing every day is really helping me see what gets me up or down and when I start falling off. This week has been stressful so haven't been tracking meals well and Ive had more alcohol than normal and letting fast foods sneak back in. Plus side.is catching it quickly so I can get back on track.

9/24 163.2 Glad to see some downward movement again. That said this is probably a little bit of a fluke. Worked out with the trainer yesterday, walked around a lot and barely ate in the evening because I think I'm getting a cold. Still, I'll take it. As a side note, my scale is dying and I have an irrational fear that getting a new one will mess up my tracking!

9/25 165.4 Up again. TOM so to be expected. Plus I felt like yesterday's loss was a bit of a fluke.

    9/26 Can't find yesterday's post! I think I was at 163.2

    9/27 162.4 Yay downward motion!

9/28 163.2 little bump up. Good workout yesterday but ate late. Still happy that my "ups" are lower than they were.

9/29 161.4 Hooray! Surpassed my goal in this round. Really owe a lot of success to this group. Not sure why I'm this far down today because I ate a burger way late last night and drank alcohol. Working on better tracking, prepping and drinking my water in the next round! Has the link for it been posted?

I came into this daily challenge to learn to face whatever obstacles present itself - good or bad. And not eat it away. Thanks for reminding of this. I have to face it. Time to pull up the big girl panties, at 50 what other choice there is

Next round here I come. Yes!

    SW 190
    CW :180
    GW for challenge 178
    GW overall 154
    Day/Weight/Comment
9/20 : I weighed in at 180 and really want to reach the 70s! Hoping to get a workout after work! I made all my meals for today so no eating out.
9/21: 181. Yikes!! lol I'm not sure why? I was under calories but didn't hit my water goal so maybe that's why? Still comited and doing strong! The 70s will be mine!!!!
9/22 179.4. Yayy!!!! I'm going to keep it going so I stay in the 70s. I had a great day yesterday! All my meals planned, a nice workout, increased my water intake and eight hours of sleep! I wonder how much I'd weigh if everyday was like that? Doing the same today! Feeling determined!
9/23 178.2! Wow!!! Okay. I'm hoping to keep it here! I've had another great day yesterday. I am so happy! Going for another great day today since I work late tonight.
9/24 179.0. I'm okay with this number. My weigh in was wayyyy earlier then normal since I had to be at work at 5:30am!! I also had an emotional day yesterday which lead to my workout being before I went to sleep rather then earlier in the day! I was still under my calorie goal which is great but I was no where near the 8 hours of sleep so I feel sluggish today. Hopefully I can make it through work without any issues.
9/25 179.6 so yesterday was not a good day for me. I was over on calories started TOM and just gave into a lot of cravings. Worried about today as well as I am eating out with my mother and her choices in restaurants aren't always health friendly. So I'm planning a hard work out night to head in the right direction tomorrow
9/26 178.6 Yes!!! I knew I could do it! Okay let's see how I can do today now that I'm closing! Closing shifts are my favorite because I have a great routine when it comes to them! So hopefully I'm the same or go down again!
9/27 178.8 Too much sugar and not enough water yesterday! I was just having one of those days where work was a real pain. I'm still glad to see the 70's. Hoping to end it strong maybe with my lowest weight?
9/28 179. lol another early weigh in and start of the day. Planning a good work out tonight to see how I do!
9/29 177.6!!!!! Wow that is a great number hoping to keep it! It's my day off which means it can be great or I can fall off the wagon! I'm hoping to eat under, workout and have all the water I need!

This challenge has really helped me learn a lot about my body! SO, bring on round 18!!! Lol

    Ultimate goal - 135
    R17 Goals: eat well clean & healthfully, ~1430 cal, macros P30 C35 F35 %
    5'3", 64 yrs
    R15 end weight 151.2
    R16 end weight 151.4
    R17 end weight 151

Date - Moving Average (Happy Scale)
    9/20 - 151.8
I had bounced up a little toward the end of R16, so this is actually back down a pound. :-)

    9/21 - 151.8
Hit most of my goals - a little off on patience. ;-)

    9/22 - 151.9
I'm hitting my goals, so I know it's water. At least it doesn't look so bad with the moving average!

    9/23 - 152.1
Oopsie. My hubby is out of town and I went on a Triscuit binge last night, so I'm up 2 pounds this morning. I know this is not fat, but still...I haven't done that in a very long time - not sure what got into me. Anyway, off to the store for lean protein and veggies. I'm also cutting my calories to 1680, since I've been pretty much maintaining at 1800-1900. Here's to a better day!

    9/24 - 152.3
Still paying for my Fri night binge, but I was back on track yesterday and will stay there today. Tomorrow is another day!

    9/25 - 152.3
Sigh. I'm eating at calorie/macro goals but didn't get my walk yesterday. Still, I thought I'd drop a little. Off for a long walk now. I keep reminding myself that there's always a time lag, and the numbers will improve.

    9/26 - 152.1
Amazing how easy it is to add, how difficult to subtract. I'm focusing on just eating well and walking. The weight will go. Is this the Universe telling me to work on my patience muscle?

    9/27 - 152
My weight is actually down 1.2 lb to 151.6, but the moving average takes longer to move, of course. But yay! I'm eating lots of protein and fat, cut back on carbs, lots of water, and walking. I'd really like to finish the round at least where I started, if not lower!

    9/28 - 151.4 (ave 151.8)
I got tired of seeing that elevated average :-). So paying attention is paying off and I seem to be moving in the right direction. Yay! Now that the weather is a bit cooler, I'm going to start running again (actually "wrunning" - walk/run intervals). I don't generally go long distance (although I did a 10K last winter), but feel better if I do about 20 min of running 3-4 times a week.

    9/29 - 151 (ave 151.7)
Okay! Down .8 for this round despite my triscuit/licorice binge uptick early on. It's not a lot of weight, but I FEEL thinner/lighter, so something's happening. I cut my calories to ~1500 about half way through this round (after the binge) and that sees to be the magic number. And I'd like to say this group and the daily accountability helps a lot. Looking forward to Round 18!

All right, the moment of truth for this session!

    9/20 - 214.2 lb
    9/21 - 213.6
    9/22 - 211.4
    9/23 - 213.2
    9/24 - 213.2
    9/25 - 213.2
    9/26 - no data
    9/27 - 211.0
    9/28 - 211.8
    9/29 - 211.2!

Total loss over 10 days: 3 lb!

Finally officially signed up for my first two events last night (hooray for payday), which, looking at this, feels like a great reward for staying on track. At this rate, I think I'm also doing a pretty good job toward earning myself a good fitness tracker.

Heading to both of my gyms later to keep up the momentum!
