How close are you now? And I know I could dig it up somewhere.
I'm still shooting for 220 (weight, not lifting or anything). Got close this morning (220.7).4 -

You can do this!
My goal is to squat 135 lbs by the end of the year.
Nice! Can't wait to see that video!1 -

8.7 pounds away from ONEDERLAND. I am officially over my halfway mark to my UGW of 160 pounds. 51 down, 49 to go!12

I can’t wait to get out of the plus size section and into some cute clothes!8

5 lbs until I weigh the same as my little brother, made him a promise couple months back that I will and he said it’s impossible lol.
Of course that’s just one of many on this journey7 -
I just reached my lowest weight in 18 years! My next goal is to lose 5 lbs. That'll take me out of "severely obese" and put me into plain old "obese." Who ever thought I would be happy with being obese! (47 lbs ago I was morbidly obese!)7

There is this book I really want to read but I promised myself not to buy it before I am under 85 kg (about 3 kg away now...). I had this goal before and I won't let go until I am there...4

To weigh what I did when I got pregnant. I had lost a bunch of weight before I got pregnant but I still wasn’t at my goal. Pre-pregnancy weight: 150, CW: 164.3

I'm 5'8" and saw a progress picture of another MFP member who now weighs 190 -- she looked awesome! So 190 is an easier goal to reach (I am 223+ right now and my initial goal was 180). This is such an incentive to step it up!!7

I have an appointment on January 11th for my annual checkup with my general practitioner. Last year, he pretended to be excited that I had lost 8 lbs between January 2015 and December 2015. I weighed 234 at the end of December 2015, and my goal is to get down to 184 by my January 11 2017 appointment. That would be a 50-lb loss and I think he would be excited for real! I'm at 192-193 today, normally losing 1.5 to 2lbs / week so I think 8 lbs in 6 weeks is do-able.
UPDATE:
Well, I got down to 185 according to his scale but 182 according to mine. He was still happy that I lost 49 lbs over the year. Then he asked what my goal weight is. I told him 150, possibly down to 140. He told me to try for 135, and that anything over 150 at my height (5 ft 5") is still too much. My bubble of happiness has temporarily burst. He gave me a year to do it, so I'll reset some mini goals after I recover from the gut-punch. So my next goal is to get rid of all my size 16 pants and XXL tops and fit into all size 14 jeans and Large tops. That should happen within 6 weeks, when all the stores start bringing out the cute spring clothes.
I'm 'replying' to this post SO LATE that actually now it might be relevant again. @LynnBBQ72 I'm guessing you've got another doctor's appointment coming up pretty soon. How's your progress been in the intervening several months? Are you personally satisfied with your efforts and/or results? Do you think your doctor will be pleased this year?2 -
I'm looking forward to wearing a 2x instead of a 3x.4

First GW: 178 (In past weight loss, something magical happens around this weight and I start to feel thin.)
Woo hoo! I met my first mini goal, next stop under 200. I have been seeing things pop up in my facebook feed about my year of distance running in 2011 (half marathon was my longest). Lately I've been doing a run/walk combo for a total of 30 mins, gradually extending my running intervals. These lead to my next mini-goals:
Mini goal 1: get under 210 - met! (209.6)
Mini goal 2a: Onederland by late December or early January
Mini goal 2b: Run for 30 mins straight5 -
My current goal is to stay away from the Halloween candy!!9
-
300 lbs deadlift is my current goal.5
-
My mini-goal is to finish the C25K program and run a 5K with my 11 year old son (his first) next Sunday.9

Mine's really silly (I think) - this is my second round of major weight loss, the first was in 2009. I then gained all and some back over the last 6 years, so I'm about to reach my "first starting weight" and that for me shines light into the end of the tunnel!
Ah yes this is almost exactly my situation too. I dropped maybe 20 pounds in 2009. Didn't make it all the way to a healthy BMI before it started creeping back up, then went another 30 pounds over, sadly. Since I joined MFP in May of this year I've dropped those additional 30 pounds, which I couldn't be more pleased about, yet it's a little bit of a mind-*kitten* to understand that I'm only at the starting point of last time around.
This time will be different because last time was under pressure from my vain and micromanaging mom (even though I was in my mid-30s at the time!), who not only wanted me to lose weight but also was convinced she knew how I should go about it (she stuck a copy of the South Beach Diet book in my hand). This time I'm doing it for myself and with the MFP community and 'If it fits in my calories/macros' I'm doing it in a way that is, I think, logical and sustainable for my personal situation. So I'm motivated by the little successes and the taking stock process I've been going through along the way.6
