    11/2: 20 minutes strength training arms, 40 minutes Elliptical, Zumba Toning/low impact 40 minutes
    11/3-11/7: None due to illness
    11/8: 25 minutes Elliptical, 35 minutes walk/run (3 miles)
    11/9: 40 minutes Elliptical (high intensity), 20 minute walk (warm up/cool down)
    11/10: Walk/run 80 minutes
    11/11: 20 min Weight lifting training arms, 10 minute elliptical, 20 minute bike, 10 minute walk cool down

    I've been doing 10-12 hrs of working out a week for months now. So the fact the challenge is for 24hrs in a month makes me wonder if I'm overdoing it.

    Either way my routine is 1hr of taekwondo plus 1hr of either kickboxing or Krav maga mon,tues,wed,thurs,sat. only 1hr of taekwondo on Fridays.

    October went better than anticipated ... hoping for a good November too! Roughly the same distance/hours as in previous years ... or more. :) I am finished university for a couple months, so hopefully I will have more time to be active.

    Nov 2015: 660.21 km (410.23 miles) = 60 hours 41 min
    Nov 2016: 403 km (250.4 miles) = 52 hours 16 min

    Nov 1 - 7 km walking (85 min) + 16 flights of stairs (12 min) ... that's 16 flights of 20 steps, up and down and including a few steps on each landing. :)
    Nov 2 - 1.4 km walking (17 min) ... mad studying for exam
    Nov 3 - 6.7 km walking (80 min) + 8 flights of stairs (6 min) ... lots of walking to university for exam, between university and work, out to the grocery store to get lunch, and out to dinner later in the day.
    Nov 4 - 7.9 km running (mostly) and walking (65 min) + 1.6 km rowing (10 min) ... I don't run often but I got into the zone!
    Nov 5 - 12.6 km hiking (155 min) ... beautiful local hike!! Some photos below ...
    Nov 6 - 2.6 km walking (30 min) + 10 flights of stairs (8 min)
    Dental appointment Monday after work ... worst extraction I've ever had. Not the fault of this dentist - she was good. Fault of previous dentist and ... tooth root embedded in jaw bone + bad infection surrounding tooth. Had to cut my gum open and dig out the bone. Couldn't freeze me enough.
    I am on cold liquids (ice cream, yogurt, Ensure) and not supposed to exercise for a couple days. She said not even walking but I did need to walk a little bit today (Nov 7).
    Nov 7 - 0.7 km walking (8 min)
    I'm back! That dental surgery really put a dent in my plans. I spent so much time sleeping on Nov 7, 8, and 9
    Nov 8 - 1.6 km walking (20 min)

    The walking was between Open Homes in Hobart. Each year we're given the opportunity to explore buildings that we don't normally have access to. This has been going on for several years, and each year we pick a few places that we'd like to see. It's quite interesting!
    The cycling was a test ride to see whether or not my jaw would hold up to the joins in the pavement on the Cycleway and other bumps. It did all right.
    Nov 12 - 1.7 km walking (21 min) + 20.6 km cycling (65 min)
    Nov 13 - 7.9 km walking (98 min) + 14 flights of stairs (11 min)
    Nov 14 - 7.2 km walking (90 min) + 20 flights of stairs (16 min) ... part of this was a lovely walk to the Botanical Gardens at lunch in summer-like weather!

    Nov 16 - 5.6 km walking (70 min) + 14 flights of stairs (11 min)

    Nov 17 - 2.7 km walking (30 min) + 10 flights of stairs (8 min)

    Nov 18 - 162.3 km cycling (507 min) ... November Century!!
