I had a fantastic week, the extra calories burned to get the 500 a day have helped me out big time, my weight on Monday was 270 today I am so proud of myself I weighed in at 265, YAY me!! I finally feel like I can really do this! Oh and my Calories so far this week are 2004 over the last 4.5 days.0

1269 cals burned so far. Didn't know about the challege til late Wednesday. Will be burning at least 419 more today. 1688 total.

Hiya. Here's the deal so far - not quite making the 500 a day, but this is excellent for me (I currently have a sports injury) so thanks for making the challenge and providing me with the motivation.
SW = 157.8
8/1 Mon - 337 burned
8/2 Tues - 302 burned
8/3 Wed - 438 burned
8/4 Thurs - 733 burned
Total burned so far = 1,810
Friday's weight = 156.8, I lost a pound!

I'm still not on the list either...
I had a 7lb loss on the scale today - which equaled around 5lbs after the 2lb gain I had last week....
my burn is sitting at 2565 so far this week! woot!!0 -
looks like everyone is kicking some butt!!! I only lost a pd this week so I am at 208 but I have burned 2151 and I haven't logged today well cause I haven't done anything except chase kids. Feel free to friend request if we aren't already friends.0

~whatshesaid~ DON'T give up! I gained last month from exercise, muscles holding fluid. I had a lot going on wrong. I was also dehydrated and had to increase my water intake to 80+ ounces a day and I wasn't eating my exercise calories back, so I was deep into starvation mode. It took 3 weeks for me to lose 0.4 lbs and I was happy to see that. So press on, it will happen.

To the gym for me tonight for some elliptical intervals. mmmm, mmmm can't wait!0 -
I actually GAINED 0.3lbs.. Here's hoping it's just muscle, my clothes aren't feeling any looser yet and i've been doing this for 3-4 weeks now, exercising at the gym, 30DS and TRYING to eat as well as I can without totally restricting myself to the point of misery
So far this plan to lose 20lbs before Oct 1 isn't working at ALL.
Looks like i'll have to just start eating salads with grilled chicken on them forever
How is your water intake? Sometimes when I dont drink enough water and I'm working out like crazy, my body soaks it up like a sponge and doesn't want to let it go. Lol0 -
Didn't lose any weight after all that hard work :grumble: But I did lose 1/2 inch in my waist which makes 1 inch total in 2 weeks. And that is really the most important thing. I could actually zip up my jeans. Still tight but at least wearable....standing up0

The scale didn't budge but I know I didn't eat as well as I should/could have (out of town for work), and didn't drink as much water (although still over 8 cups a day), AND:blushing: ...had WAY too many screwdrivers with my coworkers! NSV: two NEW pairs of capris that I bought for a Vegas trip in 2 weeks are too BIG!

Thats great! Its such a good feeling when your clothes dont fit cause they are TOO SMALL...lol Good for you, you might have not lost any pounds but thats proof that inches are disappearing...nice.0 -
