1/2 - 227.8 - moment of truth after 9 days at my parent's house with all the old habits that got me where I was, so naturally it's no shocker I'm up basically 9 pounds over the holidays (it's like a pound per day 0.0) but I didn't do much activity and didn't eat well so I'm not surprised. Some is likely water retention and honestly I'm not really bothered because I had a good time and I'm back in the city where I can go back to my usual routine. No regrets, I had an excellent holiday, now back to work.

Happy New Year, everyone!
OSW (4/25/17): 320.0
R26SW: 265.4
R27SW: 263.5
Got a late start posting, as I’ve been on the road home through the Rockies for 3 days.
12/29 - 263.5
Starting my road trip today! My goal is to avoid all carbs during the drive.
12/30 - 262.8
Yay! I stopped a couple of hours into my drive to meet my aunt and her bestie for lunch. Both are really supportive of my journey and are on similar paths themselves. I was able to stick to just an ahi tuna steak, salad, and cauliflower mash for the meal, which set me up for most of the day! Stuck to protein-based snacks and stayed hydrated for the rest of the drive!
12/31 - 261.0
Awesome! I’m only 5 lbs away from my next goal, which is to lose 64 lbs; 20% of my starting body weight. And I only have about a 4-hour drive to get the rest of the way home. Can’t wait to see my man and my kitties!
1/1 - 261.0
Happy New Year! So happy to be home and able to sleep in my own bed again!
1/2 - 261.0
I’ve got a big day today and spent most of the night thinking instead of sleeping. I think I would have lost this morning if I’d had a full night of sleep! I’m hoping to get through everything today to spend my honey’s birthday with him tonight.

I'm in. I was going to give it a rest, but thought better of it. Lol! I need the discipline after December. Not weighing was a big mistake over the holidays.
Long-term Focus: In the normal range for my age height and build, on maintenance.
December was a very indulgent month. This round, I am focused on losing my holiday baggage.
I HAVE the power and determination to do this.
Primary Goal - 160lbs +/- 2lbs. 1lb per round.
to all the Newbies, and Hi to those returning for another Round. This has given me a motivational element of daily accountability.
Observations, and Previous RoundsMany events along the way will scupper our best intentions, but they merely delay the achievement of our goals. Life is for living, and one must learn patience. It takes many years to put on excess weight, so It follows that it takes much time to remove, but it does come off, bit by stubborn bit! If you stick with it! The game continues!
A lot of people get upset by apparent weight gain when they have been working their butts off. Body weight fluctuates, both up, and down, from one day to the next depending on so many factors. From my experience:- Changes often take several days to show on the scale.
- A drop is often followed by a bounce up before it settles back down. A general downward trend is the aim.
- A high sodium day usually results in a gain due to water retention, unless you drink extra fluids to flush it out.
If you are making positive lifestyle changes it will lead to increased health and fitness.
Slow and steady leads to sustainable weight loss.
But remember to live a little along the way!

Weight: 12st 7
Day/Weight/Comment
12/29 - 12st 7 starting again. I CAN do 10 days in a row... reasonable calories, stronglifts, sleep training the toddler a little
12/30 - 12st 6.9 oh dear. Late night snacks. On the plus side, did get 1 year old to fall asleep not on the breast or walking around the room. He didn't like it much, even with cuddles!
12/31 - 12st 7.7 body noticed the extra chocolate then...better behaved today
1/1 - 12st 7.7 working today 24h not snacking too much so hopefully will lose tomorrow!
1/2 - 12st 1.0 ok! There goes the water weight
1/3 - 12st 3.4 And that is the result of alcohol. Late celebration as I was working New Years

I'm in for my sixth round Fifth round was a write off to be honest, but had a great few days away in Amsterdam a great Christmas, daughters birthday and still got New Years to go - but need to start back somewhere!
Round 22 start weight - 151.40
Round 23 start weight - 145.80
Round 24 start weight - 147.60
Round 25 start weight - 141.60
Round 26 start weight - 141.90
Round 27 start weight - 146.20
Loss to date - 5.2 lbs
12/29 - 146.20. Oops!!!! Went to the gym for an hours PT today, drinking plenty of water but have loads of goodies in the house as my daughters 10th birthday party disco dome and sleepover so going to try hard to resist.....
12/30 - Didn't weigh in - house full of 10 years old this morning post sleepover so by the time I remembered I had already eaten! Carb laden dinner last night though (turkey risotto) so probably wouldn't have been good reading! Ache a lot from gym session yesterday - only been off a week! Good food day planned today though and aiming to get back to drinking plenty of water .......
12/31 - 146.20 - so stayed the same ho hum..... Not been too off track but did eat some of my daughters birthday cake and need to get back to eating more fibre and drinking more water to get things moving I think as still feel so bloated! Out tonight to a friends for New Years Eve which will involve all round a table talking, drinking and knowing my friend way too much bad food so going to try and resist the worst of it ....
01/01 - 147.50 - not surprised as out until 5am at friends for New Year so still had a belly full of food at weigh in this morning! did go for a walk yesterday afternoon to ensure I made nmy 10000 steps for the day though New Year and off we go. A good food day planned
01/02 - 145.9 - 1.6lbs down Back to work & school day - boo!!! But weight dropped after sensible day yesterday and a good day planned - water intake is back up and off to the gym tonight.
01/03 - 143.70 - wow 2.2lbs down overnight! But then I drank loads yesterday, went to the loo I don't know how many times and also had a tough HiiT session at the gym last night followed a walk home the long way to get my steps up to 10,000+. One thing I have learned from the daily weighing is how much my weight can vary just from even one evening of "over indulgence" and not tracking / counting let alone the Christmas period and how long it can take to go back down. But happy so far Just need to stay on track and keep drinking ......
01/04 -
01/05 -
01/06 - Away for weekend - taking my Brownies to Butlins for the weekend so will need to try and choose wisely from the food that is on offer (canteen style food!!) and make sure I keep up water intake and unable to weigh
01/07 - Butlins7 -
And I'm back for 2018! I hope you don't mind me joining half way through. Looking forward to kicking some butt this year and finally making my goal weight after 6 YEARS of being on MFP

R27 (14th Round for me)
So the last round was a real kick in the teeth. I never thought I'd see those numbers again. The New Year is right around the corner though and I have my will power back so I know I'll do well eventually. The fact that I'm posting on here and being honest is a huge deal. I used to always hide my defeats. It's nice to be able to show them and be accountable and still remain determined. I broke a rib (no exercise allowed for 6 weeks!) and I've got TOM visiting this round.
Day/Weight/Comment
12/29: 197.0 I've gained exactly 10 lbs back over this holiday season. Oh well at least it's not 10 added on to what I was when I started! I'll lose it again. TOM is also skewing the results by a pound or two. Means I prob won't see my goal by Jan 1, but I'm feeling good about the rest of January!

After I lost 10 pounds after I joined MFP on January 1st last year I was able to keep it off until recently. Need to get back to my original and want to lose another 10 and keep it off…..of course more weight would be great but I want to maintain it and change my lifestyle more permanently so that I don’t keep having to lose the same pounds over and over again!!

@junodog1 I wondered what happened to you. It’s good to see you back!
@brightresolve I have to say lemon squares sound so good to me! I love the sweet/sour of them but after no grain products or sugar for almost 6 months, I think they would not agree with me. Are they all gone now?
Well isn't that an awesome challenge to be a part of. I hope you enjoy it.2 -

I just thought I'd share.
I'm there, too, @nikki062181 ;-)
Yay! It's so nice to have familiar faces.4 -

12/29: 163 I really pushed the fluids again and stuck to my healthy foods. I also believe that I'm getting sick.
12/30: 162.6 I'm officially over halfway to my goal. Woot!
12/31: 162.6 Maintaining...let's hope I have will power tonight and stay the course. In fact, I know I can.
01/01: 160.8 Mind blown! I have been pushing fluids for several days. I am going to try to keep doing so. It is also tradition in my house to make greasy, scrumptious, finger foods to ring in the New Years. I did just that, but for me, I had the will power to skip it and make something healthy for me. I'm glad I did because it paid off! Happy New Years everyone! I'm hoping it's an amazing for each of you.
01/02: 162.2 Well, I am back up again on this rollercoaster ride. I spent the afternoon with my brother's family and my own watching Jumanji. Then, we grabbed a bite to eat. I had a late meal, and I know it had quite a bit of sodium. Here is to pushing fluids to get that number to go back down. I had a good day though regardless of that #.
01/03: 162.2 If I can lose 2 more oz. and keep it off, I met my goal weight for this round. I have ALWAYS had a hard time losing the closer I get to switching to a new number. I had a good day yesterday. My oldest son did great at being selfless yesterday for his little brother. He gave up xboxing with a friend to Xbox with his little brother. That's a big thing for a teen to do that for a 9-year-old. It just made my day.

1/2: 176.8— Woot Woot!!! Moving in the right direction again. 100 mi in 10 Days Challenge: Day 5= 4.63; Total so far= 51.25 This frigid weather and being away from my gym may make this challenge more difficult than I had intended for it to be. It's not supposed to be this cold in Florida, and all my warm coats are at home.
1/3: 175.4—Yay! Now if I can just not creep back up by the end of the round! Would be good to keep losing!
