Goal = NOT to let myself down and regain it all out of fear as I approach initial goal weight 130.0
1/28 - 132.4 - Sunday weight, deserved, have had a really rocky past few days food wise and feeling wise. Did run 4 miles on Saturday.
1/29 - did not weigh Monday. Up since forever, headache, eating sweets for comfort and didn't even log yesterday. Sometimes what was working stops meaning anything, for just a minute, and I have to regroup
1/30 - 132.2 - I logged yesterday, drank water, and slept last night. Rising again even though I fell (Thanks holisticpradise for reminding me)
1/31 - 132.0 - just under calories yesterday, 30 min rowing workout but didn't get steps. Poor sleep last night. Today, THE DENTIST (twice!)
2/1 - 132.0 - a squinch over calories yesterday, rocking 3 mile run. Lots of emo lately.
2/2 - 130.6 - finally lost the bloat from last weekend's indiscretions, in time for ... THIS WEEKEND! Solid workout last night (run to gym, 10 min stairs, 25 min elliptical going hard) and under calories. It's going to be slower loss from here on out, and harder to tell if I am succeeding. This daily tracking and ACCOUNTABILITY really helps.
2/3 - 130.8 - under calories yesterday and ran a couple of miles.
2/4 - 130.8 - under calories, made my step goal with some low intensity movement, just exhausted so got 8 full hours of crashout. Does not happen every day. Coffee shop with a friend today, working on a plan (it was my nemesis last weekend)
2/5 - 131.0 - way over calories, coffee shop went fine then I blew it at home. Headache, didn't run, using food for comfort, didn't sleep. In other news, it's Monday :P
2/6 -130.6 - Yesterday was a great day - on 2 hours sleep, this had me laughing. Under calories, strong stressbuster cardio workout, work went great, writing project went great, had energy for a few extras.

@xiaoguai I’m also doing Keto- since mid-July. I have been between 144.5and 146.5 since mid-December with a 1 day dip to 143. As they say, “Trust the process.” Even without losing weight or exercise my waist went from 38” to 34” in the first 25 days of this year. Something IS happening. I’m glad I started to write this note to you because I was feeling pretty discouraged myself and it has helped me. I hope it helps you, too!0

01/31 - 140.0 I don't know what happened here, actually ate more than usual yesterday and also late in the evening because of my workout. Probably won't stick.
02/1 - 138.7 Where am I losing this weight from?! I haven't (unfortunately) been very strict on calories, getting to over 2000... Maybe it'll be back up tomorrow.
02/2 - 138.9 Up indeed but nothing to complain about. Lots of vegetables and fruit yesterday.
02/3 - 138.1 Long day at work, workout, lots of vegetables but overall not much food. I need to eat enough not to lose (more) muscle.
02/4 - 138.5 Ate more than enough veggies but had a cookies and candy bingehour, probably also because I ate too little the day before... On the bright side, that only happened for the first time since R29!
02/5 - 138.9 2 matches again and a lot of salt intake, expected fluctuations.
02/6 - 138.7 Hanging around high 138s is fine by me, as long as I keep the binging under control.5 -

Starting Weight: 135 lbs
Goal Weight: 115 lbs - Met in late 2017
I met my goal weight a few months ago. My new goal now is to stay around 115 average. I seem to be ranging lower around 112-114 lately. I love this group & enjoy the daily check ins. I enjoy following everyone else's progress & thanks to my OCD tendencies, I enjoy tracking my calories & daily weight.
Goal This Round: Maintain 115 lbs Average
01/28 • 112 • Dehydrated today. Played 3 sets of tennis. 1600 cal. 3 servings of alcohol
01/29 • 110 • Wow, I can’t seem to stop losing weight. Ran 3 miles & lifted weights. 1150 cal. 3 servings of alcohol
01/30 • 111 • Ran 3 miles. 1650 cal. 1 serving of alcohol

2/06 - 182.4 ran a 5K on the treadmill yesterday but also had some wine and a post-workout snack before dinner. Was 270 calories over my goal but did not count my work out calories.
I have my calorie goal set at 1670 to start. I do not count my work out calories gained as I don't trust the MFP calories burned estimates.
I logged my weight into MFP this morning and saw my history. I used to be very active here but have been away for over a year. I have gained 30 pounds since my lowest weight in 2012! In 2012 I had stopped drinking and was in marathon training and had lost about 20 pounds over 4 or 5 months. I loved how I felt and looked at the weight (154.2) and I want to get back there!
So that's my goal! 154.2
I am loving this challenge so far. I am ready for the Round 31!
Good work everyone and thanks for sharing3 -

Day/Weight/Comment
01/28 - 148
Aaack! But in fairness, I'm retaining everything. Not sure why (but lower carb means a lot lower fiber than usual and we went out for lunch yesterday so the combo is probably it). Anyway, I'm up today but expect a drop soon. I'm happy if I stay under 150 for the next few weeks.
01/29 - 147.2
OK, right direction, but I still feel bloated and puffy. Not sure why - I'm drinking lots of water. I have gone over my calorie goal the past two days, but still.... Anyway, back on track today, cutting carbs (thanks for the nudge, @quiltingjaine, and I'f off for a walk in a few minutes. Still aiming simply to maintain, but that's in the 146's, not higher!
01/30 - 147
Almost back to the 6's!
01/31 - 146.8
Yay!
02/01 - 147.8
Oops, but not unexpected. Dinner out, including bacon, so more salt than usual. Still within goals.
02/02 - 147.4
So easy to gain, so hard to lose. All good, though. I've reminded myself that 4 months ago I hovered in the 150s. If I continue to lose at this rate, I'll be hovering in the 130s by the end of the year. Slow is sustainable - it helps to remember that.
02/03 - 147
Okie dokie.
02/04 - 146.8
Nice to see you again! Feel free to stay a while.
02/05 - 146.8
May a tiny drop tomorrow to finish the round? We shall see.
02/06 - 146.8
OK then. We like it here, apparently. My goal was to maintain, and here I am. Eating on target and walking daily, so all good for now.

01/28: 216
01/29: 216.4 ---Expected this rise. Yesterday was our 4th Sunday family gathering and also a time for everyone to celebrate my son's recent birthday, so it was ALL his favorites. And yes, needless to say, ALL high calorie stuff.
01/30: 216 I was hoping down and not another increase.
01/31: 216 ---Felt really bad yesterday evening so, I laid down early with no workout. Woke up this morning on a cleaning spree. I worked through breakfast but, made myself eat lunch. My fitbit showed I'd been in exercise mode for 8.5 hours. Now I'm exhausted and don't feel like working out, but at least my house is clean.
02/01: 215.4 ???--- I don't know what I weigh. My scale has given me error messages and different weights 5 times ranging from 214.2 to 216.6. So, I'll go with the first number it gave me. Who knows what it will say tomorrow, but I'm comparing scales now online.
02/02: ??????????? - Going to get a new scale.
02/03: 217-- new scale
02/04: 217.4 --- I kept the receipt and packaging, but this thing may end up thrown out the door.
02/05: 217.2
02/06: 216.6---my son put another battery in the old scale even though it wasn't giving the error code LO, and it seemed to help. So, this morning I weighed on both: new 216.6 old: 215.8. I'm going with the new because I'd rather go down than to fool myself in thinking I was already there. So, with all of that being said, I don't know how i made out this round

2/4 221.6 struggled with cravings yesterday but managed to stay within my calorie goal. Hopefully I can control myself during the super bowl.
2/5 223.6 I guess the Super Bowl cheating was a bad idea. No more big cheats allowed. Haha
2/6 223 Off to a great start. I hope I can keep it up. I’ve been logging all my food and staying within calorie goal. I’ve also been making sure to reach 10,000 steps everyday. I’ve added about 3 days of strength training as wel. It’s been a while since I’ve tried and lost any weight so 7 lbs lighter feels great!! I’m so glad I started this challenge!3 -

01/28: 155.5
I didn't do as well in January as I hoped. This process is really an exercise in patience.
01/29: 155.5
I went to a yoga class tonight that I found quite challenging. I'm proud of myself for doing pretty well, I'm mostly new to yoga.
01/30: 154.5
Likely be up again tomorrow, I had a big dinner out with all the sodium. But, I hiked and went for a run today so overall it was a good day for progress, it just won't show up on the scale right away, I'm sure.
01/31: 156.5
I felt like today was a good day, but I still went over my planned calories.
02/01: 158.5
Groan. TOM may be part of it. Gave in to doughnuts at work today after being sugar free most days in Jan, so tomorrow's weigh-in is going to be bad, too.

Two more days to try to at least break even this round.

Tomorrow's another round, hope I'm still under my Round 30 SW.1 -

R29 EW 138.6 (-1.6)

Goal: keep active and less salt
Day/Weight/Comment
01/28 139.8lb absolutely stuffed myself on salty foods last night
01/29 138.2 had no appetite yesterday, was very busy. Weight sure to bounce back up again. As long as it’s not in the 140’s!
01/30 137.2 this is a nice surprise! Practiced last night, Sunday night we went out dancing for a couple hours.
01/31 137.8 got in yoga, a run, and some dancing yesterday but also ate a lot, including more salt and sugar than i should.
02/01 138 salt, why can’t I quit you? Going to dinner and a musical in another city tonight, so lots of sitting and sure to exceed food limits.
02/02 137.2 Early appointments this morning, then worked out with a fitness specialist, ran despite the weather, and practiced yoga for an hour. Was feeling great until I fainted and hit my head super hard. Should have drank more water before all the activity!
02/03 ?? honestly I forget my weight because never had time to record it. Went straight from work to ER where my husband was waiting for emergency appendectomy. Thank God he’s OK!
02/04 135.8 not a real loss: didn’t eat or drink yesterday in the ER. Hubby back home and recovering but we haven’t had hardly any sleep. Not exercising yet- I’m still sore from my fall. Oh the bumps and bruises
02/05 135.8
02/06 137.4 stayed in the 130’s and lost a little, but definitely got off track. Looking forward to settling back into a healthy routine.
Very grateful for the support and encouragement from this amazing group.
See you all for Round 31!1 -

01/28 142.7 (over on sodium- Mexican restaurant- estimated logging- 60 min. elliptical- ate back all or more)
01/29 141.4 (30 min elliptical, ate back all calories)
01/30 141.2 (11 min elliptical; Body Pump Class: ate back all calories)
01/31 142.9 (60 min elliptical; under calorie goal; higher sodium day, but not over)
02/01 143.2 (Body Pump Class; over by 20 calories-1220 net- slightly over on sodium- maybe TOM weight too?)
02/02 143.9 (50 min elliptical; at back most calories-weight gain is frustrating when in deficit- probably TOM)
02/03 143.1 (50 min elliptical; ate back all calories; still no TOM, but probably why weight jumped up this week)
02/04 144.5 (35 min elliptical; WAY over calories-like over 1000 over- TOM-gave in to serious cravings)
02/05 148.1 no exercise; no tracking; ate alot. So after about a month of almost daily exercise and netting 1200 calories my weight can go up by so much and so quickly. So do I have to net 1200 for life to not gain? Frustrated. I know it's water retention mostly, but I want to eat what I want ONCE IN A WHILE without worry. Twice now I've had weight swings of 7 pounds within the same 10 day challenge. Do I need a low sodium diet?
02/06 150.1 (Highest weight in a long time! no tracking , no exercise)
Gain of 7.4 pounds this round. Will drink lots of water and get back on track with logging, exercise, and drinking water. This has to be mostly water because though I ate a lot, it's was only 3 days of eating over a 1200 calorie net
No, you don't have to live on 1200 calories a day for life. I've been able to maintain under 115 lbs eating 1500 calories a day on average. I know it can be frustrating, but what I like to remind myself is that it's about the daily seemingly unimportant decisions. But consistently making them everyday is what leads to success.

Day/Weight/Comment
01/28; 106.0 - My Birthday - Didn't weigh in, had buffet lunch and spent the day riding in the car to/from grandmas. I have my meals planned for 1/29 and this board will help me stay accountable.
01/29: 107.0 - I mean, I didn't want this number, but it is what it is and it reflects what I've been doing. eating too much crap, not focused and just beating myself up mentally. I'm ready for that to change. I want tomorrows number to be better. Surprising enough, last week I had a 104.6 number...so I know this is feasible for this challenge. Goal tomorrow is to be 106.x
1/30: 105.4 - Woosh, there it is. High Fat yesterday, and the scale showed it. I will keep high fat again today as I just loved how it made me feel, satiated and not craving.
1/31: 103.8 - Day 2 of intermittent fasting. Today I did One 4 hour eating window and wow, look at the results. My last meal was finished at 1230pm, so technically, If I'm not hungry, I can maybe make this an entire 24hour fast. I love the number on the scale. I'm in disbelief at how well checking in with this group has made me focus. I honestly expected this weight on day 10 instead of day 4. Macros ; Fat:55% Carb:25% Protein:15%
2/1: 105.2 - Carb day yesterday, arund 130g so, i'm not shocked by this. Its still less then before and gives me motivation to do well today with Keto style eating and keeping carbs to a minimum. #noBarsTodayPeeps
2/2: 105.8 - Still had around 130g carbs yesterday. I really didn't want to get on the scale. Also had chicken tenders with plenty of salt for supper. Trying to get the mind right. At least I'm still working out. I hope (plan) to be more compliant today.
2/3 104.4 - Amazeballs, Motivation to eat healthy today just because of this number. #mindset Also, need to meal plan. OH, and I got a job offer and accepted it. Start date is Feb 12. YAY! SO relieved!
2/5 105.2 Now its time to workout. I did pretty good yesterday with eating clean and higher fat. Gonna nail it today!
2/7 104.0 Very pleased! Feeling mentally better as well as physically better than I did just 10days ago.3 -
Age - 63
Height - 5'-6"
Beginning weight - 250 lbs
Current - 190 lbs
Goal - 150 lbs
I'm starting a bit late but since I record my weight daily, I will catch up. I started my journey to a healthier life June 2017 when I was told I was pre-diabetic. So far I have lost 60 lbs and incorporated regular exercise into my day. So, here goes:
Day/Weight/Comment
01/28 - 193.8 / I eat about 1400 calories a day; best thing ever is the MFP food diary
01/29 - 192.6
01/30 - 191.8
01/31 - 190.6
02/01 - 190.0
02/02 - 190.0
02/03 - 190.2 Guess I should not have eaten that extra cup of Broccoli Cheddar soup last night before bed. But I did walk my daily 3 miles this morning.
02/04 - 190.0, Walked 3.3 miles this morning then did a little housework for exercise.
02/05 - 191.0, walked 4.3 miles, didn't eat badly but did indulge with a Turkey and Swiss panini. Will do better tomorrow.
02/06 - 190.0, walked again today for 4+ miles, took me an hour and half but was worth the time.
Thank you for this round (my first to participate in). I will be continuing my efforts in improving my health through activity and eating a healthier diet. Good luck to you all.2 -
These Challenges have brought my weight down to where I use to live (104-107). Love It!
Now to nail it down permanently.
Goal for Round 30: any number <107 lbs
Average weight for January was 106.9 (weighing daily)
Day/Weight/Comment
1/28 107.1
1/29 106.3
1/30 107.3 - my average weight for one week today is 107, so excited to move on to February with a new goal!
1/31 106.0 - Boom!
2/1 107.1 - that's okay, January average is still @ goal (extra sodium yesterday by combining pizza + cottage cheese + ranch dressing)
2/2 106.3 - February is going to be great!
2/3 106.4
2/4 107 - that's okay
2/5 107 - true weight is still under 107.
2/6 106.9 done3
