    R29 EW 138.6 (-1.6)
    UGW: 126
Goal: keep active and less salt
    Day/Weight/Comment
01/28 139.8lb absolutely stuffed myself on salty foods last night
01/29 138.2 had no appetite yesterday, was very busy. Weight sure to bounce back up again. As long as it’s not in the 140’s!
01/30 137.2 this is a nice surprise! Practiced last night, Sunday night we went out dancing for a couple hours.
01/31 137.8 got in yoga, a run, and some dancing yesterday but also ate a lot, including more salt and sugar than i should.
02/01 138 salt, why can’t I quit you? Going to dinner and a musical in another city tonight, so lots of sitting and sure to exceed food limits.
02/02 137.2 Early appointments this morning, then worked out with a fitness specialist, ran despite the weather, and practiced yoga for an hour. Was feeling great until I fainted and hit my head super hard. Should have drank more water before all the activity!
02/03 ?? honestly I forget my weight because never had time to record it. Went straight from work to ER where my husband was waiting for emergency appendectomy. Thank God he’s OK!
02/04 135.8 not a real loss: didn’t eat or drink yesterday in the ER. Hubby back home and recovering but we haven’t had hardly any sleep. Not exercising yet- I’m still sore from my fall. Oh the bumps and bruises
    02/05 135.8
02/06 137.4 stayed in the 130’s and lost a little, but definitely got off track. Looking forward to settling back into a healthy routine.

Very grateful for the support and encouragement from this amazing group.
See you all for Round 31!

    Day/Weight/Comment
01/28 142.7 (over on sodium- Mexican restaurant- estimated logging- 60 min. elliptical- ate back all or more)
01/29 141.4 (30 min elliptical, ate back all calories)
01/30 141.2 (11 min elliptical; Body Pump Class: ate back all calories)
01/31 142.9 (60 min elliptical; under calorie goal; higher sodium day, but not over)
02/01 143.2 (Body Pump Class; over by 20 calories-1220 net- slightly over on sodium- maybe TOM weight too?)
02/02 143.9 (50 min elliptical; at back most calories-weight gain is frustrating when in deficit- probably TOM)
02/03 143.1 (50 min elliptical; ate back all calories; still no TOM, but probably why weight jumped up this week)
02/04 144.5 (35 min elliptical; WAY over calories-like over 1000 over- TOM-gave in to serious cravings)
02/05 148.1 no exercise; no tracking; ate alot. So after about a month of almost daily exercise and netting 1200 calories my weight can go up by so much and so quickly. So do I have to net 1200 for life to not gain? Frustrated. I know it's water retention mostly, but I want to eat what I want ONCE IN A WHILE without worry. Twice now I've had weight swings of 7 pounds within the same 10 day challenge. Do I need a low sodium diet?
02/06 150.1 (Highest weight in a long time! no tracking , no exercise)

Gain of 7.4 pounds this round. Will drink lots of water and get back on track with logging, exercise, and drinking water. This has to be mostly water because though I ate a lot, it's was only 3 days of eating over a 1200 calorie net

No, you don't have to live on 1200 calories a day for life. I've been able to maintain under 115 lbs eating 1500 calories a day on average. I know it can be frustrating, but what I like to remind myself is that it's about the daily seemingly unimportant decisions. But consistently making them everyday is what leads to success.

    5’0” 47yo female. Sw-106 Gw 103.2

    Day/Weight/Comment
01/28; 106.0 - My Birthday - Didn't weigh in, had buffet lunch and spent the day riding in the car to/from grandmas. I have my meals planned for 1/29 and this board will help me stay accountable.
01/29: 107.0 - I mean, I didn't want this number, but it is what it is and it reflects what I've been doing. eating too much crap, not focused and just beating myself up mentally. I'm ready for that to change. I want tomorrows number to be better. Surprising enough, last week I had a 104.6 number...so I know this is feasible for this challenge. Goal tomorrow is to be 106.x

1/30: 105.4 - Woosh, there it is. High Fat yesterday, and the scale showed it. I will keep high fat again today as I just loved how it made me feel, satiated and not craving.

1/31: 103.8 - Day 2 of intermittent fasting. Today I did One 4 hour eating window and wow, look at the results. My last meal was finished at 1230pm, so technically, If I'm not hungry, I can maybe make this an entire 24hour fast. I love the number on the scale. I'm in disbelief at how well checking in with this group has made me focus. I honestly expected this weight on day 10 instead of day 4. Macros ; Fat:55% Carb:25% Protein:15%

2/1: 105.2 - Carb day yesterday, arund 130g so, i'm not shocked by this. Its still less then before and gives me motivation to do well today with Keto style eating and keeping carbs to a minimum. #noBarsTodayPeeps
2/2: 105.8 - Still had around 130g carbs yesterday. I really didn't want to get on the scale. Also had chicken tenders with plenty of salt for supper. Trying to get the mind right. At least I'm still working out. I hope (plan) to be more compliant today.

2/3 104.4 - Amazeballs, Motivation to eat healthy today just because of this number. #mindset Also, need to meal plan. OH, and I got a job offer and accepted it. Start date is Feb 12. YAY! SO relieved!

2/5 105.2 Now its time to workout. I did pretty good yesterday with eating clean and higher fat. Gonna nail it today!

2/7 104.0 Very pleased! Feeling mentally better as well as physically better than I did just 10days ago.

    Age - 63
    Height - 5'-6"
    Beginning weight - 250 lbs
    Current - 190 lbs
    Goal - 150 lbs

I'm starting a bit late but since I record my weight daily, I will catch up. I started my journey to a healthier life June 2017 when I was told I was pre-diabetic. So far I have lost 60 lbs and incorporated regular exercise into my day. So, here goes:

    Day/Weight/Comment
01/28 - 193.8 / I eat about 1400 calories a day; best thing ever is the MFP food diary
    01/29 - 192.6
    01/30 - 191.8
    01/31 - 190.6
    02/01 - 190.0
    02/02 - 190.0
02/03 - 190.2 Guess I should not have eaten that extra cup of Broccoli Cheddar soup last night before bed. But I did walk my daily 3 miles this morning.
02/04 - 190.0, Walked 3.3 miles this morning then did a little housework for exercise.
02/05 - 191.0, walked 4.3 miles, didn't eat badly but did indulge with a Turkey and Swiss panini. Will do better tomorrow.
02/06 - 190.0, walked again today for 4+ miles, took me an hour and half but was worth the time.

Thank you for this round (my first to participate in). I will be continuing my efforts in improving my health through activity and eating a healthier diet. Good luck to you all.

These Challenges have brought my weight down to where I use to live (104-107). Love It!
Now to nail it down permanently.
Goal for Round 30: any number <107 lbs
Average weight for January was 106.9 (weighing daily)

    Day/Weight/Comment
    1/28 107.1
    1/29 106.3
1/30 107.3 - my average weight for one week today is 107, so excited to move on to February with a new goal!
    1/31 106.0 - Boom!
2/1 107.1 - that's okay, January average is still @ goal (extra sodium yesterday by combining pizza + cottage cheese + ranch dressing)
2/2 106.3 - February is going to be great!
    2/3 106.4
    2/4 107 - that's okay
    2/5 107 - true weight is still under 107.
    2/6 106.9 done

To those of you who want to continue in the next round and don’t know where it is - go to the search function and type “just give me” without the quotes and search. It should bring up the new round. See you all in Round 31!!

@DStan304 Just curious, why would you lose your job if you were Glueten intollerant?

    @SherryRueter
If your allergic to gluten you're not allowed to be in the military. In reality it comes down to deployments and traveling. During those times I would be struggling to mantain the appropriate diet, especially during deployments where they cook all of the food. Knowing my son is and I have the same symptoms. I'm willing to bet that I am as well. However I'm going just to tolerate the misery until I can retire. I've always wanted to do this and I'm not about to let my body stop me from my dreams.
