2/17: 158 lbs: I took a HIIT Burn Carb Cycling quiz to boost my metabolism. I may try it out if my weight continues to maintain no matter what I do instead of losing any.
2/18: 158.2 lbs: Stayed within my calories but spent the day vegging and shopping. I loathe shopping, but my pants were HUGE and my underwear is falling off. Lol
2/19: 157.2 lbs: 2 oz. away from a 45 lb. loss. I so badly want to get there.
2/20 156.8 Woo Hoo!!!! I am now at a 45.2 lb loss. I am so thrilled. I did decide to try the HIIT Burn Carb Cycling, so let's see if it works.
2/21: 157.2 Yesterday was my high carb day, and since I worked late, I decided to go out to dinner with my family, and I had 3 taco supremes from Taco Bell. IT WAS YUMMY! Now back to 3 days of low(er) carb.
2/22: 157.8 It was another late night because of Freshman Orientation for my oldest son. I was bad. I didn't do a low carb or low sodium dinner. However, I was still within my carbs because of what I ate all day. My sodium....not so much.
2/23: 157.2 I need to push the fluids. I was under by a ton yesterday.
2/24: 156.6 My lowest point yet! YIPPEE!!!! Have my niece and nephew over all weekend, so their parents could have a weekend getaway. So 5 kids altogether with my own. One night down. One to go.
2/25: 155.8 Hit another new low!!!! I'm so thrilled. I am also thrilled that I survived the second night with my houseful of kids.

@enlightenme2 I am horrible at drinking as much as I should. I was well under liquids yesterday, but I felt like I was going to puke from pushing fluids.
@mamabear10717 I really struggled with seeing the daily fluctuations too. I actually pushed myself BEYOND what I should have and ended up at the ER from heat stroke because the jump ups made me so upset. I've learned that my sodium intake, my carb intake, my water intake, hormones, they can make it fluctuate. So, I can deal now. Our bodies have a mind of their own.

02/18: 136.0 - This might be ovulation water weight? Not sure.
02/19: 136.4 - I was feeling stressed yesterday and made a conscious decision to eat at maintenance. I don’t think it really helped, since I still felt hungry.
02/20: 136.8 - Ate great yesterday. I really think this is ovulation, I got acne popping up now, too.
02/21: 136.6 - oops, forgot to weigh until after breakfast!
02/22: 134.8 - my depression made a reappearance yesterday and I overate. Still feeling it today; so far don’t really want to eat.

02/21 I didn't want to wait 5 more days for the next round. So starting today. Weight 188.8 lbs. blood sugar: 271 Today is a zero carb day to bring down the blood sugar.
02/22 190 lbs. eat super clean yesterday. Dont know why the weight gain. Have to see what happens tomorrow. blood sugar 267. didn't come down either.
02/23 189.8 lb. Yesterday was a tough day. Eat out with friends. Once got home wanted to binge so badly. Ended up having two pieces of sugar free chocolate. Not too bad overall. Start counting steps today.

02/25 187.8 lb. blood sugar 200. 15000 steps. Went a bit over on both cals and carbs. It looks like adding exercise works.

2/19 - 152.2 - likely just some water weight. Didn’t drink much yesterday! Pretty good day yesterday, higher on calories than I like, but super low on carbs. I did get in lots of steps, weight lifting and yoga!
2/20 - 152.2 - another good day. Nice and low carbs but still a little high overall on calories. I'm going to modify a bit and try to cut back on calories. Slow but sure wins the race!
2/21 - 153.0 - water weight? At least my pants are fitting a little better!!! Yesterday was a good day! Even did some weight lifting!

02/17 - 64.1kg - I've been sitting at this for a few days, hoping to see a shift this round down into the 63s...
02/18 - 64.7 kg (+0.8kg)- date night last night, high carb, high sodium dinner and no water!
02/19 - 64.3kg (-0.4kg) - Went over my calories but ate mindfully. Water was down as I was out of the house all day. Back to intermittent fasting this week working towards my mini-goal.
02/20 - 64.1kg (-0.2kg) - Grrrrrr. One day of being properly back on track and I haven't made goal weight yet. How infuriating Jokes aside, I was a little miffed not to be under 64kg. Maybe tomorrow?
02/21 - 63.9kg (-0.2kg) - Yay! I weighed myself twice this morning, who knows why (I do, I did a poo and I was curious, keep it real folks) and this is the higher of the two weigh-ins hahaha. Celebrating being back to a 63 number and still working hard for that mini-goal.
02/22 - 63.5kg (-0.4kg) - almost at my mini-goal. Very exciting times. I've got a big weekend of dining out and drinking so I am going to have to use all my smarts and willpower to get to 63.25 and stay there for Monday. Ending a round on a Monday seems extra harsh to me
02/23 - 63.9kg (+0.4kg) - Ugh. Under calories all week, got a walk in yesterday and have been drinking my 2L of water each day. Ate dinner at 9:30pm after getting in from an appointment so I assume it's just a big lump of food sitting in my tummy. On wards and downwards!

2/18 108.1 lbs (slowly climbing past 10 days with Calories ~ 1700 per day). When I restrict successfully down to 1500 Calories I lose too fast and am too hungry. Going to test out 1600 over these 10 days and see where I land (with normal exercise).

02/12: 153.5 Another rest day at home...best medicine! Scale heading back up as my appetite returns, and I am totally fine with this. Net calories / sodium / protein / sugar good, fiber low & 12c water. Fitbit 4,543 steps, 250+ steps 6/14 hours & 5 floors.
02/13: 153.0 Feeling almost normal / I miss feeling good all day long / know it will come. Net calories red 149, sugar red (mostly fruit), sodium & protein good, fiber ok & 15c water. Fitbit 7,986 steps, 250+ steps 13/14 hours & 29 floors.

Today at my annual physical, Dr. B was very happy about my weight loss, and even congratulated me!

02/18: 155.5 Oops! Pizza for supper & no regrets! Net calories red > 800, sugar red & sodium red >2,000...ack!!! Protein & fiber ok & 12c water. Walked dog 3.08 miles before snow again covered icy patches / 51:09 & happy dog. Fitbit 12,859 steps, 250+ steps 8/14 hours & 21 floors.
02/19: 155.5 Sunday was a rest day / grocery shopped before icy travel arrives Mon. Fitbit 8,528 steps, 250+ steps 12/14 hours & 14 floors. Net calories & sugar red, sodium & protein good, fiber ok & 12c water (should've been more).
02/20: 155.5 My sweet tooth bit me. Net calories, sodium & sugar red, fiber / protein good & 14c water. Treadmill 3 miles before work / 50:41 & stretched. Fitbit 13,603 steps, 250+ steps 14/14 (boom!) hours & 36 floors.
02/21: 155.5 Net calories on target until hubby & I got home from theatre, and I dipped into peanut butter jar and walnut halves...ack!!! Glad weigh-in isn't worse. Red net calories, sodium & sugar, at least protein & fiber good & 15c water. Treadmill 3 mi before work / 50:06. Fitbit 16,534 steps, 250+ steps 12/14 hours (took advantage of 2-hr delay at work due to ice storm, and stayed in bed) & 33 floors.
02/22: 155.5 Guesstimated soup supper food / snacked way too much on walnut halves (again). LIttle out of control this week / ack!!! Net calories, sodium & sugar red, protein & fiber good & 13c water. Fitbit 9.807 steps, 250+ steps 12/14 (rest day / Lent service) & 29 floors.
02/23: 155.0 Better day on track / didn't open bag of walnuts / net calories red 110, sugar red, sodium/protein/fiber good & 16c water. Workplace hike 1.5 mi. at lunchtime. Fitbit 13,310 steps, 250+ steps 13/14 hours & 31 floors.
02/24: 154.0 Very surprised bc net calories red, even quit logging during snack attack in evening. At least I drank 15c water. Fitbit 7,450 steps, 250+ steps 13/14 hours & 29 floors.
02/25: 155.0 Expected / belated Valentine's dinner with hubby at Red Lobster / logged everything, including 2 cheddar biscuits & dessert we shared. Totally worth it! Fortunately, I ate late breakfast, snack after dog walk, and no lunch, so that limited the damage. In the past, I would've eaten lunch too (oh my!), plus ordered an adult beverage. Net calories -1,138 (ack!) / sodium -2,011 (double ack!!!) / sugar -11. Fiber so-so, protein excellent & 12c water (not counting iced tea unsweet). Walked dog 3.55 miles / 1:01 / happy dog & happy me. Fitbit 11,771 steps, 250+ steps 6/14 hours (watched Olympics / dinner w/ hubby) & 24 floors.

The key to weight loss is to never feel like you’re on a diet, because diets don’t work. If you feel deprived, you will never make it past a few weeks. The only way to achieve long-term weight loss is to learn to appreciate food as fuel and slowly replace processed food that cannot properly energize the body with real food that can. 17: 219.6 Not concerned about the increase. Way to much sodium yesterday. Corned beef is SOOO good though. I'm heading out for a 60 minute walk now and will focus on reaching my 100oz water goal today.
18: 219.7 Water, calories, macros, sodium, exercise were all on point yesterday. Count down to TOM includes little gains daily. Then, as long as I stay motivated and on track through a few days of cravings and actual increased hunger, there'll be a nice drop, releasing the little gains plus some.
19: 218.8... That's a pleasant surprise. No TOM yet. Managed a 15 calorie deficit, even having pizza for supper. 108oz of water. No exercise. I don't have high BP, but it does get checked everyday. I'm noticing that it's lowering as I consistently meet my 100oz water goal.
20: 218.9... Yesterday was a REALLY good day! 100+oz of water. 2 hour walk. 180 calories deficit before considering exercise. With exercise, I had well over 1,000 calorie deficit. Macros were on point. Sodium was slightly over, but not by much. I'm thinking my water intake counteracts that, at least somewhat. Got on my yoga mat too, which felt great, and I felt strong the rest of the day. However, in the afternoon I ended up tweaking my knee. I may have to skip my walk today. We're going skiing on Thursday with my kids' school, so I'm hoping it'll be recovered by then. Knees can be slow though, so I'm not banking on being able to participate. We'll see.
21: 217.9... No exercise yesterday. Food and water were good. We were out of town late yesterday afternonn for an appointment and needed to dine out. The kids wanted fast food, but I let them know that Subway would be the only option because I want to eat healthy. I walked in having already logged what I planned to order. I was soooo close to changing my mind when I saw their pulled pork special, but I reminded myself how good I've been doing. Ended with about an 80 calorie deficit.
22: 217.4... Moderate exercise yesterday. First day of TOM. I did make it out to ski today, and my knee is feeling ok so far. Less than a pound to reach my round goal!
23: 218.4... Between TOM symptoms and my attempts at skiing yesterday a I'm not surprised by the increase. Need to wear my CamelBak next time, so I can stay more hydrated though the day instead of catching up on water intake afterwards. I'm really proud of myself for sticking to my food plan. There have been a lot of days where cheating would have been a much easier choice, and I'm feeling stronger each time I choose my health. Today is my birthday, and I haven't been tempted at all. We might go out to eat, but I'm not feeling the urge to throw my hard work away with one overindulgent meal. I intend to enjoy the meal and stick to my plan.
24: 219.2...I thought I did really well yesterday, and I guess I did considering it was my birthday. No exercise, and I stayed within calories. Even my carbs and sodium were pretty good. Drank plenty of water. My Halo Top Birthday Cake ice cream was eaten a bit too late in the evening, so maybe that contributed to the increase. Guess we'll see what tomorrow brings.
