Trying to get in shape for a Hawaii vacation in June.
I have tried so many different diets and they all work for a feed weeks- seems like it’s best to just go back to calorie counting and good ole exercise.
I work out with a trainer in a small group twice a week, but you can’t out exercise a bad diet!1 -

Yay!! I'm on my way! I'll turn 60 during my 19th week, and intend to be 132 by then. I haven't been that in 16 years (since I married my wonderful husband).
I am eating 1200 calories a day, and will begin exercising this week additionally.

I'm pretty new to MFP. Just signed up in the last two weeks. I just stumbled across this thread. I'll join in!
Male, early 50s, just barely shy of 5'7".
I happened to hop on the scale on February 9 when this challenge started. Weight was 158 -- down from about 168 at the beginning of the year. My goal weight was originally 151 by late May. I revised it this week, and I'd like to get down to 148. The reality is I want to be in a range of 148 - 152 long term. Starting in February, J'm only looking to lose ten more pounds. I won't actually be looking to lose 20 pounds in 20 weeks.
I've averaged 0.9 pounds per week since February 9 (1.4 pounds per week since the beginning of the year). This morning was at just under 154 after bouncing around back and forth between 154 and 157 the last ten days. I'm planning to slow my weight loss goal down closer to 0.5 pounds per week for the last troublesome five or six pounds. Not exactly a pound-a-week for 20 weeks unless you start in early January, but if that's ok, I'm in.3 -
