3/9 – 229.6. I’m good with this number.
3/10 – 228.2 before breakfast. Round 34 looking good so far!
3/11 – 226.2 this morning
3/12 – 227.6 before breakfast. Made every excuse not to go to the gym this weekend so I’m not surprised at this.
3/13 – 227 in the morning. Finally made it to the gym last night!
3/14 – 226.8 before breakfast. Forced myself to drink a bottle of water before I left the house just to start the day right!
3/15 – 227.4 this morning. A brutal reminder that just because I didn’t write it down doesn’t mean that I didn’t eat it. Made it to the gym last night tho so I got that going for me, which is good.
3/16 – 228.6. I’d be lying if I said I didn’t know where this came from. It came from overeating. Instead of focusing on the fact that I did that, I will focus on the good things yesterday – I took a nice long walk and got my water in!
3/17 – 228.2. Here’s hoping the numbers continue in this direction! I’m back in control!
3/18 – 226.8 this morning. Alright! Just squeaked in under my goal for this round!7 -

3/11: --Took a break away from the scales while I went through a round of meds. Will weigh in the morning to see the damage.
3/12: 217.2 Not good at all, but not as bad as I thought. Cleared to do light exercise again---so, I'll be back at it this evening.
3/13: 216.8
3/14: 215.6---back in the groove with cardio, strength training and WATER. When I'm not working out and sitting around idle I drink next to nothing (besides my coffee ).
3/15: 215.4
3/16: 214.6--weighed after being in the yard working for 2 hours (even though I was drinking water). Will not be surprised if I weigh more in the morning.
3/17: 215--I called it, and eating pizza for dinner didn't help.

3/9 - 149.8
Okie dokie. I am eating better day by day as we get almost settled in, but still a lot of restaurant food, so sodium.
3/10 - 150.2
Sigh. But still eating out (we'll get to the grocery one of these days! House hunting has been all-consuming). I am mostly watching what I order better, but we had Italian last night and I always retain water after to many carbs. Tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow.
3/11 - 149.6
That's better. Feeling much more in control.
3/12 - 150.2
Gaaa. I did not overeat yesterday, but I think this is still sodium, and will be for another few days. I'm trying to remain calm about it, and see the past 3 weeks and (probably) the next as a metabolism reset pending eating & exercise getting back to normal. My clothes still fit!
3/13 - 150.4
Right. I've eaten fewer calories the past couple of days and I'm up a little. Delayed reaction? I dunno. Not happy but not panicking yet. Sigh.
3/14 - 151.6
Whaaaaa??? Makes no sense unless very delayed reaction. Oh, well. Today's our 26th wedding anniversary, so I'm eating whatever I want. Then back at it.
3/15 - 150
That's better. And again, delayed, I think, since I ate over cals yesterday and had apple pie a la mode for dinner. I mean, it was Pi Day! If I can drop one more pound by the end of this round, I'll be happy. But even now, I don't feel too bad about the +3.2 lbs in 4 stressful weeks of travel, moving, house hunting, and mostly restaurant food.
3/16 - 150
Day by day I'm eating better. Still spending too much time in the car - house hunting. Gaaaa!
3/17 - 150
We finally restocked the larder this morning, so I expect to lose a lot of H2O in the next few days. Who knew that getting yo eat at home would sound so good?
3/18 - 149
Okay, not quite back to my pre-move weight of 146.8, but I'm finally headed in the right direction again and eating better. It's a beautiful day, and I'm going for a nice LONG walk. On to R35! See you there!

One of the keys to long-term and sustainable weight loss is to cut total calorie intake, and there’s no better way to do that than by eating just a little bit less of what you currently eat. Once you get into a habit of reducing portions—especially of sugary, fatty and other nutrient-poor foods—you can fine tune your diet to incorporate more nutrient-rich foods. But paring portions is still the best first step. — Elisa Zied, MS, RDN, CDN, author of Younger Next Week5 -

But I am going to complete this round. I will!! I'm tired of bouncing back and forth with my weight. I want to see a steady decrease. I want to be better. My son is 15 months old and I want to be able to set a better example for him when it comes to health. I can do it. I will do it!

3/9 - 225lbs - Yay! I like that as a start. It might be back up tomorrow, though. My dad came to visit us and we went out to dinner to a place that had a very limited menu. I got a chicken sandwich, but didn't realize it was fried until it came out... I cut it in half, though, and substitutes fries for veggies!
3/10 - 226lbs. Yep. Not at all surprised thanks to last night's dinner. But I've done well today, so hopefully that'll reflect in tomorrow's number.
3/11 - 224.4lbs. Alright! Back down! I'm happy to see that. I keep looking through these before and after transformation photos and all I can think is I really want to be able to share my own some day... Just gotta keep working at it!
3/12 - 225lbs. I wasn't totally on track yesterday, so that's not a surprise. I just need to do better. More consistent.
3/13 - 223.8lbs. Woo, back down! I wasn't totally on my game diet wise today, but I did take a long walk so I got a fair amount of steps.
3/14 - 226lbs. I didn't want to report this. I really thought about leaving it alone. But I am on this journey to be open and honest with my health, so here we are. I overate yesterday. For sure. This isn't a surprising number. But today I resisted the temptation to go out and buy snacks so that I could overeat more. Instead, I stayed home and cooked chicken breasts and asparagus.
3/15 - 224.4lbs. I felt like I did a pretty good job yesterday with diet, which reflected well on the scale. But I did overeat a little today. I really need to get better with that...
3/16 - 225.2lbs. Well. Yep. The overeating gets me. I just have a really hard time fighting it. It's just tough when I'm still job searching and spend the majority of my time home alone. I overeat when I'm bored. But today I spent 5 hours outside building a deck! My husband and I are building a ground level deck ourselves and while he was at work today, I spent my time working on it, so I feel like I burned a good amount of calories!!
3/17 - 226lbs. Man, this week has been fluctuating so much. I kept pretty active today, though. Worked more on our deck and went for a good walk in the park since it was such a nice day.
3/18 - 226.4lbs. I would have liked to end this on a bigger weight loss, but I know I wasn't as consistent as I needed to be this week. I still did a good deal of overeating. But my husband and I had a long talk about our bad eating habits last night and talked about how we need to be supporting each other better. So I'm looking forward to the next ten days. And I'm proud of myself for following through and finishing this round.

3/9 = 206.6 (-1.0). Good start, but this little whoosh just gets me back to zero. It officially took me 6 days to recover completely from last Saturday's 4.0 lb gain, but it finally happened. This was my normal pattern before this challenge. I need to remember how long it takes me to recover from a bad day, even a bad meal (6 days, apparently). That all being said, I'm energized. My knee feels great this morning without pain killers. I'm going to the gym tomorrow (need to rest one more day after my cortisone injection), and I'll get in my weights and my HIIT. It feels SO GOOD to be back down to zero. I'm going to destroy this weekend. No eating out. Everything planned. I might even cook. No wifey temptations, because she's in SF with her sister and friend.
3/10 = 207.8 (+1.2). LOL. Can't blame my wife for the Na+ bomb(s) I consumed yesterday. Ate within calories, but was 50% over in my salt intake. Another weird thing... it was REALLY HARD to get any water down yesterday. I ended up drinking about 100 ounces, but I had to force it down more or less, and drinking water is usually not a problem for me at all. Good news is there MAY be basketball today that I wasn't expecting (I'll find out in an hour or so). Either way I'm hitting the gym, and I'm going to make it a good day eating. Knee is still feeling good; we'll see how I feel AFTER the gym. Can missing my wife cause me to gain weight?
3/11 = 208.0 (+0.2). Basketball happened. I was more than 1300 calories below maintenance. I drank a crap load of water. The scale doesn't care! It's one weigh-in, and I'm not supposed to let one weigh-in bother me. But IT BOTHERS ME!!! And yet, as I say this, I have to acknowledge that I had 580 calories of junky sweet deliciousness yesterday, and a bunch of damned Na+. Under calories yes, but was it a healthy day? Not really. I really do miss my wife.
3/12 = 207.4 (-0.6). I did well yesterday. I ate within calories, hit my macros, had a ton of water, and was under on sodium. My dinner (that wife pre-bought) was half good, half bad (chicken with rice, but the rice was REALLY salty). For the first time in I don't know how long, I actually chose to throw away my food. I tossed 80% of my rice, and it felt great. My wife is coming home tonight. I missed her a bunch, and I learned that her being gone was not a magic weight loss elixir (which I'm actually happy about). There may be basketball again tonight; if there is I'll hit the gym, if not I'll hit the gym tomorrow.
3/13 = 208.8 (+1.4). My wife is back, and I had a cheat meal with her last night (burger from my favorite place). I was only about 200 calories over maintenance, but it's never simple when it comes to cheat meals. It was amazing, and I'm going to own it. Gym tonight, and I'm going to be do weights and HIIT. Not going to beat myself up. Plus it's only 1.4 lbs (not 4!). I'm okay. Plenty of time to turn this challenge around.
3/14 = 206.0 (-2.8). WHOOSH™. This is what keeps me coming back... knowing that this can happen at any moment, as long as I'm being accountable and generally sticking to my goals. I didn't even make it to the gym last night (raining and I ride a motorcycle). This is a new low for me since coming back to MFP, and I'm NOT going to celebrate in any way! I'll try hitting the gym again tonight (can borrow my wife's car). I also have basketball on Thursday and Saturday, so I should be able to finish off this challenge STRONG!
3/15 = 206.2 (+0.2). I had a high calorie day (200 calories over maintenance, estimated), but I ate SO HEALTHY (except for my dessert, but even that was okay). It was a day that helped me imagine what life could be like when I finally hit my final goal (whatever that might be) and I'm just chilling at maintenance. For dinner I had this fantastic superfood vegetarian salad that I NEVER would have craved before now, but that was my choice last night. I knew it would put me over calories, but that's where I'm recognizing another paradigm shift in me. It's more than okay for me to eat really good (healthy) food whenever it's available, especially if I'm craving it. I thought about not eating dinner last night (I would have been under calories), but I chose my salad instead. It felt so clearly like the right choice. Basketball tonight, and lifting weights.
3/16 = 204.0 (-2.2). WHOOSH™ again! It's the day after lifting weights and basketball, but as I get closer to my goal weight I should eventually stop seeing big numbers like this. I'm not "celebrating," but I'm going to take a moment to enjoy this so I can remember it when I get to my next plateau. I ate well yesterday, drank lots of water, and stayed under calories (didn't eat back most of my exercise calories, either). I had a tiny dessert, which cleared out the cupboard regarding candy/cookies my wife bought me when she went to San Francisco last weekend. We'll see if this number sticks in the morning, and for the weekend. I'm happy to shoot for maintaining my challenge goal (205.0) at this point. Basketball and lifting weights again tomorrow. Going to mix up my leg workout a bit. 9 lbs from "ultimate goal weight" (but we'll see how I feel when I get there... I'm feeling motivated to take this as far as it needs to go).
3/17 = 204.4 (+0.4). Tiny gain is not an issue. I ate healthy yesterday with a small deficit. Started using a step tracker for funzies and I have it sending my step calories here to MFP (it makes me walk more). Lifted weights this morning, played basketball, and felt pretty good (better than Thursday). One of my friends told me he hoped I'd be easier to push around as I'm losing weight, but he said I'm getting stronger. That made me smile. Going to a 2-year-old's birthday party this afternoon, and I'm going try my best to be mindful. My friend can not only cook, but he brews his own beer, and it's amazing. I'm glad I got to play basketball today to make this afternoon easier to deal with. I'm going to try not to eat back more than 50% of my exercise calories.
3/18 = 206.6 (+2.2). I actually did okay yesterday, despite the scale. I would like to have ended on my number from 2 days ago, but I'm noticing something changing inside me. I previously would have starved myself the day after a splurge to "make up for it," or the day before a weigh-in to get a better result. But now I'm seeing the bigger picture in a way that I haven't before. I know now that I'm better off at any moment by making a good choice, or at least stopping the bleeding, than I would be if I did something unhealthy in order to make myself look better (like lie about a weigh-in or starve myself).Today my number is okay. As I weighed myself this morning I knew my average weight for this challenge is pretty great, and that I've been doing well consistently for the past few months. I ate back almost all of my exercise calories at the party last night, and I'm sure my Na+ was terrible, but I was just about as controlled as I could be. I was also a little light on water, at least for an exercise day. I'm literally not angry with myself for last night. On to the next challenge!

Day/Weight/Comment
3/09 - 62.7kg (-0.3kg) - Really happy with my nutrition over this last week. More of the same today. Plan for the weekend is to stick to my light lunches both Saturday and Sunday and avoid the bread basket at my mother-in-laws on Sunday night! I'm also going to go alcohol-free this weekend as it really blew out my numbers last round and I spent the rest of the week regretting it.
3/10 - 62.6kg (-0.1kg) - Maintained the drop, that's good.
This is my lowest weight in my adult life. I saw this number at the end of last year and again in the middle of last round before TOM. Here's hoping to push past it. Onward and downward! (Confession time: I had half a glass of red wine last night, so much for alcohol free)
3/11- 62.8kg (+0.2kg) - Slightly suspicious of this number. I suspect I'll be up tomorrow too. Went to the movies, enjoyed some popcorn, had a take away for dinner and some of my partner's Easter egg. Anyway, not complaining about that little blip as my weekend bump up! Yay!
3/12 - 62.6kg (-0.2kg) - It's Monday and the weekend weight is gone already! This never happens so I am suspicious but happy. Meals prepped for the work, weather looking ok for a few walks - looking to be a good week!
3/13 - 62.3kg (-0.3kg)- Hooray! I've been pretty consistent and focused. Went for a walk yesterday even though I didn't want to. Getting about 3L of water a day. All going to plan, I am hoping to make my goal by Thursday
3/14 - 61.9kg (-0.4kg) - Holy poop! I was not expecting another whoosh this round. I'm now under my goal weight for this round but am going to leave it at 62kg as I expect hormones and a Saturday night party to provide a little bump before Sunday. Yesterday - Under cals, 3L water, mostly eating protein, fruit and vegetables. It appears it's working!
3/15 - 61.8kg (-0.1kg) - The whoosh stuck, yay! On target with my calories, getting all my water in. Not at work tomorrow but am going to plan my food in advance and stick to it - I usually struggle without my week day routine.
3/16 - 61.6kg (-0.2kg) - down down down so I'm a couple of kilos away from my ultimate goal weight and today I have decided that I'm going shopping and I'm going to treat myself. I'm going to buy a couple of things I've been wanting to wear but have avoided my whole life: a bodycon dress, some (slightly) cropped tops and a nice belt to show off with my high waisted jeans. All things I have avoided FOREVER because of my tummy. This feels like an important day for me. Thank you all so much for all your support, I couldn't have gotten to this point without these challenges!
3/17 - 61.4kg (-0.2kg) - Wow, what a round, a loss 8 out of 9 days so far!
I have a party tonight and I know the food is going to be AMAZING so expecting a bump tomorrow. ^^^ Shopping trip was a great success Thank you all for you kind messages xxx
3/18 - 62.6kg (+1.2kg) - I knew this weigh in was not going to be pretty. When I stepped on the scale I could even see how swollen my feet were. Went a little crazy on the carbs last night. Having a more relaxed logging day today and pasta for dinner. Back at it again tomorrow! It was a great round!

Goal for this round:
Lose 2.5 lbs (167.3).
No tracking of weight/calories 3/10 & 3/11 (travelling)
1200-1400 calories a day
Take daily vitamin
Date - Weight - Update
3/9 - 169.8 (ate a little over 1400 last night but maintained from day before) Today going well.
3/10 - travelling so no weigh-in or calorie tracker, took vitamin
3/11- travelling so no weigh-in or calorie tracker, took vitamin
3/12 - 172, took vitamin
3/13 -172.8 wrong direction (ate under calories yesterday, think gain is hormonal water weight) ate under calories and walked on treadmill, took vitamin
3/14 - 170.6 took vitamin, under calories
3/15 -170 took vitamin, hoping tomorrow gets me back down around the weight I started the round with... or lower. Ate over by about 150 calories.
3/16 -169 probably won't make goal for the round, but hope to drop next couple days as hormones flatten out. Ate within calorie range, had vitamin.
3/17 - 169.6 Last night, my husband invited me to have a late night beer with him, so hoping the little weight bump is related to the sodium and water weight that will come off by tomorrow. Today is going to be a casual day capped by watching our local hockey team play. I don't foresee any issues with eating today. Plan on some treadmill action. Not planning on having any drinks today so we'll see what tomorrow brings. (Current weight is still a little loss from where I started.)
3/18 - 171 - oh well. Did half an hour of treadmill running/walking, ate Mexican and weight raised. Considering that my "current weight" was the lowest it had been in a while, I think staying around that is good. Hopefully see some movement in the next round. Took vitamins.

Previous Round 333/4 SW=361.8 *Bought a new digital scale, set up my Samsung Health. Came in under budget on call. Super excited to finally get off the plateau.
3/5 SW=359.3 *Walked .8 of a mile today went to the park and back. 2nd day in a row I came in under my calories budget.
3/6 SW=358.0 *So today is kind of a big day, I'm joining a diet bet game; for my chance at winning some $$ on my weight-loss journey. So here's to more exercise and staying under my calories budget
3/7 SW=355.2 *So yesterday I walk the dog to the park again and realized I wanna do that every day and slowly increase my walking distance. Yesterday calorie budget didn't get broke but I ended up eating my full budget. I followed this amazing recipe called Italian sausage white bean soup from cook smart meal plan. I made 6 servings yesterday @293cal a serving with extra broth and I grabbed 2 serving yesterday.
3/8 SW=354.4 *So grand total LW=7.4lbs yesterday I didn't get a chance to walk to the park, as I was gone visiting family out of town. We got back home at like 8:30 then I rushed around the make Baked chicken parmesan it was a super delight, I made a total of 9 servings 5 servings of chicken and 4 servings of eggplant..yum yum yum and @170 cal a serving you know it is got me both a chicken and eggplant. And still didn't break my calories budget still had like 345 call left over. I think this weight loss journey is gonna be yummy!! In my tummy.I can't wait to round 34 of this whole just give me 10 days.
Round 34
3/9 SW=352.2 * So last round I had a weight loss of ?? ( wanna know read my spoiler-Muahahahaha) I really liked the 10-day challenge even though I didn't get in on the whole 10 days, but this one I will be. So last night I walked around the block it was the same distance as going to the park and back. Then for dinner, I made this very delish (with ideas for improvement for next time I cook it) Oven Baked Risotto with Mushrooms. Oh, and I landed a new job!! it's part-time $10 an hour but I'm not complaining. Its better than what I have now which is $0.
3/10 & 3/11=354.6 & 354.4 * So I'm going to post 2 days into one update. So on the 10th was my first full day at sitting as the Easter Bunny at the mall. Which to tell you all a secret ( I think half the time I might have been snoozing zzzzzzzzzzzzzz) Not because I was bored but here am, sitting in these insanely tight Bunny Bottoms size (LARGE) and here my (FLUFFY size 24) is squeezed inside them; every discomforting. Add a mix of it dark inside the head of the Bunny and for some reason maybe human design flaw but when I'm sitting for a while and nothing keeps my thought pattern going (This can be either light or dark setting) my brain will start going into sleep mood. Part of my job is "Bunnies can't talk"
Now Picture This Been sitting still and quiet, all is calm inside the Giant Bunny Head; so a yawn creeps up on you, next thing you know is you hear Oh, I think the Easter Bunny is tired which snap you out of this deeper than cat nap snooze. And you see a young girl waving and the mother whisper that to her. So now your brain is like Mister Easter Bunny *kitten* that me (Brain start waving) Ok they are waving and smiling and walking away. Good Whew!!! Then you start wondering Exactly how long, was your sleeping between the last wave and this wave it couldn't have been that long, NAH!!! we are good I'm gon Y-A-W-N stay awake this time
Or Picture This It was about an hour and a half after I became the Easter Bunny, It's time for a water break I can't drink too much while in suit beacuse then I'll have to pee and that would be bad cuz Remeber I'm stuffed into the pants So I'm being escorted to the hall way where I can take a breather and get some water to drink, so I'm barely walking cuz it's large bulk feet and too bulk pants and equally tight pants and WHAM!! out of now where there are 6-pint size minions grabbing your legs and all talking at one time "Hey mister Easter Bunny do you remember meeting me when I was 2?" "Are you going to bring the eggs to us this year at our new house?" "Where is your house Mister Easter Bunny?" "Can I tell you my Christmas List, You know Santa Don't you?" and all you can do is try NOT REPEAT NOT knock over little Sara or Jimmy and give a thumbs up because EASTER BUNNIES DON'T TALK
So that is how yesterday went, Oh and being the Easter Bunny will end up walking 2 miles each day. It's 1 mile to the mall where my job is then, of course, you got to walk the same 1 mile back home. Today is the 11th and I was off work Tomorrow I have to go to work at 9:45 am. Yes! I will more than likely bring home more funny tales of being the Easter Bunny tomorrow as well.
[P.s] yesterday stunt as Easter Bunny I realized that a lot of people just think that under the mask is a Male Human, I'm here to set things straight Females Humans can be bunnies too. Most of all of yesterday that what I Heard Mister Easter Bunny. Which I haven't had any kids yet but I think if I choose to teach them about the Easter bunny Highly Doubtful, as I'm Pagan but if I did I would them to know that girls can be Easter bunnies too.
3/12=351.6 *So yesterday I didn't have to go to work, and we had family over the weekend visiting. At the end of the night, Someone had brought in a leftover slice of pizza and 2 fried mushroom caps, which in turn became my dinner. So today being the Easter Bunny it was super busy until my break then it was like I could hear Crickets (Chirp Chirp). On the plus side, I was slightly way more comfortable than yesterday. Instead of pulling the bunny pants up all the way, I left the front part waistband under my big fluffy tummy role. I don't think I fell asleep any till after 1:30 pm when it got really slow. This whole week should be fast, it's spring break. Whelp!! That it for today, stay tuned for the tomorrow tale of Easter Bunny Stories.
3/13=353.2 *I seem to be hovering between 353 and 351 So yesterday lunch after I got home from work, was super yummy!! I made Maple-Dijon Panko Portobellos. Out of the 4 people that ate myself included all gave it a 4 out of 4 **** in case you didn't know **** is meant to be stars. I never really been a salad person, as I always thought they don't have any flavor or taste well the dressing I made for the side dish.I could have *LICKED THE BOWL CLEAN. Which each meal that I have been making from the meal planning website Meal Planning Website--Cook Smart comes with a side dish. And for $8 a month to get a pre-made shopping list and meals with sides and you can choose from different options such as Gulen Free and Vegetarian as well Oringal and Paleo it's a no-brainer. With my whole family giving me Rav Reviews. I guess we will find out as I have a fancy grilled cheese recipe planned for today. Which if you wanna know how that goes; you will just have to find my post and read about it.
3/14 & 3/15=353.6 & 353.8 * I think I may be stuck in the weight loss area!! So yesterday I walked half of my 2-mile walk for work. Then I took a left home as I volunteered to do a double shift so I could learn how to the sales part of being the whole Easter Bunny. So I took the lyft to the pawn shop and bought a bike and Lesson to be learned=Look at it good before buying It wasn't anything that couldn't be fixed. After the double shift, I came home to make our dinner for the evening. Which was a delish soup called Tom Kha Gai Soup. I didn't put the ginger or lemongrass stalks in it that it called for but out of the 2 other nightly dinner eaters they really loved the soup and you got the hint that it's supposed to a Thai soup flavor it had coconut milk in it as part of the broth. After the double shift, I did and standing up and cooking dinner my lower back would end up pinching my back and make my legs go numb. I slept deep and didn't want to wake up this morning. However, Mother Nature had other plans.
On This Episode of Easter Bunny Tales At this mall I work at, there is an indoor ice skating rink. So yes if you are wondering if someone falls, yes it makes a loud boom sound as people hit the ice. So here I sit as the Easter Bunny and I look over at the ice rink and see this group of 5 girls skating arm in arm. This can only end so badly!. Yep! you guess it sorta started out as the outer middle 4 girls going down. Followed by a slow-motion jerking stop of everyone as this happen girl 2 and 5 fell. So now so now 1 and 3 are half bent over trying not to fall. If you could see an image call to mind A domino chain reaction the first went down then the rest followed.
3/16 & 3/17=351.2 & 349.8 * Good Heavens!! on Soil this damn platue I'm on is about to drive me insane Well the good news is I finally fell off the cliff I was on from the platue of standstill weightloss. This last week I have been so far behind in posting daily. Mainly because I have been working as the Easter Bunny then life happens and it almost seems impossible to keep up with everything. So Thursday for lunch as everyone had to get ready to go to work that evening I made Jerk Chicken Thighs. To be honest I wasn't fond of the salad dressing for the salad but the chicken and rice and beans were freaking fantastic. I'm thinking about building me a pop-up bike camper to pull behind me on a bike and take off and go travel this summer, though this has been a dream for many moons and I still haven't followed it.So we will see. The good news is I don't have to work tomorrow so I'll be able to do a daily update on it.
3/18=349.0 *I'm glad to be off the platue I was on for the last few days Yesterday was a super bad day. Life handed me an F* You card and I ended up having a mini-meltdown crying all over the place for about 30mins. Which yeah I quit my job as Easter Bunny. Then I woke up today knowing even though I fell off keeping track of what I ate last night around dinner time was just a bad evening and today is a brand new day. Then I come here to post and I noticed today is the last of Round 34 Wow!! time flies. And sitting here know how the last 2 rounds of Just Give Me 10 Days has helped me. I think during the next round I'm gonna give backstory over my last 2yrs of weight loss; who knows maybe it will help someone else who is struggling. Whelp, suppose that is it. This round I only ended up loseing 3.2lbs, which is nothign to get sad about as it's still a loss.6 -
I completely stopped weighting myself started at 229.6 and ended at 231. Evil evil evil but I did it to myself. Maybe next round I will get it moving in the right direction.8

3/9 - 129.0 - yep sick, yesterday did no workout except steps, comfort-ate at work at lunch due to stress but managed to average it out over the day. Days like this happen, and one of the gifts of THIS thread is knowing that if I just deal with it and go on, I AM FINE.
3/10 - 128.8 - feeling a little better, ran a couple miles yesterday but over calories. Have to admit the anxiety and depression is getting ahead on me right now. If it weren't for THIS 10 DAYS THREAD I might have given up and started gaining again. (get to goal, don't feel better emotionally, say eff it, gain. That's the pattern I am breaking.)
3/11 - 128.2 new low - yesterday under calories, did planks, got my steps, and did "A Workout Routine" workout A. Back is sore but that's from the garden work. Feeling more able emotionally. "Bring the body and the mind will follow."
3/12 - 128.2 - yesterday under calories, ran 2.5 miles.
3/13 - 128.8 - yesterday over calories and no workout, but I got 10 hours of sleep which after the previous 3 hours night was badly needed! Not disturbed by bounce.
3/14 - 129.2 - yesterday under calories, "A Workout Routine" B with bands, a short row, and my steps (plus got 10 flights at work). Still completely unfazed by the bounce
3/15 - 128.6 - yesterday emo day, over calories, no workout. Oh, and sick, thought I had dodged that bullet but no.
3/16 - 128.0 - Yesterday just under calories, took it easy and look... a new low... laughing hard.
3/17 - 128.4 - yesterday around maintenance, no workout, early to bed.
3/18 - 129.8 - yesterday way over as I slipped up on quantity with my evening "snack" and munched a bunch over my limit. Headache all day and starting with one today too, meh. Stress over family has me down. BUT:

GW: 169 (Hit Normal BMI for 5’9”)
By 3/19, I’d like to be 179 or under.
3/9 - 179.4
3/10 - 179.2 (vest fit for first time, but couldn’t snap it after lunch! LOL #progress!)
3/11 - 179.6 (down 1.2 since a week ago, so I’m happy!) NSV: Exercised over 30 mins a day & burned over 500 “Active calories a day for the past week. Focusing on fitness throughout my day more now!)
3/13 - 178.8. - down 25.0 lbs in 25 weeks - just what I hoped for! Down 2 lbs since 3/4 - a plateau is certainly coming!! If not an uptick lol
#SillyWeightLossPatterns!
3/14 - 178.8 Eating less the last two days & moving/exercising much more. Lots of decaf hot tea makes me feel warmer, and that seems to lead to less eating. Significantly more fish & beans, both of which I thought I’d never eat happily & by choice LOL
3/15 - 178.4
Wow, waist is finally getting smaller! Hopeful.
My Apple Watch is definitely helping me move and exercise more. And I think my huge thermos of piping hot water that I use to refill my mug of decaf tea throughout the day is really helping too. Over 10K steps yesterday + Pilates: FUN!
3/16 - 178.4
11K steps, including a 2.73 mile hike in the hills that I always wanted to be able to do! Even did it in the rain LOL Best news: was totally comfortable during the walk & no sore muscles, leg cramps, etc overnight or this morning!
3/17 - 178.6 Still under my GW for this round.
Got some not so good health news, but kept to healthy foods & at maintenance. Kept repeating to myself “Food won’t fix it,” doodled my concerns, relaxed, and then ran errands to keep busy. Feeling more settled & myself this morning. Much more hopeful that the lab values can be managed - I know I’m doing everything that is actually under my control & I’m slowly making peace with the fact that that is all I can do.
3/18 - 178.4.
- 1 lb Round 34,
- 2.2 in 2 weeks. On5 -
@puttyputty I hear you on the headaches, right there with you. Take care!3

@LoveThickOrThin Next round! So much respect, if this were easy we would not be here doing this together.3

I was definitely hoping to never see the 240s again, but I’m not surprised. I’ve been traveling for the past week and faltered several times. I’m glad for the fresh start this round!
3/10 - 243.1
Uuuggggggghhhhhh. Trying to stay positive!!
3/11 - 240.4
I’m not feeling so bloated today, and I’m happy to be back on track with my meals now that I’m home.
3/12 - 240.4
I’ve got a busy couple of days this week. Gotta stay on track!
3/13 - 239.4
Yay!! What an awesome start to a crazy busy day!!!
3/14 -237.4
YAAAYY!!!! I’m so excited! Busted through my little plateau and rocking it!
3/15 - 237.4
I had an event last night with a table full of free food and a sheet cake that literally had my name on it, and guess what? I didn’t eat a single thing! I told myself that I was there to meet new people, mingle with acquaintances, and appreciate my friends’ and family’s support— I wasn’t there for the cake, and neither were they! It was a major victory for me. Today is the first day this week that I won’t be completely swamped, so I’m looking forward to catching up and taking care of myself.
3/16 - 236.4
Wooo!! I’m really on the .4s, haha!
3/17 - 235.3
Yay! Happy St. Paddy’s Day, loves!!

Heading out of town tomorrow morning for a quick overnight trip, so I want to get ahead on some things today and set myself up to stay on track!8 -
Hello! Great to see so many familiar faces and even better to see so many new ones!!
SW 182.4 - March 2017
Original GW 145 - smashed this in October and maintained around 143 from October to Dec then the Winter blahs and a crazy schedule got the best of me and I put a couple of lbs back on
New GW 140 - want to start working towards some fitness goals so I'm in good enough condition to participate in some fun adventures with my boys this summer. Can't wait for the ice to be off the trails so the dog and I can start running again!!
3/8 - 145.4 - coming in from round 33
Day/Weight/Comment
03/09 - 145.2 - the thread was closed for moderation when I came to post this yesterday and I didn't get back online again
03/10 - 146.4- Hubby's birthday weekend has begun...today there will be cake and creamy sauces and craft beer and wine...and I will enjoy it with him LOL...
03/11 - 147.2- Carbed it up yesterday....water water water today
03/12 - 149.0 - Wow! This is some crazy Birthday Weekend aftermath, and it wasn't even mine!! Back to tracking everything going in my mouth this week and regular purposeful activity every day!!
03/13 - 147.4 - I seem to be in a regular bloat-flush cycle...for the last couple of months...not ideal...need to figure out a better way.
03/14 - 146.2 - did a new kettlebell routine yesterday...feeling it in my hammys and shoulders...going to stick to some cardio today to loosen things up, but got to keep moving
03/15 - 145.6 - chipping away at it. Plan on getting out for a hike in the snow this afternoon with the boys on March break and the dogs who are a bit stir crazy these days.
03/16 - 145.4- now to keep this from shooting up again over the weekend so I have some momentum going into next week!!!
03/17 - did not weigh- we took a last minute trip up to my parents place for the night...forgot to get on the scale at their place
03/18 - 147.0 - unfortunately with our last minute getaway included a stop for growler refills at one of my favourite craft breweries...but wo did skate for almost 10lm yesterday at the skate trail...so at least there is that!

Day/Weight/Comment
3/09 / 271.0 / I will be out of town for nearly all of this challenge, and without a scale in the mornings. I will track my weight for a trend line but since I will have already consumed water (and coffee) at a minimum, my weight will not have consistency. I will eat to plan.
3/10 / 270.8 / I decided to just bring my scale. Crazy, I know.
3/11 / 273.2 / I broke my diet, hard. Cheese and crackers with wine. I’m also tired of issues that arise due to dieting and am taking milk of magnesia to combat that, but only for today.
3/12 / 272.2 / Trying to shoe horn my scale into my suitcase. If I can’t, I’ll still work my plan while away.
3/13 / No Scale / Ended up not bringing my scale, but my sister in law just offered hers. YAY. I’ll weigh in tomorrow. I did all my precooked meals and got them into the freezer so I am set to work my plan despite my family’s eating habits.
3/14 / 271.0 / I am happy with the loaner scale. I can watch my trend now.
3/15 / 270.0 / Really watched my salt intake and drank water like it was oxygen. Two days of too much activity to drink a lot of water (including traveling or sitting in an airport for twelve hours).
3/16 / 267.0 / Ok. Do I really believe this? Nope, Nada. Nemaye. This is a borrowed scale. I got on and off 10 times. I expect a big reset when I get home late next week.
3/17 / 267.0 / Under on calories but over on sodium due to restaurant food.
3/18 / 268.2 / Had a cheat meal last night with an old friend, we were at the restaurant for four hours talking! I didn’t get all my water in and was 200 over calories.6 -

MFP SW - 58.4 kg
UGW - 50 or a bit less
R32 SW - 55.7
R33 SW - 54.3
R34 SW - 53.8 R34 GW - 53.3
And my daily goal is to drink more water. It seems impossible, right, but I surely can do it!
Day/Weight/Comment
3/9 - 53.8 - daily goal: shamefully failed. I simply forgot that I need to drink something else than just a few little cups of tea... On the bright side, I made a wonderful pizza! It was quite delicious!
3/10 - 53.8 - daily goal: failed, again.
3/11 - 53.7 - Yay! Daily goal: well, I drank something... And, awww, thank you for your hugs! That's so sweet of you, gals and guys! ❤
3/12 - 53.6 - Double yay! Daily goal: not bad! Drank about 500 ml of water and some wonderful herbal tea.
3/13 - 53.7 - No yays for me today, though! Daily goal: let's say completed. BUT I felt depressed again and so slightly overate. Ugh, life can be so sad!
3/14 - 53.4 - Well. I woke up late, and I had a stressful morning, and I had been drinking plenty of water recently, so that's not a miracle, but the natural order of things, right? Anyhow, daily goal: completed. And I felt better! Yes, there're some issues concerning writing my thesis (bad things, actually), and minor health problems, and so on, but the day was rather calm and short, and I wasn't—surprisingly—affected very much by the upsetting side of it. And I did not overeat! Victory!
3/15 - 53.3 - daily goal: completed. ✔ Plus I was sticking to my calories, so thumbs up for me here! ✨
3/16 - 53 - daily goal: completed AND under calories. Too tired to tell anything else!
3/17 - 53 - daily goal: completed and uder calories.
3/18 - 52.6 - daily goal: absolutely failed. I managed to drink only 2 cups of green tea and one tiny cup of Americano throughout the whole day! Well, I was walking half a day, so that's not all bad, after all. But at the end, while cooking a cake, I ate so much frosting, that I can't even imagine how many tablespoons it was! What an awful habit! So whether I was under calories I have huge doubts.9 -

I gained back some weight in 2017 after maintaining my goal for 10 years.
I just started logging food and exercise two days ago. A little accountability and support sounds nice.
3/9 - 177.8 - Customized my goals to reflect the low carb diet I prefer. No weight change.
3/10 -177.8 - still no change in weight. but doing okay.
3/11 -176 - Yay! down 1.8 lbs from the last couple days. Hoping it doesn't go back up.
3/12 -177.4 Still staying under my calories and staying under 55 carbs usually even less. avg around 35
3/13 -176.8 a little loss.. I am slowly inching down. Pleased to see this.
3/14 -175.8 Another loss, very excited to see it and staying on track is getting easier. happy dance!
3/15 -177.0 Whaaaat? Where did my loss go? Trusting it to go away and I am still almost 1 lb down from the start of this challenge. Sticking to plan and waiting to see what tomorrow brings.
3/16 -177.8 Back where I started... bummer. I am staying on plan and even increased my exercise yesterday. I like to think it is water weight... but who knows. Not giving up.
3/17-visiting son, no weight today but I am staying on plan.
3/18- Still out of town and still on plan. but no scale. If I find one, I will update.

SW:222.5
Day/Weight/Comment
3/12: 222.5lbs. Good first day on this challenge. Over 10000 steps and a 45 minute weight lifting session. Around 1800 calories for the day.
3/13: 222lbs. Below 2000 calories. 9000 steps and 30 minutes of weight lifting.
3/14: 222.5lbs. Normal weight fluctuations. I ate near maintenance level calories today, after factoring in exercise. I consider that a success since I ate at a Mexican restaurant where calories add up quickly!
3/15: 222.5lbs. Rest day/ no weight training. Walked 9000 steps and ate about 2100 calories.
3/16: 222.5lbs. 10000 steps and 40 minute workout. Ate about 2300 calories
3/17: 222 lbs. 12000 steps and 30 minutes workout. Consumed about 2200 calories for the day. I really need to decrease my calories to see better results, but I can't seem to get a proper mindset for a strict diet again. I'm working hard but not losing much weight. I'm getting stronger though, so that's a positive.
3/18: 223. Not a good way to finish.4 -
SW: 67.7 kg
RW34GW: 67.0 kg
GW: 60 kg
03/13: 67.7
03/14: 68.2 - rich dinner last night, with lots of sodium, I assume (homemade stir-fry noodles), plus some bloating, I will not cry about this
03/15: 68.2 - still hanging there, but I somehow feel lighter today. I guess healthier food choices help.
03/16: 68.3 - 0.1 kg above, although yesterday I ate below my calories. I still feel lighter than in the past few days, so I'm trying to drink more water or tea (no sugar) today, hope it will help.
03/17: 68.1 - with clothes on. After a night of celebrating St. Patrick's at the local Irish pub, so there's that. Went to my hometown afterwards, so had no way to post.
03/18: 68.1 - in the evening, with clothes on. I'd say it could have gone worse (my parents are firm believers in "our kid needs to eat 2 or 3 servings of food when she's at home, god knows if she's starving in the city").
Personal lessons:- I should probably start measuring my food portions - sometimes I wish I hated my cooking, but I love it. I think I should also start eating alone again.
- Should probably not give in to any of the monthly cravings - why do I never crave a salad? It's always pizza, pasta, burgers or KFC...

Day/Weight/Comment
3/9 (Friday) - 219 - Yesterday I was 217.6. So, let the water weight games begin. Lol
3/10 (Saturday) - 220.2 - Hahahahaha I hafta laugh :-) but I'm getting closer to another 20 lb loss, therefore, a bounce in weight. That's what my body does. I just need to stay on point with water, food and macros. I drank over a gallon of water yesterday, but under calories by 188, wasn't hungry enough to eat them.
3/11 (Sunday) - 217.4 - Yeah. Games.
3/12 (Monday) - 217.6 - SMH - I had a talk with her (my body) She's stubborn, but I'm determined.
3/13 (Tuesday) - 218 - Has to be electrolyte imbalance, food, water, calories, macros are on point. Interesting how the body works.
3/14 (Wednesday) - 217.4 - I was not going to comment today, but I have lost 35lbs since September '17. That is 5lbs a month and one of those months I was in a plateau. Some years ago, I developed the habit of of weighing myself once a week. During a fat loss period, I know that my weight fluctuates too much from water. So, all that to say, if my weight by the end of this 10 day challenge settles to 217.4, that is a 1.2lb loss and I cannot be dissapointed with the number.
3/15 (Thursday) - 217.4 - scale flashed 216.8, then 217.4. Bodyfat % dropped slightly, so I think I may be 216.8.
3/16 (Friday) - If this weight holds steady, that would be a 1.4lb loss for the week and I would be on track. Dropped another .4% of bodyfat also. Very happy about that.
3/17 (Saturday) - 216
3/18 (Sunday) - 215.8

Arghhh it just took me forever to find my last post on this thread! I’m also on my phone so that’s probably why… How do you all do it?

Age: 29

SW in 2018: 240
CW: 238.8
1st GW: under 200 (one-derland, where art thou?)
UGW: 175
Height: 5'11
Goals for this round: staying in the green, drinking 1/2 my weight in oz, and exercise at least 5x a week.
3/8 - 238.8
3/9 - 239.8 (+1.0 lb) --- This was expected given yesterdays' snack attack. Let's just say there was a box of Fiber One Lemon Bars that is no longer around. I know better than to keep snack packs at work! Excited for today and to start this during the weekend. I hope it will bring some motivation!
3/10- 239.2 (-0.6 lbs) --- Step in the right direction! Though I didn't drink that much water I did try to eat clean for the majority of the day. Dinner was some french fries and a few drinks so I'm hoping this will go down a bit more soon. I have a busy day so not much time for activity but we'll see if I can fit some in!
3/11- 237.4 (-1.8 lbs) --- Well alright. I'll take it. Grocery shopping today, going to meal prep lunches/dinner for the week. Glad to see the scale heading down some more
3/12- 237.9 (+0.5 lbs) --- Little gain, blaming it on the weekend and little to no activity. I am ready for success this week!
3/13- 235.0 (-4.0 lbs) Whoa. Unexpected! Been staying in the green and drinking a gallon of water a day. I also got in an hour of activity yesterday. Woot! Let's keep it going shall we?
3/14- 325.8 (+0.9 lbs) Meh. Was up late snacking on cheese and berries. Late night snacking is my downfall. Any tips on how to combat this?
3/15- 234.2 (-1.6 lbs) This is almost too good to be true! I didn't post yesterday and I will admit I was tempted to log on right before bed with yesterday's weigh-in... a testament to how much this thread has been inspiring me. I have been keeping my calories low (for me, at least, ~1500-1700) and have also worked out every day this week. Structure and busy days tend to keep me in check and then Friday tends to roll around and mess everything up. Hoping that is not the case this weekend...
3/16- 234.4 (+0.2) Walked quite a bit (~15K steps) and did a 45 min kick-boxing class. Drank a gallon of water also!
3/17- (this may be a repeat- I struggled to find my post from this date!) I want to say I weighed at 234.2. Friday night I went out and had drinks and was worried the scale would say up, but alas, we’re okay! This was a busy day and with little eating and lots of walking (~16K steps again). My main meal was a poke bowl with tuna and lots and lots of veggies. It was so filling and yummy though a bit high in sodium, but worth it! Staying mindful of my water intake and literally tracking everything. I think this is a huge factor when it comes to weight loss! Mindfulness is key.
3/18- I didn’t weigh in on 3/18 though I did weigh in today (3/19, Sunday) and the scale reads 233! I was shocked. I had steak and eggs for brunch yesterday and usually my stomach doesn’t do so well with red meat but here we are! So happy with this round.... my grand total loss is 5.8 lbs! Seems like a lot but I really, really focused these past 10 days and tried to keep this challenge at the forefront. Thank you to all for your likes, woos, and hugs5
