Wednesday Wish ... That if you haven't seen the 2012 movie "Thanks for Sharing", that you get a chance to see it.
Starts Mark Ruffalo, Tim Robbins, Josh Gad, Gwyneth Paltrow, Pink, and many more ... 1 hr 55 min, available on Pay TV like YouTube TV for about $3.00, or on Amazon Prime ... watched it today and it reminded me of how all of us, who have something we struggle with, have to struggle with it every day even when we are doing great ... and how much sharing ourselves with others in similar circumstances helps us as we help one anther.

@kbeyer23 - I’m sorry for your loss. I will keep you in my prayers.
@NewCaddy - Love your wish and the would be awesome if worked that way. I understand the fitness thing does your health insurance give you access to Rally for health? great motivator to dobthings and you earn points for drawings.

Wednesday wish is that I wish more people noticed my accomplishment in weight vs me having to tell people.

    Wednesday Wish:
I wish I could add more greens to smoothies without gagging. I've tried various powders, kale, spinach etc. I can have a few spinach leaves, but not many, or i just dont get much down.

What else are you putting in the smoothie? Some things mask the flavor of greens better than other stuff. I can add 1 ounce of baby spinach to mine (ab 1 very tightly packed cup) ... I always use banana and peanut butter when I do though.

I have never tried banana or peanut butter. I have some of that powdered pb. I will try it. I usually have different powders or Greek yogurt, blueberries or other frozen fruit sometimes. Lots of ice too.

I didn't do well eating wise this week at all. I shot up to 259.8 after last week's weigh-in and it's still not all gone. Not sure why I keep sabotaging myself. It's mentally draining to keep failing myself.

This week's goal is to stay within my calorie goal every.single.day. I will do this by filling in my protein first, lots of veggies second, some fat and then fruit, starches and make room for ONE treat at the END of the day, not many throughout.

PS .. A little uptick on the scale this week, my eating has been under maintenance, but more than what I ate the last 2 weeks. My 'usual' pattern is up and down (I was 224.5 two days ago), so as long as the scale doesn't go up again on my Saturday weigh-in I'll feel like I am still on track.

Didn't get on the scale this morning. My husband came home from his night shift and asked if I was going to work today...10 minutes AFTER I was supposed to leave the house! Needless to say, nothing that wasn't absolutely necessary got done this morning. But I did manage to pack a quick lunch as I headed out the door. So I'll hop on the scale tomorrow and report then.

Hope everyone has a great Friday (I already want a drink after work - hee hee).

@ladylaura777 ... Experiment some more. I use frozen fruit in mine. I've tried lots of different combinations. Peach is a pretty powerful flavor (although it's not a personal favorite, but it might mask the "green")

Mar 16: 267.0 I am using a borrowed scale and I don’t completely trust it.
Mar 23:268.0 Still out of town, and spending a lot of time in a hospital. Food and water have been issues, as well as the borrowed scale which reads a different number every time I step on it.

    @crochetmerlot58 Welcome Barbara!

@Nikion901 Look at the big picture....your total cumulative loss. Wish I could say that number!

All this talk about smoothies....I never eat breakfast but maybe a low calorie smoothie might be good! If I eat anything at all for breakfast, it's usually just a banana. With milk and/or yogurt, the calories mount up in smoothies. Any ideas on a low calorie one?

My weight friday msrch 23 is 230. Down 2 pounds from last week

Today I ate a bag of haribo bears and then a lindt 70% cacao bar. Combined calories about 750. Stress eating

Endocrinologist ordered more blood work and sent me to hematologist. He's worried. I have diagnosed myself with iron deficiency but now 2 docs dont. Problem with hematologist is their title is oncologist hematologist here in the states. Not very inviting.

Today and Monday two different people came up to me and said I look exhausted. Which is the symptom.

But I've had scares before and it always turns out ok. I'm just hoping this doc agrees with my research.

So I binged today but have otherwise turned to high iron foods like greens and red meat.

Onward ho! Looking forward to two weeks from now at which time I expect to be swallowing iron pills!

@Jessec80 congrats on the 25 lb loss in3 months. Fantastic!
@TripleSnake good to hear you're sleeping better. So important.
@mnwalkingqueen I notice your weight loss!
@Nikion901 I'm going to check that movie out. Sounds great. Good cast!
@Birder165 sabatoge...i hear you. A real challenge for me. Seems ever time I approach 200 I put on 20+ lbs. Why oh why...cause I truly can't stand to see myself in the mirror
@ladylaura777 always banana for me. And lime vanilla almond milk. Could use vannilla yogurt instead of pmain. Do frozen mixed berries. And mixed greens. Spinach is a bitter green. Maybe mixed greens would help? If light on protein add chia or flax seeds

Thanks! It is enamel, the brand is riess. My grandma cooked with those and they became modern again now. I love the colour... it doesn't fit in the cupboard anymore though..

Sunday Share ... I read what Terry said yesterday about having hit a certain poundage in the past and about always gaining again when nearing a marker weight ... and that happens to me as well. The other day I boasted to my son that I had hit a new low weight and when he asked what it was, I told him and to help give him reference I said .. 'somewhere between your wedding day and when my dad went into the nursing home' ... :)

This mornings weight is up; I gave in to the internal pressure that manifested as phantom hunger I could not resist. Three days of over eating in the past 8 days and I am up 2 pounds. The last time I got to this point was about 5-6 weeks ago ... and it set me back a month of weight loss. Que-Sera-Sera (sp?) ... That's how it goes!

Still, I am on the mend again so I am headed in the direction I want to be going. Plus, I have my target in mind for the next quarter coming up ... and ... I ... will ... do ... it.
