1. Do the 3 tiny habits
Tiny Habits:
After I take my morning shower, I will take my vitamin
After I eat breakfast, I will fill up my water bottle
After I have my planned evening snack, I will brush and floss my teeth
2. log all food
3. go to the gym
4. work more on fabric -- trying to get organized before I start another project
5. concentrate on 8+ glasses of water
6. no more than 50 gms sugar
7. get back on here .... be accountable.
Another day where I did great all day, only to ruin it in the evenings. So I have to come up with something to stop this!! I gulp water like crazy, but still give into eating. And its not even "good" stuff ... stuff like saltine crackers, raisins, etc. anything. Why do I have such little willpower at nite!.
Last nite my daughter came out ... she looked so pretty, yet so sad. It is hard. She only stayed a short time, as I could tell her anxiety was higher than normal. Most likely with thoughts going through her head. She left to go back to her little apartment, alone.
then... I get a email from her apartment manager. While we are waiting for disability decision, we are renting month to month. Well... that means a extra $100 a month rent ... unless she signs a 1 yr lease. And ... they are concerned because twice our daughter flooded her apartment, which ran into the downstairs apartment. So they want us to check more with our daughter, and make sure no sinks are plugged, etc. Our daughter is almost 40, so to get our daughter to let us come into her apartment is hard. She does not think there is anything wrong, and to her, that is invading on her privacy. So tonite I need to talk to my daughter again. Either let us come in, or possibly more to a ground floor apartment.
There is no answers. Rent is now $800 a month... and unless we move her 20 miles from us for cheaper rent, I am just scared of the future for her. Our house is not big enough to give her privacy space ... other than the little bedroom she grew up in. Oh ..... if only we would win the lottery!!
But, I have to work on the positives, and that is my plan for today. This week we are suppose to get warmer, sunnier weather, so hoping I can get out in the yard. No better therapy than that.

4. NO EATING AFTER 7 PM. Somehow, I have to figure out a way to break this stress-relieving habit
5. write positive thoughts and concentrate on those today

I have had a good day today - seems to be my Monday pattern after a “bad” weekend. I guess it’s good that I get straight back on it, just wish I didn’t go “off it” in the first place!
Anyway, despite a horrible rainy day, it’s all looking v green:
- morning exercise ✅
- 3ltr+ water ✅ yes!!!!!!!!!
- Stay within calorie goal ✅
- Yoga ✅
- School uniform shopping with the kids ✅
- Check in with lawyer ✅
- Early night ✅
Also took the kids to a pottery painting cafe and we had such a lovely time. It was v expensive, but made me think maybe I should buy some proper art equipment to use with them and after they go to bed as I so enjoyed helping them.
Goals for tomorrow:
- morning exercise
- 3ltr + water
- stay within calorie goal
- Find an activity for the girls which isn’t weather dependent!
- Cook dinner for a friend who is coming to see us
- Online grocery shop
- Sleep by 103 -

My BIL & SIL left this afternoon to go back to Colorado. They've been with us for a week and it has been so much fun, but I am so exhausted! I'm looking forward to a quiet night at home with just me, my DH and my GD.
Just for Monday:

3. NO ice cream
4. Eight 8oz glasses of water
5. Prepare for this week's lunches by cutting up veggies, boiling eggs, etc.
6. Pack tomorrow's lunch and set coffee maker for tomorrow

*After I eat dinner, I will pick out tomorrow's outfit

I started out my day so down and grumpy, but tried hard to think positive. And ... it doesnt take long to see or hear of others that have it SO much worse. I talked to daughters apartment manager ... and once a week I am going to go and help my daughter clean her apartment. That way, I can see if any sinks are plugged, things needing fixing, etc. So hopefully this will work out, and we have no more issues. Hoping the rent stays the same .... and hoping and praying disability comes through. It will be a long 3 months waiting though.
But foodwise - I did so much better, and got in over 8 glasses of water. I filled my large water bottle 4 times --- and took it with me when I took my daughter for ice cream, so that helped also! So .... a good day for me

4. work on new quilt I am starting --- need to cut up over 400 1.5" pieces!! Am I crazy or what!! It will be a totally scrappy quilt!

It sounds like you are having a fun week with family in town!!! Nice to have days like that.... so be easy on yourself! You are staying in the green, and logging food .... that is great with company in town!3 -

Had a lovely weekend away with the boyfriend - weather was appalling, but we had a good time regardless! It was a mixed bag food-wise - I made some good choices, but lots of bad ones too. However, back to normality and good choices now!
Today's commitments:

- Stay calm and positive
- Update to-do list

Actually had a really really really good day! I woke up at like 6:15, called Godmommy to wake her up. Then proceeded to go back to bed. Lol. The DH and I woke up around 8 and laid in bed for the next hour just discussing life and how we feel about each other and where we are heading as a couple and as people. It was really really nice. I got to work on time and had a great day there. I got some training done that I really needed to work on and we actually got out on time! We didnt have any last minute customers so we were able to close down our drawers at the right times. It felt great. The DH was pulling into the parking lot as I almost reached it. Lol. Then we got the DH's haircut. It was the first time he has been to a barber in 20 years. He usually just buzzes his head. I hate it! He looks like a serial killer when he does it. But now he has a proper cut. He got a style and his beard was shaped but they didnt cut it down. He looks so good! And it cost us next to nothing! I'm going to go get my hair cut on Thursday I think. I desperately need to do something with it. I didnt end up going to the store because the cut only took about 20 minutes. But one of my coworkers told me about a website called Thredup. It's an online consignment shop. I found a bunch of nice work pants that I bought and am going to try on. I paid about $100 for 10 pieces.
It was just an overall good day!
Onto my list for today,
1. Shower before work
2. Prep lunch for the DH and I
3. Work 1015-515
4. Dinner/Dishes(Leftovers)
5. Take a walk
6. Transfer $
7. Clean a bit
8. Oatmeal in the CP

1) Move hourly / stairs breaks at work = Fitbit 9,841 steps, 250+ steps 13/14 & 33 floors ~ also enrolled in the Wellness Step by Step Challenge at work (4/16 - 8/31) and added ChallengeRunner app to my phone ~ excited to do this!
2) Lunch at desk (noon meeting at OFF) / not sure about supper / net calories w/i 100 green / monitor usual = Net calories -182, sugar -11, sodium green, fiber & protein good (yay!) & 15c water
3) Evening: bake muffins / put away laundry most of it / water plants / Sunday ads postponed to T / delete DVR

So I have to come up with something to stop this!! I gulp water like crazy, but still give into eating.
What about brushing your teeth? I used to do that when I wanted a smoke when I was quitting smoking it helped curb the urge because I never liked a cigarette after brushing my teeth. Maybe it would work for food too. That's my trouble time too, is in the evenings. I could go all day and not eat, and then blow it all after my husband goes to bed.

Last fall when I was unemployed I started a Paint Night at Home business. I really need to get some new paintings done to put on my FB page. I am getting tonnes of views but since I have no new paintings posted no one is interested in what they see. This would be a big help financially, I need to buckle down and do it!3
