            I find Search Warrants terrifying.
On the other hand, Restraining Orders are treated more like a suggestion.2 -

I've read through most of this thread and I have a quick question:
How do you people make it through life without intense psychiatric intervention?

I can't watch anyone shave. If my husband wants to talk to me when he's shaving I yell from the other room.
Latex balloons. *shudder* ESPECIALLY if someone is blowing one up or manhandling it.
Small watercraft, 'cause tipping over.

Thanks. ... it wasn't a serious question (just clowning ).
But yeah, I suppose working out might help.0 -

clusters are the worst.
I think you're the one that told me about Trypophobia. Which I now know I have. To this day I'm still haunted by that pic of worm hole feet man that was posted elsewhere by someone else.

Oh I have a story.. I don't know if it is an entertaining one, but I am going to tell it anyway. So, I was about 4 or 5 years old, and my dad was watching the Exorcist. For some reason, he decided to let me watch it with him and the older kids... Great dad, Great!
So, afterwards, I asked my dad if that could happen to me, and with the most sincere look on his face, he said, " I don't believe it will happen to your sister, but you, yes." Great sense of humor, dad! Thanks! I went a very long time afraid I was going to get possessed. 1 -

Than that would mean I had a screwed up life, and now I think I need to get psychiatric help. Because, nothing is what it seems.1 -

I have always being afraid to lick an envelope for fear that somehow I would papercut my eye ball. Until self adhesive envelopes became a thing, I would only ever tape an envelope closed.
Peel and seal envelopes are a thing already
That’s why I said until they became a thing I would tape envelopes closed. Reading is a thing already too.
I clearly need more sleep :laugh:0 -

Me too. I also have a fear of dying before they're completely independent without me as I KNOW it would devastate them and I can't bare to even think of them hurting or suffering.1 -
