The final number does not show it,but this last week was a little bit of a struggle. Yes, I logged what I ate and watched what I ate. But then there were these voices reminding me of how well I was doing...what'sthe harm in a little Ice Cream as a treat. I even took a stroll down the frozen foods section...oh you temptress. But I managed to keep to the plan. Yes, I know treats are fine...but I know me and Ice Cream. I can finish a pint just like that. Ultimately, a blood orange and some pistachios worked just fine.
Moving a lot of my "exercise" outdoors. Went hiking in the hills three times last week. One hike was at over 3mph. These are not strolls. The groups I hike with like move it on these to prepare for the bigger trips.
Meanwhile, I just changed by MFP settings to lose just 0.5 each week. I am essentially at my original goal for July, and there is time to make the July goal at 0.5 per week. This seems like the right move at the moment. I am getting more active outdoors (yes, MFP should adjust itself based on my logging), but I don't want to come up short in calories while out on a 7 mile hike. Still logging, still ever watchful.

Just a quick update from yesterdays weigh in..... as I said granddaughter was in town, so we did eat more than usual, ans maybe TMI, but haven't "been" regular. So on advice from a friend, I tried garcinia cambogia ands well, lets just say it had an affect on me, or in me. This morning I weight 223.0. YEAH?!?!0

Sadly (for me) I already eat very low carb and no soda or sweets - occasional fast food takeout on cheats days
Whatever did it - take it, celebrate it and build on it

April is my "Kick it up a notch" month. I'm doing my best to stay focused on not giving up--especially when the scale is not moving, or when I'm fluctuating the same 5 lbs or so.
Exercise: Lots of hiking if it's not too chilly outside....
I will take responsibility and say I've been having a slight 'LOVE AFFAIR' with 'Miss Jones Organic Frosting' as of late, and it has reflected my lack of progress. Guilty as charged. Oooh, that frosting is so good--anyway! See what I mean, old habits.
As the weather (eventually) gets warmer, I can spend more time outside, and that's when I know for sure the weight will begin to drop. Until then, all I'm doing is eating and trying to stay warm...and that can be dangerous!
