Realized I decided to do recomp & work to slow weight loss, but not really for any reason except “to prove I can maintain” & because I saw some posts on here to reduce rate of loss as one gets close to goal.
But my loss of some inches in the past week that honestly I thought wouldn’t ever happen (large bones etc) and the fact my wrists now measure in “medium frame” not large, has made me realize my GW will likely not be in high end of Normal BMI, but more in middle. SO I’m Not within 5 lbs of goal, so I’m redoubling my efforts to lose at least 4lbs a month.
The funny thing is I’ve lost 4.6 lbs in the last month & -0.2 in the last week, so I never did maintain as I thought I had.
The last time I was this weight was 12 years ago & before that *after* I dieted down to it for high school graduation.
This is uncharted territory, so it would make sense that I’m a little scared? Nervous? Curious?

@quiltingjaine - I'm good! Starting under 25 carbs is actually pretty easy for me. The struggle is reaching the other macros. I need to do s better job meal prepping/planning. Lucky for me there are lots of good low-carb eating options in Los Angeles! Thanks for the encouragement!
@MadisonMolly2017 - Congrats on your great work! The "big-boned" thing is a little bit of an old wives tale. The truth is your bones increase and decrease in size as you gain and lose weight in response to the stress (or lack thereof) of your body weight.2 -
