Name: Jen
Age: 46
Height: 5'2.5"
Total Weight lost:145lbs
Time it took to lose: 2.75yrs
How long in maintenance: Since 4/14/17
Maintenance weight range: Would like to stay under 122 at morning weigh-in.
Jan-Jun 2017 avg weight trend: 124.4lbs
Jul-Dec 2017 avg weight trend: 119.2lbs
January avg weight trend: 118lbs
February avg weight trend: 117.9lbs
March avg weight trend: 117.8lbs
April avg weight trend: 117.5lbs
May avg weight trend: 119.1lbs
Trend week of...
27th April: 117.5lbs
4th May: 118.7lbs (Bingeing starting to show up on my scale and belly roll.)
11th May: 119lbs (Managed to bank and eat low sodium for a few days for Mother's Day, so weight is actually higher. I may just learn to accept my pot belly since my face looks haggard under 120.)
18th May: 119.2lbs
25th May: 119.5lbs (Low due to some banking. Actual weight this AM was 121.3lbs)
Successes of the week: Another mixed bag as there was some bingeing, but also some really good days. Trying hard to get back to banking for summer so I can go out to eat on weekends.
Challenges of the week: FIL is in hospital, so feeling stressed. Not enough hours in a day, so shorting on sleep. Missed leg workouts due to groin pull. School ends in a couple of weeks, so kids are crazy and in the back of mind I am worried about being home this summer. Might get a summer job, but feeling anxious about that, too. To my credit, I have been coping with anxiety and bipolar without medical support all year, so that’s something! :^)

Name: Faebert
Age: 39
Height: 5’6
Total Weight lost: 47lbs
Time it took to lose: on and off 3 years. First 30 in 4 months and then gradually reduced goal weight
How long in maintenance: 13 months
Maintenance weight range: 115-120
Average weight recorded from 2017 (12months): 121
Average weight recorded from April: 114.9
Week of 4 May: 113.5
Week of 11 May: 113.25
Week of 18 May: 111.75
Week of 25 May: 112.75
Week of 1st June: 115.75
Successes/struggles: Well I’ve gained! I needed to but I can’t pretend it was anything other than lots of indulgence! A wedding, long bank holiday weekend and a more sedentary week without work. Not sure how much might be water weight but I need to be ok with it either way as this puts me just back into healthy BMI range, no longer underweight. The good thing is I’m keeping up my workouts and have done some good meal prep and lots of work for school next week so feeling organised for the last half term.
Have a great start to June everyone! X7 -

Successes/struggles of the week: Had my annual physical yesterday and my doctor called me “wonder woman” and said I was an inspiration regarding what’s possible. She said she fully expects to see me on American Ninja Warrior one day because I am simply that much of a force to be reckoned with. She also complemented my physique saying she sees more definition in my arms and face now. Wow... what a confidence booster. I don’t get many “you’re too skinny” comments these days, but if I did... can’t wait to respond with all that feedback on what my DOCTOR thinks about my physical health. Lol.
Otherwise, prepping for my last day at my current job. Worked here for 4.5 years, but it’s time to move on to a new opportunity. By next week, I should have the new routine, including food prep and exercise, figured out in theory... then just to put it all into practice.
Have a great week everyone!12 -

Success/Struggles: going back to weight loss calories for June because I am mentally struggling with continuous crossing the BMI normal/overweight line (~143). Hope to finish June/July at ~138 which should give me mental buffer to not constantly freak or give myself grief at normal fluctuations. I hope. That’s the plan, anyways lol.8 -
I was looking for the June thread and cannot find?0

Success/struggles of the week: Got a great hike with hubs last Monday, but my knee has been quite sore as a result. Good news, gives me a chance to practice cutting calories during injury to prevent gain. I feel great about having done so for just a week, because my old pattern was get injured, eat anyway, gain, exacerbate injury, give up, gain all 15-20 back. NOT ON THIS WATCH.7 -

Successes/struggles of the week: yo, I'm the one who is eating to benefit my liver and hopefully see my elevated liver enzymes drop back to normal. I very much doubt I will ever again allow my weight to zoom up the scale, even by a modest 10 lbs, now that I understand how weight gain promotes the storage of fat in the liver, and therefore fatty liver disease. So there is something curiously comforting, despite the dietary restrictions, about knowing that respecting them means I will never again have a weight problem!
I am now slightly below my "ultimate" weight loss goal weight of 146.4, but am still interested in reaching the low end of my maintenance range. Yup, want to climb the fence of 145 and frolic in the greener grass on the other side8 -
Well, well, well, half my reply failed to post. Sigh, 3 steps forward, 1 step back! I will just add: have a great week everybody!3

I have heard that using phone emoticons that don't translate well on the website breaks the post right there... maybe that?1 -
I hope everything is ok with @fidangul . Since there is no thread for June I will go ahead and post June stats in the May thread.

Success/struggles of the week: I am very happy that I'm back in the 120's -- even though barely! What is it about that one extra pound (or two) that makes such a difference??? Anyway, was talking with a friend who is starting her own weight loss journey -- and she says I was her inspiration! What??? All I ever tell anyone who says stuff like that is to get on MFP immediately. There is so much inspiration going on here!5 -
@brightresolve Thanks for the possible explanation... I will watch out for emoticon "conflict"
Thanks @fidangul for sorting us out once again! Oh, oh, I'm going to risk another emoticon:0 -
@fidangul, sorry, I wasn't making a weird comment, I mistakenly thought I was in a June thread! I'm wearing n old pair of glasses since I broke my current ones, and everything looks a bit wonky!0

Trying to find a good feed on people doing maintenance/re-composition, who on regular intervals re-calculate (every 6 weeks) their macros?0
