Ok I just found this recipe and plan on cooking it this week. I hope it's as yummy as it sounds.
This is actually exactly how I found it but...I changed the cream cheese to 1/3 fat and my calories came out
a lot lower than theirs. Originally the calories were 469. Not sure what brand of mushroom gravy they were using either. I usually shop at wal-mart and buy great value everything LOL except I don't skimp on cheese. but for this recipe I just selected the campbells gravy because they all were pretty close in calorie count.

In a slow cooker combine the chicken, gravy, milk, mushrooms, chilies, and dressing mix.
Cover and cook on low for 4 to 4.5 hrs or until chicken is tender.

Stir in cream cheese cover and cook 15 minutes longer until cheese is melted.

My recommendation or actually how I will eat this is over mashed cauliflower. I have a recipe for that too LOL.

It saves carbs and calories that way.

OK, my friend and I are lost with the bump..bump...thing.

We work 'with' younger folks and aren't familiar with the saying?

Does it just mean it's a good thing, or cool or something equal to that?

    Just curious, mean NO offense.

    Thank you for clarifying!

Bump in this context means they are commenting "bump" to keep the thread bumped to the top of the recent posts feed so it is easy to find again.

  • Those look like some tasty recipes. I really have to get ink so I can print them out. I wonder if my chunky monkey nephew would know if he was eating a healtier recipe. Does anyone mind if I include them in a cookbook I am putting together for him. He likes to cook, well mostly he uses the grill and the crock pot. But he really LOVES to eat. Thanks Eyes
