hi Krista if you managed a workout that's great, steps are good but you would have burned more calories in the workout I am sure. its all about activity as long as your doing that, it doesn't matter what it is so all good1

Over the last 2 days I have been struggling to get a workout in or my steps. I have eaten well during the day, but find myself mindlessly snacking on the couch, even while telling myself I shouldn't be doing it. On the plus side though, I have tracked EVERY LAST BITE I put in my mouth, so thats good. I am trying to stay accountable no matter what and to learn from every mistake and success. Onwards and upwards from here on out.1

I won’t be able to weigh in weekly since I don’t have scales at home thus will be getting weighed at the surgery, likely monthly but I’m still in! I want to lost over 100lbs but a 50lb goal for September is a great initial target.
It’s confusing with all these different weight measurements! I go by Stones but the GP weighs me in Kilos and Americans go by lbs — LOL! I’ll get the hang of keeping track in all measurements I guess.
I think the important thing is to register the difference, and I'm sure there's a free unit conversion calculator on the internet.0 -

Yes I am finding that this is making the biggest difference in my motivation this time vs all the other times. Before, if I had had a bad day, I would just say oh whatever, I failed today so lets just restart on Monday, and then would ruin the rest of the week. Now, however, I am facing my mistake, telling myself it was just one day or one meal and I am moving on and getting back on track immediately. I really want to be successful this time, and I think I may have finally cracked the nut on how to do that. I guess only time will tell though whether this really is my holy grail of weight loss.
Yesterday was not bad. I am finding it hard to meet my calories while staying within my macros. I tend to only eat about 800-1000 calories at the moment. I figure this is ok as long as my energy stays up and my body isn't yelling at me. I am not purposely trying to eat this little, I am just finding that eating healthy, whole foods fills me up and keeps me from being hungry very often. Also, the temperature here is hovering around 115 degrees, making it very hard to want to eat anything that is very calorie dense in the first place.
