I was happy with myself last night!! I only have about 8,000 steps and really wanted to hit my goal of 10,000. I put on a good movie and walked through the whole thing. I told myself I could only watch TV if i was walking. it was great to realize at the end of the movie to realize how far past the goal I had gone!
Walking-while-watching has always worked well for me too. I did the same thing both yesterday and today while racking up extra mileage.
It's also handy for getting to watch that can't-miss-episode of your favorite show while still virtuously NOT neglecting to get in all your steps for the day .3 -
Weekly goal: 70000+ steps / week
07/01: 30,833 (just back from a vacation where we were walking for HOURS most days; don't want to cut that off cold turkey, but will be gearing back over the coming week to work-week normal of 10000 steps per day on average)

Starting a bit late but I am in. Trying to do a birthday challenge with a friend to do 61 miles week of 7/8 to 7/14.
