    @shanaber I was just telling my family the same thing this morning as I was double checking our kits to make sure we were fully stocked.

    Well I was going to run today but now there's quite a lot of thunder & lightning happening outside.

    Its supposed to clear up by morning so I'll do tomorrow's scheduled 8km and make up today's run on Friday. Maybe I will sleep in my running clothes. Wouldn't be the first time...

    Welcome @CeeseOrtiz and @missevil.
    Regarding your shoe dilemma @missevil, did you buy them at a running store where they fitted you? If so, I would go back and tell them what you are feeling and have them analyze your gait and feet again. Sounds maybe like you have motion control type shoes and may need a more neutral or cushioned shoe.
