I'm 5'9 270 pounds I started intermittent fasting and I eat 1000 calories a day is that bad? I usually dont get hungry until 2 PM I eat 3 eggs with chicken breast and that's usually around 450 or less calories and I get full then my last meal is at 6pm I eat chicken breast with brocolli coliflower half a avocado and a granola bar and thats it.

Why are you eating so little? Yes it's bad, the minimum recommended intake for a man is 1500 calories and at your stats you can lose at a healthy rate on a lot more than that.
That is what a tiny 70 year old woman would exist on, not a 270lb young man.23 -
Yes, that's bad.
Assuming you are actually getting 1000 kcal or less a day (people tend to underestimate, especially if they're not weighing everything), you are 500 kcal under the minimum for men.
That means that you are not getting enough calories to maintain essential functions, and are risking damaging your body. It is also very difficult to get enough macro and micro nutrients on that few calories.
Why are you not following MFP's recommendations?14 -
Yes it's bad, why do you feel you have to ask?10

Yes, that's bad. I weigh 120# less than you and 1000 cal/day is too little for me. You might be able to get away with it in the short time, but not without consequences. That extra rapid weight loss will come at the expense of your existing muscle, sort of the opposite of what you want in the long term.9

I'm hitting my protein and fat macro goals and keeping my carbs low what do I need to change? Do I really need to eat if not hungry?4

I hit my goal protein and fat goal on macros though. Do I have to add 1 more meal? If I'm not hungry?3 -
What are you trying to achieve?
He/she who eats the most and still loses wins!27 -
Why would you eat so little. The body is like a car needs fuel to run.5

May I ask how long you've been eating this way? Often there's a 'honeymoon' period where you feel on top of the world, energized, in control, and amazed at your newfound willpower. Then you crash. Weak, tired, and hungry isn't fun.17

Considering you're a man, hell yea it's bad. You shouldn't be lower than 1500 calories and even at 1500 calories, it's still too low. You're basically eating any muscles you have. What you're doing is doing the opposite of healthy. You're basically killing your organs.15 -

Why are you keeping your carbs low? Eat more, if you can't do more volume, do more calorie dense foods like nut butters, oil, etc.

You won't be able to sustain eating 1000 calories. You will end up quitting.
Use MFP as you are meant to and you have a much higher chance of being successful.

Ooof I didn't get my coffee this morning. I mean surprised it's not higher than that, which begs me to ask if the OP is actually weighing his food correctly or entering his food correctly. At 1000 calories, he would definitely lose more than that.8 -
