 JULY 16: 306.9 (+4 lbs) All water weight. I joined a gym last week and went from couch slug to gym enthusiast with five consecutive days of gym activity. So many body parts are sore right now, and my feet are really swollen from doing a lot of standing in the kitchen batch-cooking and food prepping on the weekend. I stayed on plan and maintained a good deficit. I am positive that this too shall pass. And I'm going to the gym again tonight after work.
 JULY 23: 306.7 (-0.2 lbs) Still fighting inflammation and swelling in my feet and ankles. I see this minor loss as a major victory over my own body. Hoping for improved results next week. Started strength building exercises this past week.

June 30 is my lowest weight ever, and it was the first day my trending weight dropped below 150. I have no doubt I will pop back up again, but the trend still looks good! River trip coming up, so who knows what will happen. I will be VERY active, and I will also be eating at will.

 JULY 16: 147.6 -- I was under my ULTIMATE goal for three days (144.8 and 144.4). This little bounce-back certainly is natural fluctuation, but it doesn't feel good.
 JULY 23: 148.8 -- Just back from a river trip. I ate and drank at will, and even celebrated when I got back. Better be careful or I'll pop back up out of my goal range, and it feels good to be in my goal range.

 WEIGHT LOST THIS WEEK: 1.8 pounds.
 CHALLENGE WEIGHT LOSS GOAL: 7.4 pounds (scale weight 145) in 22 weeks.
 ACTUAL WEIGHT LOSS FOR CHALLENGE: 5.4 pounds in 15 weeks. It's a good general trend. I was already successful in gettint to my ultimate goal. I have a dive trip coming up. They feed us a LOT of food, but we do four (or maybe more) dives per day for five days... about an hour per dive; who knows what that will mean.
 I've decided that I'm now officially on "maintenance," so this will be my last "lose x by y" challenge; I will be moving to maintainer challenges. Join me!
