When in Paris please eat on my behalf a salade aux gesiers, a frissee aux lardons and a hot dog. The first is a salad with duck pan fried duck giblets sometimes with little cubes of fried potato, the second is curly endive with bacon, poached egg and croutons, and the hot dogs in paris are amazing. All three items on virtually every cafe menu.

OK, back from a week in Canada, and ... grilled BBQ chicken breast pieces __ again __, LOL (seems as if poultry is all we're eating this season). This time with grilled fresh garden garlic eggplant (dusted with grated parmesan), fresh garden tom/cuke salad and brown rice. Lemon water. Managed to avoid poutine while up North, but indulged in some other things, and balanced road fast-food and cycling/swimming to come back 2 lbs lighter.
Top: as served, Bottom: on grill. The little pot is BBQ sauce heating before being brushed onto the chicken.

Chili. I could improve the presentation by sprinkling some fresh jalapeno slices or cilantro over it but I don't want to waste anything just for the pic, lol. Trust me, it's delicious. It's only 280 calories for this bowl too. Recipe in this thread here.1 -

I imagine that must have been quite the ice cream sandwich for you to say so because you eat some of the most delicious looking things on this thread! I love carrot cake and ice cream sandwiches, so I am definitely drooling over here!2 -

I see that the original recipe only uses coriander. I often add basil and mint too. Any SE Asian green herbs. Perilla leaf and sawtooth coriander if you can source them would be good too. If the peanut allergiic person can eat cashews, that's a common replacement in southern Thailand.1 -
Roast veggies with croutons and gorgonzola with a squeeze of lemon. Air fryer potato wedges. Pan fried sea bream on a dirty plate.
