Goals: 1. To be an inspiration to my 22 year old Autistic son who started his weight loss journey on May 1, 2018 weighing 308.4 . (He weighs in about once per week- 10 days)
2. Big Goal this round: Break the barrier and hit 179.8 (3 lb. loss)
3. No Bingeing
4. No “cheat days” only occasional “Earn Meals” which are easier to recover from.
5. 10,000 steps per day. Mixed modes of exercise.
6. Lots of water, green tea daily, apple cider vinegar before carby meals.
7. Check my blood sugar daily for improvements.

8/19 - 181.6 Back on track. Trying to work my way back to my Whoosh day on the 17th. However, I know that the 4 day business trip coming up is going to change everything this round. This unexected trip will be lots of sitting travel and all restaurants and business luncheons and dinners. I will do my best. Usually these days turn my nights into full-on binges. This is what I need to work on the most. YESTERDAY’S STATS: 16 Net Carbs. 1224 Calories In / 2779 Calories Out. 12,222 total steps. 5.17 Miles. 13/13 (250) fitbit hours. No specific exercise. Just a hard working day. Diet perfectly on point with no hunger. Intermittent fasted 16:8

@tiabirdie56 WOW! You have done a lot more sewing and a larger variety than I. Back in the late ’80’s I started piecing quilt tops but I find the quilting process very stressful. Some day my girls can fight over those tops! Now it seems I lack motivation to do anything. My back/ribs are slowly getting better. Thank you!

Starting over This is my 3rd Round, female, 65 years old, 5'6", live in the Pacific Northwest.
OSW: 266 lbs.
CSW: 259 lbs. 262.4
RSW: 254.4, 253.6 lbs. for now 262.4 lbs
CGW: as close as possible to 250 lbs.
IGW: under 200 lbs
UGW: 150 lbs.
Round 48: Loss: 259-255.6 = -3.4 llbs?
Round 49: Loss: 258.4 (starting weight) -253.6 = 4.8 lbs,, 255.6 (ending weight from Round 48) - 253.6 = 2 lbs?
Total Loss so far: 5.5 lbs for all Rounds?

8/18 262.4 I was having difficulty getting my old scale to work so we just bought a new scale. Bad news the new scale is weighing me much heavier. So I will be readjusting my weight up . Disillusioning but when all is said and done I would rather have my true weight and know when I lose I am really losing. My old one got me through losing 40 lbs and gaining it back when I went back to full time work and commute. So really don't know what to say for my last 2 rounds. Can't tell whether I was losing or not. The good new is that I need a scale and to weigh daily and now I have one and can do that.
8/19 263.6 Wrong way! I actually stayed under calories and got exercise yesterday but we did eat at a Mexican restaurant and it was salty. So this pound will probably not be staying for long but not easy to deal with after the scale thing. Oh well. I just invested in an exercise machine for those time I can't go for a walk or to aquafit. Need to lose some pounds soon.

8/16 133.5 Soooo, the cat woke me at 4AM because he thought that was a good time for breakfast. I didn’t so was going to put him in his carrier. When I pivoted, the toe of my shoe caught in the grout line and we went down. I hit my ribs on the refrigerator and skinned one knee. Pretty sure I’m going to have a bruise but currently sitting with a well wrapped ice pack on my side. I don’t think anything is broken. I think Oskar is going to be restricted at night to the sewing room and bathroom in the future. (Master suite)
8/17 133.5 I slept in the recliner last night and got over 8 hours in spite of my sore ribs and ice pack. At lunch I ate French fries. They were perfectly cooked - crispy! I ate about 1/3 and gave the rest to Carl. I’m still in nutritional ketosis this morning so that’s good. We’ll see what the scale thinks tomorrow or Sunday!
8/18 136.0 (!) That’s what carbs do! I was hurting yesterday from my fall and ate 1/2 a pita with my Greek salad w/ gyro meat. The price I pay for 2 high carb days!
8/19 135.0 Some of my lady friends are coming over to eat, drink, and sew. I wish I felt better. My ribs are better but getting anything accomplished is exhausting. We were out last night, I went to bed late and woke early. DD#2 is going to cut my hair. She is a school teacher but gives better haircuts than the salons I have visited.13 -
8/16-285.5 Well, 5 lbs down from starting weight a whooole lot more to go. Really wishing coworkers would stop bringing goodies. I've been pretty good about it, just trying a small portion.
8/17-284.7 Yay! tomorrow probably won't look so pretty...going out to lunch today.

8/17 127.1 -- creeping back up....oh no!
8/18 128.5 -- OH NO! So, this happens when you eat FOUR SLICES OF PIZZA late at night. What was I thinking?? (Well, it was thin crust and covered with arugula.) Anyway, I went to a 75 min. power yoga class this morning (after weighing in....) -- I do Baptiste yoga and it's done in a studio heated to 92 degrees -- we SWEAT -- which is good. Like I said in round 49 -- Do something that makes you sweat everyday.... trying to go down in pounds, not up!
8/19 -- 126.7 -- MUCH relieved this morning -- went out to brunch after yoga yesterday and had grilled shrimp, two overeasy eggs, and instead of grits (that was the menu item -- shrimp and grits!) they made me a beautiful garden salad -- greens, and veggies. No toast (gave it to hubby--it was beautiful three seed bread, but it came pre-buttered) and no salad dressing -- and it was EXACTLY what I wanted and needed! And that was early afternoon, so it was the meal of the day. Pretty much that and a glass of rose and life was great! Lesson learned -- ask for what you want and will feel good about eating. (They would have given me a piece of UN-buttered toast, but I didn't want it anyway...) I would love to get to 125 by the end of this round. Doing a power yoga class again this afternoon. Sweat everyday!

@quiltingjaine, I remember my father asking me to make seat cushions for my parents bedroom window seat. I had never done anything like that. I was 16yo then. I made them, they fit perfectly. I taught myself a new skill, how to make and attach fabric covered piping. That fabric was a heavy vinyl, not the easiest to work with.
I've been wanting to teach myself to do piece quilting for 12 years. One day, hopefully soon.6 -

8/18 - 148.0 when I woke up and 146.2 after I decided to go back to bed for a couple hours. Hoping the 146.2 is accurate but I also had a burger and booze last night so I see where 148 comes from. Either way I'm back on track today, Friday is always my relaxed evening when it comes to food and drinks because it's usually date night for me and my husband.
8/19 - 148.2 - I guess my body isn't ready to be rid of this number yet. I've lost pretty consistently since January though so being stuck here for a bit is ok.

8/16 290 Day one- Great start, High protein/low carb works for me.
8/17 282.2 - 7.8 lbs Combined first two days fluid loss.
8/18 280.0 – 2.2 lbs Switched off caffine diet soda to clear caffine free soda water. Good day at the gym but its always my toughest to stay with it on a regular basis. I wish I really enjoyed going. Maybe I should take up swing dancing! Yeah right!! One day at a time...... So far all is good.
8/19 280.0 – 0.0 lbs Well not unexpected to have no loss after such a big drop over the past few days. Staying under my calorie and carb count. Going to my grandsons birthday party this afternoon and taking my chicken salad and 0 cal dressing with me to stay with it. NO EXCUSES!

Round 4 for me. My goal for this round is to stay in onderland. On holiday at the moment so I'll start weighing in from the 19th, hopefully, I wouldn't have done much damage to my journey. Being mindful of my food choices.

8/19 196.5lbs - back from a well earnt rest. Pleased to see this number again, as I thought that I would put weight on during my time away. But instead a 2lb loss!! I have restarted with my water again, as I didn't keep it up when I was away, so it will be no surprise it the scale goes back up tomorrow. However, I'm feeling relaxed, peaceful and content with life, which is a great feeling to have.
