My co-workers are OBSESSED with those chips! We're up near Cleveland and can't get them around here.. when guys go out on the road and head down towards Cincinnati they stop and grab a ton to bring back to the shop. If they don't bring Grippos back home, they may as well not even come back.

I was like "what could be so special about some chips"... googled it and.. oh my goodness.. the brown sugar coating ec1fzh9wf9ic.png

Some people have food triggers in that they see a picture and they can't get it out of their heads, and the next thing they are eating it. One of the things I used to hate about WW was that at meetings, people would sit around and talk about what they were going to eat when they reached their goal - isn't that kind of defeating the purpose of making a life style change? I don't say that I will never eat a juicy cheeseburger (with fries)again, but I don't think it serves my purpose to sit around and ogle pictures of it when I am trying to make a lifestyle change.
But to each his own, I guess.

And some people don't. I eat many of the things pictured in this thread, in quantities that fit my goals. In fact, I'm very much looking forward to those steak nachos this weekend

Is there any reason you are eating under 1000 calories a day? (I looked at diary) Maybe that is why you can't get it out of your head sometimes. I know if I was eating so few calories just seeing photos would probably make me go insane. I understand where you are coming from, but sometimes it is cathartic to get it out, lol. (At least for me it is)

I eat the stuff that's on here all the time. I just find a way to fit it into my calories. Either smaller portions, a lot more exercise, smaller meals throughout they, or a combination. So far I'm down 185lbs, because I made the lifestyle change to realizing that I don't have to give up anything I love, just eat normal sized portions.

Besides, some of us see this and think... Oh that looks good, lemme go look that up to see how I can fit that into my diet!

Same here some of these things I actually plan to fit in and try like those bbq chips etc

I would love some hush puppies and biscuits & gravy right now. (Gravy not pictured as it is not very pretty).

Right this second I wouldn't eat anything. I am full. Cheesecake is usually my answer, though.

Too much honesty for you? Yes, I can see the thrill of looking at pictures of the stuff that got me here in the first place. Cheeseburgers, cheesecake, Dairy Queen ice cream, a really good french bread warm, with butter, pastas with a rich red sauce. This is not my first diet - and in the past, as soon as I started, I craved that which I couldn't have and before long, I would give in.

I believe the OP mentioned food porn in the very first post. If that is a trigger, don't open the thread.

o man..... Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie!eadnek0rkn6u.jpg

Holy crap. This is a thing? If this was a cake instead with the peanut butter being a tad bit thinner in ratio to chocolate cake and chocolate chunks spread throughout.. I think I'll faint after a bite.

I'm showing this to my baker friend. I want this in my life.

That one caught my eye too and I bet the filling is a peanut butter, cream cheese and powdered sugar concoction so I bet it tastes a little like cheesecake - so I think I would prefer it this way to a more traditional cake texture.
