This thread is really making it easier to be accountable and not eat more when I feel like I want to.

I drink a lot as I'm still nursing our 5 mo old son.

Hmm - I somehow messed up my days last round. No surprises there as I have very little routine right now and all my days are bleeding together! Whoops.
8/26 - Sunday - 185.5
8/27 - Monday - 186.5 - So much salt the past few days. And so much moving. Got the table done, last heavy thing is the grill. Which is HEAVY. Landlord gave us the extra weekend to move/clean, yay! Still on an emotional roller coaster with the house - change is really hard for me. My dad reminded me that I cried when he painted the house, and also cried when they got rid of a 20 year old couch. So yeah, even good change is hard for me. But I'm learning not to hold to tightly to my feelings - the feelings come and go a little easier these days - I know its okay to feel scared of change, but I have to let it go and feel excited too! Applying these ideas to my weight loss journey too.

It can be really frustrating to feel like you are stuck on the same weight! Doesn't exactly help with motivation. But it feels soooo good when you suddenly drop again.2 -

8/26 - Out of town.
8/27 - 147. I missed the end of the last round since I was out of town for a long weekend. We walked everywhere and I even made it to the hotel gym. We also went on a guided food tour. Even before the trip, I had a round of no scale movement. I like what I'm doing this time. It feels sustainable and I hope that I can get to a healthy weight doing it. I'm going to go one more round without changing my program and see if the scale starts to move again. If not, I'll reevaluate for September. Even though the scale isn't moving, I feel stronger, healthier and just a little bit firmer.

Trying to keep a solid foot in the 170’s so I can be confident in reporting the weight into MFP. Fell asleep last night before I could eat my protein snack and drink my protein shake so my calories were a little too low by accident. That will make me extra hungry today so I must plan wisely. I need that extra protein to combat the hair loss (doctor’s orders) so I will try to fit it in earlier. That may not be easy to do with the IF, but I will manage it somehow.

Telling myself "I'm done eating" is difficult. The worst time of the day is at night... it seems like once I eat, I continue eating. The "Kitchen is Closed" sign is going to have have a padlock on it! Goal is to live this life for God and to be continually thankful for the life he has given me. I need to take care of this body in the best way I can. Sometimes my mind gets a little obsessed with food and I cave in. Yes, I know what I am supposed to do, but it is so hard and sometimes I give in which creates a spiraling effect.
@SuzyH I understand how you feel. I have many triggers for non-stop eating. Alcohol, watching TV shows/movies, potlucks, well-meaning people bringing in junk at work, boredom, etc...
I share your goal and strive to meet it daily. Some days require more effort; we can do this.3 -
abowersgirl wrote: »@1991court that happened to me for the first couple of weeks I began exercising but don't give up and make sure to get enough water. Before you know it, it will start melting away faster and faster. I also suggest to take your measurments because one week I saw 0 pounds lost but 1 inch in measurments. You're body will start to change and you will fit into clothes better even if it doesn't seem like it because of the scale.
Thanks for the reply. That was actually the issue I had last week, I would exercise but even my measurements went up. So when I saw that I was up (even just a little) it was like oh boy here we go. I do measurements every Friday, as well as pictures. Since July I have lost around 9 inches (head to toes) and just over 10lbs.4 -

8/26--218.4 Zumba was great yesterday. Installing the closet organizers yesterday took longer and was a lot more work then I thought, but so far so good. I was so focused on the closet yesterday that I hardly drank any water...I can definitely feel it this morning. Plan is to finish putting up the wall paper and installing some more of the closet organizer. I am so sore from yesterday that the plan, assuming the rain holds off, is to go for a long walk.
8/27--219.3 I don't know where that weight came from, I can only assume it's the lack of water I had over the weekend and the soreness from working on the closet organizer...which is now 2/3 done. Regardless, my weight trend is still downward. Forgot to bring my running shoes for a lunch time walk, so going to Zumba tonight and hopefully work on the closet a little this evening.
