9/12 71kg - ok, this is good, maybe I'll manage another small drop this round to get to 70.5 and reach my goal. After a tough boxing class yesterday, running didn't happen this morning, my body needs a rest. Also cancelled yoga tonigh so I can go home early and look after our kitten that was neutered yesterday.
And then, this is not weight loss related, but impacts on my emotional state and therefore my eating. New developments in the work place drama: one of the bosses, who is part of my frustration in the job, is now leaving! This may change things for me... Welcome to the soap opera my work life is turning into...10 -

9/05: 68.6 - That random fluctuation has come back down to normal levels
9/06: 68.4 - Keep dropping down. MFP has just told me that I've lost over 50% of my goal. That's pretty big to me. Been having a really tough time with the puppy the last few days, feeling tired, feeling hungry, feeling lazy. Had a glass of wine last night (really not very good wine, won't be buying that one again) but still kept within my range (all be it right at the top of it). Did a lot more standing and walking and heavy lifting yesterday than normal, so probably fine.
9/07: 68.0 - I do not deserve that. Yesterday wasn't a good day at all. Over all goals. Free breakfast at work (sausages sandwiches) so ate too much then. Saved some for lunch and so had that in addition to my actual lunch. Then I ate dinner even though I wasn't at all hungry. And had some wine. Sigh. Not good for the calories, but I'll get back on it today. The drop on the scales is definitely not fair on myself
9/08: 68.4 - Didn't get out the house, but the puppy had loads of energy yesterday so lots of running around in the garden and plenty of wandering about. Ate massively over my goals. My partner turned up with one of those cook yourself takeaway boxes, which did make logging the calories easy. But also made me realise quite how calorific those are. Half a box (one portion) was over my daily calorie allowance! However, I had a smaller naan and less rice and didn't eat all of the food there, so I've almost certainly over logged for it. Still.
9/09: 68.3 - Good day yesterday. Very busy with Judo, petting dogs and seeing family. Ate at my parents so wasn't in control of my meals. However, made a contentious effort to not overeat when given the option and had a small slices of cake instead of a large slices. And thanks to all that exercise I've ended up in the green anyway.
9/10: 67.8 - Lazy, lazy day. Spent most of it on the sofa trying to motivate myself to do something. And the rest running around after the puppy. Ate well though. Actually kept under my calorie goal, something that was slightly surprising to me as I didn't leave myself very much after breakfast and lunch. Luckily dinner turned out to be lower in calories than I thought it would be, and I even sneaked in a mini milk to my goals. Also: What? 67.x! This soon? I'm not complaining at all, but suddenly I seem to be finding this much easier. Definitely surprising considering I'm not continuously training as much as I used to.
9/11: 68.3 - So I was all ready to go on about how I completely blew my goal yesterday because I was just so darn hungry and I ate all the things. And then I actually go about inputting all my data and...well actually I'm under maintenance. So it's a win. And I realised that I ate basically no carbs in the evening, which might explaining why I was quite so hungry and why my calories weren't as bad as I thought they would be. It was because I didn't actually eat very many calories (shocking that!). Also doesn't help that shark week has just begun and I think I'm coming down with some sort of illness.
9/12: 68.5 - Mentally a crappy day yesterday, I won't be sharing, but I emotionally ate and ate and ate. Worked out a little over maintenance, not including the glass of wine. I would vow to do better today, but honestly I'm feeling equally as bad today, so if I manage maintenance today I think I will be happy.

05/09 Had a pretty active day yesterday, good logging too (tiny bit over - cardio hunger kills me everytime lol). Non-scale goal challenges going well so far this month. Today's aim is to finish at or under my calorie goal and get a good upper body workout in this evening before heading out on the water for an evening row.
06/09 Stayed under calorie goal yesterday, got a lot of exercise in (walked 7km, rowed a couple of km, upper body strength workout), macro split was perfect - for once - until I realised I didn't have as much cereal at home as I thought
10/09 Just back yesterday afternoon from taking part in The Great River Race in London (22 miles rowing from Millwall to Richmond) have some serious DOMS in shoulders and back so expect to be up a bit on the scale the next couple of days, was also carb-loading pre-race.
11/09 Body is feeling a little more alive now, trendweight has been creeping up a bit the last few weeks, don't think my replacement tracker is as accurate as my old one was so switching to TDEE method for a while with a fixed intake of around 2100 cals per day, which should more than allow for my normal walking/strength training over the week, any calories from rowing/running I'll just use as a buffer/bank for weekends. Aim for today is to stay hydrated and stick to planned meals/snacks.
12/09 And the water weight is off, I am up around 1.2lbs from last week which I think is down to mostly lazy logging and partly down to the tracker being a bit inflated on calories, so hopefully switching to TDEE for a while should resolve that (if I stick to it ) Didn't quite stick to my meal plan yesterday, my bosses wife brought me in some Ferrero Rocher for sorting some parcels out for her and I did a bit of emotional eating after having a stressful afternoon. Anyway can't do anything about it now so logged it and moved on and did manage to stay properly hydrated. Today's goals are the same, I've pre-logged the next couple of days, I am trying to reduce the amount of snack stuff I have in the house (counter-productively I have been eating it to reduce it plan is not to buy anymore and get serious with my meal planning sheets again)10 -

OK - after getting back off my holidays towards the end of round 49 and round 50 being a write off as ended up going away, the kids are now back at school, work hours have returned to normal and I now have an uninterrupted 10 days
So back on a proper eating plan, exercise planned in so should be a good 10 days and target this round is to get back under 140lb.
9/05 - 141.50lb - didn't want to see over 140 again but hey ho - not a surprise given August! Good food day planned today so should be off to a good start......
9/06 - 141.00lb - 0.50lb down which is a good start. Was pleasantly surprised this morning as "felt" heavy (if that makes sense??!!) but getting back into drinking plenty of water so may be that ? Today set up to be a good food day with a gym session tonight

9/10 - 142.50lb - weekends - love them but hate them! Didn't weigh over the weekend as got treated to a cuppa in bed in the morning. Rest of the week to re-focus - food planned for today, 12 mile bike ride planned for this evening so hoping all good tomorrow
9/11 - 140.10lb down 2.40lb of weekend whoosh!! Ended up cycling 17 miles last night too and was so good to get out. Food all prepped for the day and gym session tonight so should be a good day - and on target to get back under 140 by the round end. Hope you all have a good one too
9/12 - 140.50lb up 0.40lb ? Don't really have any reason why this should be - food all good yesterday, a tough hour at the gym last night. One of "those" scale days that don't make any real sense. Can only think it may be TOM approaching (although approaching 50, I'm never quite sure these days ). not down, quite happy and feeling so much better getting in a few workouts this week - all is good

9/06 173.0 (+0.4) This "gain" is because I had to eat before weighing in (which I normally don't do). My boyfriend had to wake me up and literally feed me because my blood sugar was so low. Have to be super careful with my insulin dosages since I've lost so much weight. This is the first time this has happened
9/07 172.6 (-0.4) I’m happy as long as there isn’t a huge gain this round. I’ve been blessed with two awesome rounds in a row, so I’ll be happy with whatever Had an amazing workout today, so I’m hoping that it shows on the scale tomorrow 👊🏻
9/08 172.8 (+0.2) Ok, so it didn't show I ate well under my calories and I never eat back exercise calories. This will turn soon, just have to be a bit patient and stop second guessing myself
9/09 172.6 (-0.2) Hahah, weight loss is weird. Yesterday was awesome. Saw some friends I hadn't seen in a long while and we had a great time. Stayed under my calorie goal, but could have done better on the carb intake.

9/11 172.1 (-0.5) Oh no, I forgot to report in yesterday 😱 My weight was 172.6 yesterday though. Just came home from the gym and my glutes are basically on fire. Cut back on the carb intake yesterday and it’s already making me lose weight.. Going to continue on a low/moderate carb intake, but it’s easy to slide out of it because carbs taste amazing 😂

@Deviette emotional eating all around the place yesterday it seems, hope you have a better day today. Is there something you can do to distract yourself away from fridge-raiding? I know it's easier not to (I ate 4 mini dairy milk bars and half a box of ferrero rocher yesterday so I should practice what I preach )

9/06 - 60.7kg good girl, not very low carb but quite small quantities of food, 1 h yoga, stop eating @ 17:00
9/07 - 60.5kg, relatively low carb if you exclude the cake , circuit training, stop eating @ 16:00
9/08 - 60.6 kg, tried a little bit cake again based on the idea that if no effect on yesterday weight, no effect today. wrong conclusion...
9/09 - 60.4kg - i was expecting bigger damage from late dinner and wine but i kept it quite light overall plus a class of spinning that gave me same space
9/10 - 60.8kg...I need a challenge on how to get over the weekend without raiding the fridge from 5 to 5 min
9/11 - 60.6 kg, difficult , difficult, slow progress , good on sport, average on food.
9/12 - 60.4 kg, déjà vu, still average on food low on calories but not low on carb, played 1 h tennis, hope I do not repeat this round pattern and jump up tomorrow

9/11-168.6 - Day 5 - good grief it is still working!!! Not even hungry! No cravings! Good grief this is amazing. Now Phase 1 is really restrictive. No bread, sugar, root vegetables, tomatoes or fruit and aside from a bite of beet, tomato and watermelon that I made by mistake (prepping dinner zoneout) I have stayed faithful to the plan. I am stunned. I am thrilled!!!!! Down 5.4 lbs so far!

9/05 - 251.4...100 oz of water, under calories and 35 min. walk.
9/06 - 251.4...100 oz of water, under calories and 80 mins. of walking.
9/07 - 251.4...125 oz of water, under calories by 7 and 25 min. walk. Drank extra water in an attempt to try and fill myself up because I was craving junk. Was able to stay away from the cake and cheesecake but ate a chocolate bar. Normally I would have broken down and eaten all of it.
9/08 - 252.4...66 oz of water, extremely over calories and a 60 min. walk. Yesterday was a planned off day, I still need them once a week or I would probably give up on everything. As time goes and I lose more I'm hoping to cut them back. On track again today though.
9/09 - 252.4
9/10 - 252.4 66 oz of water (was going to have more but my son had a bad night and I had to go to bed with him, super early) under calories and 58 mins. of walking. Hoping to see the numbers start going down again tomorrow.
9/11 - 251.4...100 oz of water, just under calories and 54 mins. of walking. Happy to see the number down again today. Still hoping to get under 250 this round.
9/12...No weigh in today. My son was up at 4am for the 4th day in a row and I'm just to tired and cranky to function. Yesterday wasn't a good day, I binge watched a show and mindlessly ate junk all day. Today hasn't started any better...chocolate for breakfast. I don't like coffee (or any hot liquids really) and I think I use chocolate as a caffeine/sugar pick me up to stay awake.

9/07: 133.6 (same) shocked I stayed the same. I ate over my calories including late night ice cream.
9/08: 133.5 I've been working hard and back on track calorie counting!
9/09: 134.3 gained and not surprised. was my splurge day yesterday and ate Imos and ate late. i controlled myself and didn't go crazy so not too bad considering!
9/10: 134.5 gained and surprised. I did drink a lot of coffee calories but was under my goal intake 🤔😥

@airbeat yes ease into it. A lot of people throw themselves into exercising, thinking all or nothing but it doesn't work. They do tend to hurt themselves or feel intimidated with going back again. Take it slow and just increase or do a little better everyday you go. You got this!

Continuing on anti-inflammatory diet, which I started about 4 weeks ago, and focusing on good food, walks, meditation, and moderate weight training.
Goals:
Food ~~ 1330 calories until I hit 140, then slowly increase to ma; P 15-25%, C 35-50%, F 25-35%; anti-inflammatory diet.
Exercise: 60 minutes/day of walking/swimming + daily stretching.

I made a stab at entering calories from the potluck. Happily, there was plenty of food I could eat (I was afraid I'd get 2 pieces of shrimp and a few baby carrots!). But no, I was quite full by the end. I'm making the most of the weekend as things get crazy this week - teaching a new writing class, taking a new class, integrative doctor & dietitian appointments, on top of usual work (writing). I'm still debating buying a standing desk -- anyone here use one? I may just take my laptop to Office Depot and ask if I can stand there and type for a while to see if I like it.

My Monday & Tuesday meal schedules are messed up for the next 6 weeks due to evening classes (taking one, teaching one). I'm trying to eat a big lunch to hold me until I get home around 9, then have some fruit, but last night I came home really hungry. Maybe I'll try a decent lunch and a light supper around 4:30. Another work in progress!
