Yesterdays NSV was doing reverse crunches. When I started at my gym, I had no core strength and couldn't even do one. Yesterday, I did multiple sets!
My goals include Reverse curls, pull ups/chin ups and "proper" push ups. I do lady ones atm, as for the others, I can't even at the moment. But I plan to!16 -
Tonight I finally made it back to the gym to complete a workout. I tried to talk myself out of it, then snapped myself out of it, even when my partner pointed out that it was already 8pm which would make it around 9 by the time I got back. I would usually prefer to get home by 8:30 most nights seeing as I need to get up at 4:30 to take my dog for a walk and ride one of my horses before work but I figured since it's Saturday night, it won't matter if I'm out a bit later since I don't have to be up at ungodly hour.20

I was amazed that he spent six hours in a pool.6

Two NSV for today!
First I went on a 70 minute bike ride today and I felt great afterwards! 2 months ago I could barely make it around the block.
And second might be TMI but my husband just told me my rear is getting firmer. All those squats are paying off.20 -

A payoff, indeed. Well done, Heidi!10 -
Sort of a mixed NSV. Two years ago I bought these cute shorts on sale that were too tight, I figured I would lose weight by snowbird season and they would be great. Well this spring they would not even zip up. Today I tried them on and they fit!!! The sad thing is I don't like them, they are Bermuda shorts and would fit right in with the geezer snowbirds, but I just don't like them!!!18

When I'm in China on business for up to 2 months at a time, I have nothing but time on weekends. I have been using Saturday morning to push myself. Got some great advice from other athletes on proper fueling before and during too avoid heading heart beat and dizziness afterwards. That made the difference.
I was never an athlete before.
But I think finally earned the title.
An added benefit is that the Chinese swimmers likes than half my age, I'm 57, are trying to get better and asking my advice.25 -
Sorry for the triple NSV but I just keep finding them!
I was flipping out feeling a hard spot on my chest thinking it was a tumor (I have had 2 benign tumors in the past 10 years in my lung/throat area). But I realized it was just the bones in my chest that were too much fat covering before. Lol31 -
I had a Dr appt on Monday September 10th, and My AC1 I am a Type 2 Diabetic was down to 6.6. When I started on my journey on May 5th it was 10.8. Once it is under 7% for a diabetic it is considered in range. I want it under 6%. Oh and as of today I have lost 54.2 pounds. Plus I am starting to enjoy riding my bike again.38

We've been eating down the pantry over the last few weeks and there was a single serving left of a red lentil soup I'd made. It's actually pretty good...but I'd had it for dinner two nights running and I desperately wanted to order Indian food off of Grubhub. I managed to put Grubhub away and I'm currently eating my soup! And, now that it's in the process of being finished, I can move on to a new recipe for next week's meal prep!21

Worked hard today - Strength training, Cardio, yardwork... had a gazillion calories more than normal, today.... didn't eat them all. Could have eaten more chocolate... but didn't. Didn't really feel like I needed it enough to make my screaming glutes stand up and walk to the kitchen, again. lol.27

WOW! This is amazing progress. It is incredible what an impact weight loss can have on those numbers! Amazing job girl!10 -
My ankles are reappearing!31

I paraded around the house after my shower just because the bath towel fit all the way around, and tucked in securely!34

Just checked my BMI with last Monday's weight and realised that I'm no longer obese, but overweight. Still 13 kg. to go to get to my healthy BMI range. I know, I can do it.37

Yesterday at my 5k race I wore a fitted shirt which stopped at my waist instead of a loose racerback which came down over my hips! No one pointed and laughed at my tummy, and I look fine in pictures. I still have a pooch of flab and loose skin below the waist, but I'm getting enough confidence to wear what I want.32

Had to go to urgent care for a minor injury (blog post here if you want details: sad story involving neighbor's cat), and my BP was 134/87. That's the first time in my recent memory that the higher number - the systolic - has been below 150.19

Even though I had a bachelor party DAY and NIGHT - no tracking, no worrying about my weight (yes I weighed myself and went up like 4 pounds) - not worried AT ALL. Oh, and just a little Non Scale Victory.

I put on some knee socks - and they came all the way up to my knees!!!!37

Went clothes shopping for a new pair of jeans as I have exactly 2 pairs of pants that stay up without a belt/drawstring... Common weight loss issue... The clerk suggested a slim fit, skinny 27L... Holy crap a 27!!!! In juniors. Then she said that I'm lucky that I can pull off any style of jeans I want because I'm "athletic", so I never look weird in different style. A 27, and being decribed as "athletic" by a stranger.42

This is seriously the best feeling! This isn't recent – it happened about 10 years ago the first time I lost weight. I was browsing swimsuits in the plus section and a saleslady came up to me and said, "Honey, these are women's. Your section is over here!" and pointed to the regular size section. I still remember that vividly.23 -
I had a second NSV that didn't dawn on me was an NSV, till I thought about it. Took kiddos to McDonald's, was asked to help fetch a child that was throwing a tantrum in the play area as "I can get in there and get him" by thier very distraught parents. And, yep I easily crawled through the tunnels and stuff to fetch the 4 year old refusing to leave and throwing a fit.33

My feet are getting skinnier. I put on my heels today and they keep feeling looser at the sides. Maybe in 10 pounds or so I can get regular width shoes instead of wide width. (:29

From being at a place where I wasn't sure if the largest size the store carried would fit me to getting a new winter coat ( yes its coming ) and fitting into a size medium easily. From size 20 to an 8/10 currently. Goal is size 633

I have been at a stall/gain cycle for the past 6-7 months really, can't quite seem to get anywhere lower in weight atm.
Was worried about my 'interview shirt' this morning. Yunno, the one top I have that looks decent enough for an interview and isn't really baggy yet comfy (plus I get to wear jeans and tshirt at my current job now which is wonderful - but does mean less work clothes have been purchased)
It still fits easily and doesn't pull around the buttons like I was worried it would, and the gfs jacket still fit well enough to go over the top! yay!
So although I have gained, it isn't showing in my clothes as yet, and I am starting to feel like I can get back on track and actually stick to a deficit for more than a week!32 -

I did not eat my feelings when someone called me a fat @$$ when I was walking to my car. I journaled my feelings, played my piano, looked at my trending downward weight and cried a little bit and moved on. Success! Although not going to lie, I hate people a little more now, present company excluded.
I'd have to bite my tongue and suppress the retort that it would be better to be a fat *kitten* than a dumb *kitten*. By not being a dumb *kitten*, I know better than to make fun of others.
But I made many trips to the principals office years ago when I was in school and you could still get a spanking for being a smart *kitten*.

Pulling on the first pair of tights I grabbed this morning, without worrying about whether or not the legs would be long enough to reach my crotch or the top large enough to fit around my middle without rolling down over the course of the day.
Seriously, it's now 4:30 and I haven't had to adjust the damned things ONCE.
