    @bretticus87 Welcome. This is an excellent group for support and tips.

    @puttyputty WHERE ARE YOU?

    @SarahHW18 What plan are you following? If LCHF or Keto eat some extra fat. It is much more satisfying than carbs/sugar.

    @lolakinks All of the sugar in that Nutella and chocolate bar are bogging you down.

    Failed too soon. I ate Nutella with a spoon and it wasn't enough I ate a whole chocolate bar. Don't know why I'm doing this... And I'm very busy and tired these days with work, for this reason, I cannot go to the gym. If I've been motivated enough I believe I could go, but I'm not yet... I hope today I won't disappoint myself.

    I am also a chocoholic. I turned to dark chocolate with 70% or more cacao to solve this problem. I eat mine at night when I settle in with tv then find my cravings hit the hardest. I started with 72% cacao (these are much more bitter than regular dark chocolate or milk chocolate). It was not hard to adapt. Slowly over time I moved to 85% cacao. I now use 90% but, trust me, it's bitter. That is why I slowly adapted. I started with 2 squares per night. Now I usually only need one. I buy what is on sale, but honestly usually use Sam's Choice brand from Walmart because it actually has zero carbs (in the 90% choice). All of these only add a handful of calories for one large square and very little to no carbs. Because I know I'm getting chocolate every night, the temptation for that is gone.

    Another trick I use is protein shakes. Premier Protein has a low sugar low net carb chocolate flavor with 30g protein so I beat my cravings while getting in more protein. I use it as a snack sometimes. I also buy Slimfast Protein Smoothie Mix 110 cals per scoop which I add to sugarfree Almond Milk (30 cals). 20g protein. It is a total of 140 calories, 2 Net Carbs, only 1 g of sugar and yummy chocolate. Equate also has premade one's that are comparable with Premier Protein brand. The battle now is for other cravings. The secret for me is to find substitutes. Best wishes.

    9/25 - 151.5 - I had to hop on the scale a couple times to believe it this morning. I hope it sticks around!
    9/26 - 151 - Wow, 1 lb. from my top goal weight. I know my weight will be bouncing up and down over the next week due to water, stress, etc., but seeing this number makes me so happy this morning!

    Thanks for reminding me that we will all have fluctuations with these daily weigh-ins, but that we should celebrate and embrace each victory, no matter what. I'm down a little more today too so I'm going to be happy with you! Congratulations you! You are doing so well.
