9/25 155.6 well well well, look who decided to show lol. So apparently my mind can't adjust fast enough to my new weight (especially because I thinks it's the fastest I have ever lost) so being apart of a few groups I accidently weighed in last weekend at 166.6 instead of 156.6 😣😣 oops. Well you are all witnesses to the proof I have of my actual weight lol. But even still, every morning I still have to check 3 or 4 times because I can't believe it. Hopefully the next 10 pounds won't be as unbelievable.
9/26 154.4 whoooooooooosh!! Why, no clue. I did work out hard yesterday but still... wow. Today I have been having some anxiety. I have worked out hard and have been eating normally. I don't starve and I don't deny myself (unless it's super junk food, then that's all will power) I know mentally I have been doing everything right and my quick weight loss is all activity and portion control....but I'm starting to feel scared. I'm scared that it will be so easy to gain it all back if I jump the wagon again..I'm scared of having to do this again for 10000 time if i slack. I am looking forward to improve and not be re set into my old ways but who knows what the future holds. The only reassurance I have is not all my rounds have been perfect and weeks like last week have happened ( I was so hungry all week and pretty much had the worst eating week since I have started) but my gains haven't been too large and I still end it with losses. I am assuming as long as I never binge again I will be fine...but I don't know.

I am a 50 year old 5'4" woman. I am trying to get healthier to avoid diabetes and all of the problems that come from being overweight.
I have found this challenge to be both rewarding and frustrating! Looking at my weight daily has been a real eye opener to see all of the fluctuations and how a high carb day will affect me and the loss for 2-3 days after. On the other hand when I look at the big picture and the averages it has been a consistent loss except for two rounds. Round 53 was my 50 birthday celebrations that upped my weight for a few days.
I need to step up my game if I want to meet any of my goals.

9/25 - Tuesday - 183.8 - Back at it after taking last round off. Was feeling down about a few days of increased scale numbers due to "taking a weekend off" and TOM. Took a few days to remind myself that the scale is just data, not judgement. It was a bit of struggle to eat well during this time - the comfort food cravings have been strong. But last nights NSV came when I revamped my grocery list to be a little more veggie centric. Got my low carb wraps for lunch again rather than sub rolls - chicken and ground turkey instead of red meat and more red meat, and avoided most of the desserts. I'm being more mindful of overeating - I didnt need the last piece of pizza I ate last night, but I had logged it so I felt justified - today I'm acknowledging that I overate beyond my feeling of fullness. This round I really just want to revamp habits that have been working for me and start trusting the process again - Wake up early, drink shake, take fish oil, lots of water at work, AM meds, eat packed lunch, have a 3pm snack, pm meds, cook dinner at home, take fish oil, walk dog, get a good nights sleep.
9/26 - Wednesday - 183.8 - A good day yesterday! Listened to my hunger cues - lunch was not appealing - ate most of my calories later on in the day but did not overeat! Gave last 1/4 of my burger to DH! Forgot fish oil but the habit is improving. Lots of water, need to get on that today! Dinner at parents house tonight - mom is a healthy cook so just need to reign in my portions and log the best I can. Visualizing 182 sticking around this round!

9/25--217.1 I First time in over a week I've gotten back to my normal water drinking levels.
9/26--216.4 Back to my pre-trip weight and trend weight. Tonight is yoga, I haven't gone in 2 weeks, I so need it. I've been thinking about getting back into weightlifting, since I have stopped going to my kettlebell club. I recently moved and the club changed it's class schedule, so it's just not convenient anymore. I'm going to get a 3 day pass from a nearby gym and try it out and see if I like it, if not there are a couple of other gyms that I can try out. I'm not a big gym person, but I do want to lift weights again and this gym also has an indoor pool which is nice too.

@bretticus87 Welcome. This is an excellent group for support and tips.
@puttyputty WHERE ARE YOU?
@SarahHW18 What plan are you following? If LCHF or Keto eat some extra fat. It is much more satisfying than carbs/sugar.
@lolakinks All of the sugar in that Nutella and chocolate bar are bogging you down.1 -
This is why I never forget to weigh in the morning. Step 1. Go potty Step 2. Get on the scale Step 3 Go make coffee.
It’s hard to miss the weigh in when it’s staring at you! LOL10 -

What we need to succeed is a sustainable way of eating, not a DIET we go on and off.
This is NOT A DIET. It’s a LIFESTYLE.
9/25 130.5
9/26 131.5 Thank you for your prayers. We had a positive outcome!8 -
9/26 85.9 kg (189.3 lbs)
Failed too soon. I ate Nutella with a spoon and it wasn't enough I ate a whole chocolate bar. Don't know why I'm doing this... And I'm very busy and tired these days with work, for this reason, I cannot go to the gym. If I've been motivated enough I believe I could go, but I'm not yet... I hope today I won't disappoint myself.
I am also a chocoholic. I turned to dark chocolate with 70% or more cacao to solve this problem. I eat mine at night when I settle in with tv then find my cravings hit the hardest. I started with 72% cacao (these are much more bitter than regular dark chocolate or milk chocolate). It was not hard to adapt. Slowly over time I moved to 85% cacao. I now use 90% but, trust me, it's bitter. That is why I slowly adapted. I started with 2 squares per night. Now I usually only need one. I buy what is on sale, but honestly usually use Sam's Choice brand from Walmart because it actually has zero carbs (in the 90% choice). All of these only add a handful of calories for one large square and very little to no carbs. Because I know I'm getting chocolate every night, the temptation for that is gone.
Another trick I use is protein shakes. Premier Protein has a low sugar low net carb chocolate flavor with 30g protein so I beat my cravings while getting in more protein. I use it as a snack sometimes. I also buy Slimfast Protein Smoothie Mix 110 cals per scoop which I add to sugarfree Almond Milk (30 cals). 20g protein. It is a total of 140 calories, 2 Net Carbs, only 1 g of sugar and yummy chocolate. Equate also has premade one's that are comparable with Premier Protein brand. The battle now is for other cravings. The secret for me is to find substitutes. Best wishes.9/25 - 151.5 - I had to hop on the scale a couple times to believe it this morning. I hope it sticks around!
9/26 - 151 - Wow, 1 lb. from my top goal weight. I know my weight will be bouncing up and down over the next week due to water, stress, etc., but seeing this number makes me so happy this morning!
Thanks for reminding me that we will all have fluctuations with these daily weigh-ins, but that we should celebrate and embrace each victory, no matter what. I'm down a little more today too so I'm going to be happy with you! Congratulations you! You are doing so well.

9/25 - 140. Yay! I've been waiting for this number for a few days. Happy to see it and trying not to celebrate it with a whole box of cheesy crackers!
9/26 - 140. Happy to see this number stick around. There was a bottle of champagne in my fridge purchased a few weeks ago ready for hitting 140. I enjoyed a glass last night, but didn't feel obligated to finish the bottle. I'm very hopeful that I'll see the 130s this round and so glad for this challenge that has helped me make it this far.

13th Round for me: Female 65, height – 5’
Last round I wrote “I’m hoping that [planning meals & gym] will kick up the loss and I can make it under 150 by Christmas.” Having not done any figuring of course. Now that I figure it out there are 8 rounds before Christmas. So that is a possible goal for me but doesn’t allow for cheat days. Hmm, wonder if there were no cheat days where I would end up? So my goal for this round is – No cheat days where I snack in the evenings. No getting carried away with extra large portions at meals because I like that food or I’m stressed.Round 39 (1st for me) – SW 163, loss -.2Round 54 – SW 158.4, goal EW – under 158
Round 40 – on holidays, gain +1.6
Round 41 – SW 164.4, loss -2
Round 42 - SW: 162.6, loss -.6
Round 43 – SW 162, loss -.4
Round 44 – SW 161.6, loss -1.6
Round 45 – SW 160.8, gain +1
Round 46 – SW 161.8, gain +.6
Round 47 – SW 162.4, loss -2.2
Round 48 – SW 160.2, missed most of this round and Round 49 as I was away without computer or scale.
Round 50 – SW 160.2, loss -.8
Round 51 – SW 160.8, loss -1
Round 52 – on holidays, no scale
Round 53 – SW 159.8, loss -1.4
Ultimate Goal Weight – 128; Hoping to be under 140 by end of June. This is less than 1 lb. per round but as I realize that may not be possible as I get lower (close to 27 rounds till then so 1 lb per round would put me at 131).
Day/Weight/Comment
9/25, Tuesday – 158.4 So great to see this number. I know as I get to the lower 150’s, I have way less foot, ankle, knee issues and can walk a lot further. So looking forward to that.
9/26, Wednesday – 158.6 No gym today as have too much to do getting ready for company next week. Should keep me active though.

Round 45 End Weight = 164.9 (0.9 lbs lost)
Round 46 End Weight = 159.6 (5.2 lbs lost)
Round 47 End Weight = 157.2 (2.4 lbs lost)
Round 48 End Weight = 155.2 (2.0 lbs lost)
Round 49 End Weight = 151.2 (4.0 lbs lost)
Round 50 End Weight = 149.9 (1.3 lbs lost)
Round 51 End Weight = 146.2 (3.7 lbs lost)
Round 52 End Weight = 143.7 (2.5 lbs lost)
Round 53 End Weight = 143.1 (0.6 lbs lost)
Stats = 5'4 female, age 48
Highest Weight = 172 lbs (June 18, 2018)
Initial Goal Weight = 139 lbs (last weighed this is 2013)
Ultimate Goal Weight = 129 lbs (last weighed this in 2011)
Round 54 Goal: Range of 139.9-142.0 (Either my weigh-loss is really slowing down and I need a more reasonable goal OR I am due for a big loss after the last round and a more aggressive goal is possible)
Exercise Plan = The Betty Rocker 90 Day Challenge (in weeks 10-11), run outside 3-4 times a week, get 8,000-10,000 steps/day
Nutrition Plan = Continue to limit gluten, dairy, sugar, diet soda, alcohol & eat non-processed foods, protein/fruit/veg at every meal, complex carbs at breakfast and post workout meal, drink plenty of water.
9/25 = 143.7 (up .6 from yesterday) Little bounce back up, went out to dinner last night, made good choices, most likely under calories but retaining water. My scale still has my water percentage up over 2% from it's normal number. Yesterday was a rest day in my 90 day challenge, but back at it today with day 64 of 90. Plus lots and lots of lemon & cucumber water today. I'm looking for a whoosh to be coming this week! Welcome to all out new group members!
9/26 = 142.9 (down .8 from yesterday) Small drop down from my Sunday weight. If the water percentage on my scale is correct, I'm still retaining water though. Yesterday I really didn't eat much, wasn't very hungry until it was too late at night. I do 16:8 so once the window closes, I'm done for the night. I completed day 64 of 90 workout yesterday and it was the hardest one yet. It really got me! Today is day 65 of 90, I haven't looked at it yet to see what it is, but I imagine it will be a tough one as well!

Day/Weight/Comment:
9/25 - 256.2 - Jumping off the Keto wagon & back to a whole foods approach which worked better for me. Gotta start the exercise back up in a week when the broken toe heals completely. Happy to have broken any sugar addiction long ago. I can do this!!
9/26 - 256.4 - Well, that's not too bad a jump up. I knew going off Keto I'd gain a bit of water weight. Trying to switch gears without a plan doesn't work. Menu planning is what my morning has been all about!
