10/25 149 Back here again, but with new motivation. I found an old tablet yesterday and was looking through old photos of myself, and got inspired to lower my goal weight to 134.5. Weight loss is first and mostly about psychology, and it really helped to see myself slimmer, smiling, looking like I felt great. Yesterday I had a really good day, lowered my calories back to 1200 and started wearing my fitbit again. Refocusing on my macros, since higher protein works best for me (carbs 25%, fat 45%, protein 30%) and seeking to hit that protein goal of 90g daily. These past 5 rounds I have indulged plenty, tasted all the foods I was desiring, and have come back to the realization that I feel better when I eat more simply. Skipping breakfast unless I am hungry, lots of salads, and grilled lean protein. Occasional treats, not daily. Looking forward to this round more than I have in a while! Have a great day everyone!
10/26 148.4 Dedicated to staying out of the 150's this round as I stay on course. Candy is in the house but I am safe! Tomorrow night we are going to a big Halloween party, so I will save some calories to snack there, but stay away from sweets. I have had enough sweets over the past several rounds to be ready to stay away.

10/27 149 Did not walk yesterday due to escorting mom to dr. and son to DMV (yay! he got his permit!) so lots and lots of sit and wait time. Ate over calories quite a bit last night and not the best choices in spite of my oh so motivated talk to myself. Today is a new day, and I am up and at em early ready for it to be outstanding! Every moment is an opportunity to begin again, have a great Saturday everyone!

@rainykatie -- Your post made me laugh. Yesterday morning I thought it was raining, so I looked at the weather on my phone, which said mostly clear. So I put on my walking clothes and then hopped in the car to take my son to school and then walk. It was drizzly, but I was dressed, so I walked in the rain. I was so happy that I had looked at my phone instead of stepping outside! I kind of like walking in the rain...I just don't like starting off in the rain!

This is my fourth round. I think the best part of this challenge is that in recording the weight every day with a comment, I talk myself down from the hype that comes with weighing myself every day. Sometimes, anyway. I have to say I still got frustrated with just 0.5 loss last challenge in 10 days. But still, noting that I lost 4 lbs last challenge, I did sort of maintain perspective! Slow and steady wins the race! We can do this!!

10/25 171.5 -- This is so frustrating. Yesterday walked for an hour, hour strength class at YMCA, hour of zumba. Finished day with 1000+ calorie deficit. Weighed in a pound heavier. Everyday I'm hoping for the big whoosh....and instead it's up 1 or 2 lbs and then down 1/2. Oh well. I feel good. I'm not starving. My pants fit.

10/26 168.5 -- I think this might be the real whoosh....although yesterday a couple hours after eating bacon and fathead pizza for lunch I got queasy and just couldn't fathom dinner, so was well under calories. 15000 steps yesterday including a walk and zumba. Also did water aerobics. Hoping this number sticks.

10/27 168 -- So excited to be in a new decade that I forgot to post it yesterday! Queasiness was gone yesterday. Hour walk and water aerobics. Went out to Chinese restaurant for late lunch. Skipped the rice and had spicy chicken and veggie stir fry and pea greens. Then...just cheese sticks and peanuts for dinner because I went with my son (who plays in band) to the football game.

🎀 10/25 - 178.4 - An early weigh in, but I'm certain this is true. An impromptu day out with a friend threw me off of my normal pattern. Did not drink enough water. Did not drink my electrolytes. Ate POPCORN. I bought some popcorn kernels to pop corn for my husband. WHY did I eat 2 cups of popcorn? I don't even eat corn or grains. So I deserve this temporary gain.
🎀10/26 - 178.8 - Even though my weight dropped to 176.6 , don't forget who I am. Super Spongebarb. Lol. It will come back down. I looked back over the past 2 weeks of my diary and I've had more than a few days eating less protein than I should. Gotta correct that.

10/26 150 Yayyy! Definitely made me happy to see this number this morning. I shared a story on my personal page yesterday that when I went for my walk, I seen an elderly lady that I met several months ago and haven't seen since. She knew who I was once we started talking, but she said the reason she didn't recognize me at first was my weight loss. Feels great to be noticed 😊
10/27 150 I will be away the rest of the weekend, so I won't have access to a scale tomorrow. Will try and still post though. I am going to a fall festival tonight and have no idea what kind of foods there will be. Plan to eat light!

Oct 25 - 206.6 everything is going so well! I feel great. I hope I don’t mess it up today. I don’t have lunch or supper planned and have a Halloween dance at my daughters school.
Oct 26 - 206.2 I guess things worked out well yesterday. I found something for lunch and dinner that was within my range. At the Halloween dance there was no food which is a nice change - to go to an event that is really just about the fun of dressing up and the spirit of Halloween! Now the challenge of the weekend ahead! My goal is to try and get some time today to pre plan my meals.
Oct 27 - 207.4 I wasn’t going to post but I know by posting it will help me today. I guess I went a little overboard yesterday. It’s also the TOM so I’m hoping everything will be better tomorrow.

I have lost 106 pounds so far and my goal is to get down to between 10-12% body fat (Currently about 16.1%) and then slowly bulk to gain muscle. These last 10 lbs. or so have really been giving me fits, so I thought I would join this challenge to give me a little extra motivation.

10/25 186.6 - Had a pretty good day. Got a late night lift in about midnight last night with 2 miles (1 before, 1
after) on the treadmill. Need to do better on sleep. Averaging about 4 hours per night this week.

10/26 186.6 - Yesterday had an active day. Did a triceps and abs session and then ran a treadmill 5k at an easy
pace (6.5) for just under 29 minutes. Had about 15,000 steps along with the workout, so got to eat
some extra calories yesterday (2239). Deadlifts await today.
10/27 187.4 - Normal fluctuation. Didn't get my workout in because I was gonna go after watching World Series Game 3. 18 innings and 7:20 later...it was 2:30 am here when game ended. So i will try to double up today on my workouts. Also ate calories that go on today's diary last night during game after midnight so that explains the gain.

10/25 – 58.7kg Exercised for 30min yesterday and ate healthy breakfast and lunch and ended up eating heavy dinner. I tend to eat more for dinners should try to control this.

10/26 – 58.5kg didn’t exercise at all yesterday, finished my dinner early rather than having late night dinners I decided to eat early and I am happy to see the difference. Will try to stick to this plan.

10/27 – 58.3kg Spent some time in the morning to exercise. I realized how difficult it is to burn calories and then how easy it is to eat all those calories, so the whole day I was very choosy and careful about what I ate. I went out with friends and I said no to Pizzzaaa I can’t believe I did that!! Wow! and the prize for that is what I saw in the morning today a drop of 0.2kg! yay!!

10/25 131.0 Met my friend Amy at the gym yesterday did 20 minutes on the treadmill and 2 1/2 minutes on the elliptical. I know that’s not much, but the gym is remodeling and have no ladies room and I really needed one. I hadn’t been on the elliptical for probably three years and it’s been almost 2 since I last did the treadmill except a few days last month when Amy and I started doing this together. Searched out my HRM and need to update the settings- the last time I used it I weighed 174!
10/26 131.0 Met Amy at the gym yesterday. Guild meeting last night and I didn’t snack on ANY of the goodies available. I didn’t even look at them!
10/27 130.5 Dinner at friends last night. Pork ribs and roasted Brussels sprouts. Had 1 adult beverage. Today my sewing friends are coming over. I’m making a keto casserole and more Brussels sprouts! Also Cream Cheese Fudge, another keto recipe.

10/25 182 I just maintained last round but hoping to break down into the 170s for this round! Halloween candy is my weakness but I’m planning a few fasting days to help off set it all.

10/26 181.8 its a start in the right direction! Focus of the day: drinking enough water 💧

10/27 181.2 yay! I went to a yoga class last night. It was more of a meditation with long stretching positions using props like cushions and blocks for support. I think we did only 7 positions for the entire 1.5 hours and it was WONDERFUL. I stretched out some tight muscles, and the best was when we put or legs up in the wall. I think it really helped move my lymph flow. I’m going to make it part of my routine and go twice a week.

I think Eddy has touched me because something about him reminds me so much of my Maggie. I've finally figured it out. It's his color, and his expression which reminds me of my own dear late Cocker Spaniel. That face!!! He's precious. Thanks so much for sharing.

Another great way to look at things. Today I woke up craving the lasagna special at our local restaurant (pasta equals too many carbs). I could picture myself ordering it for lunch. @sdelpapa I eat up to an hour before bed. I am not saying that is the best way to go. It's just how I sometimes do it. I am an "in bed watching TV" snacker. However, what I eat I usually have planned into my daily macros. If I don't allow that, I will usually binge eat. My snacks are either dark chocolate 72% or higher (I eat 90%). or nuts such as walnuts or almonds. On occasion I've had a tablespoon of peanut butter if I also want protein. I am going to try the snack that @quiltingjaine mentioned: peanut butter with a bit of dark cocoa and a touch of stevia. I would eat that right off the spoon s.l.o.w.l.y. so it lasts a bit. I also intermittent fast so whatever time my snack ends - my 16 hour fast begins. So I do try to be somewhat reasonable with my time choices. My two meals on the fast are later in the day so it helps me get through my late night. I never ever let the snack stop me from fasting. I know there is a lot of information about late night eating, digesting, fat storage, fat burn and more out there. Some of it contradicts the other. I have no idea exactly what is best or what matters and what simply does not. It would be interesting to see the views or information others have on the subject. This I know for sure about me......I must avoid bingeing at night.
