25/10 Started including my trendweight as that is what I tend to use for my weekly weigh ins rather than my actual weight. I got a quick weights session in after work yesterday, before I rowed 7.5km (to the pub and back ). Today's goals are to enjoy my rest day and eat below maintenance, I take a couple of days around maintenance just before shark week to stop my cravings spiralling totally out of control.
26/10 Had a good rest day, 10000 steps but no intentional exercise and enjoyed pizza and a couple of craft beers, calories were actually under deficit total for the day, nevermind maintenance so that was a bonus. Today's goal is to stay sensible whilst travelling over this bank holiday weekend, I won't be weighing in til Monday now as I will be away in Galway
31/10 Had a lovely weekend in Galway, food/drink evened out to about maintenance over the weekend and did plenty of walking. Didn't get as much exercise done Monday & Tuesday as I'd have liked as I had to spend a good bit of time working on call. Feeling quite slovenly as a result. Hopefully the rain will hold off an I can maybe get out for a run after my weights tonight. Goal for today is to trial a 10 minute timer/breathing exercise if I get a stress craving.

I’m getting really close to maintenance weight. However, with the holidays coming up, I’d like to drop a few more pounds to give me some breathing room when I inevitably eat and drink too much.

10/25 - 146.5 - I'm happy I didn't have a bump up from yesterday.
10/26 - 146.5 - 3 days at the same weight is very unusual for me. I'm glad I didn't bounce up before the weekend!
10/27 - 147 - Well, here's the bounce. I had half a philly chicken gyro for supper last night and although I ate below maintenance for the day, I'm sure that sandwich had plenty of sodium. No regrets though, it was delicious and we only get carry out food a couple times a month. Back to more healthy eating for the rest of the weekend.
10/28 - 146.5 - We had tilapia and green beans last night and I passed on the mashed potatoes. My husband made no-bake cookies though and I had to have a half cookie. I will probably cave and have another one today, but he only makes them a couple times a year.
10/29 - 146.5 - I had a work conference today and ate out for lunch. I'm sure I'll have another bump up from the sodium. I'm eating out again tomorrow and will try to keep the choices a little healthier. This has been a bumpy week for me with all the extra restaurant food and cookies. I'm glad I'm in this thread, otherwise I may have gone overboard with all the food.
10/30 - 147 - I'm not surprised and tomorrow probably won't be any better. Back to a normal day at work for the next few days and back to the water and healthier food.
10/31 - 147 - Back to the office and better eating, water, and steps today.

10/25— 145.8 I ate Mexican for lunch yesterday with a business group, but was very careful (but I do love Guacamole!) Then I binged on chocolate candy at our meeting and was ashamed of myself. However, I am SO proud of myself that I didn’t let that become a terrible day for the rest of the day! Instead, after that, I regained control of myself, got in extra exercise, drank lots of water and had only 5 broiled shrimp and some steamed veggies for dinner. As of right now, I did NOT gain! Lost .2 in fact. THAT is a success!
10/26—145.8 Thankful that it stayed the same. Was afraid that chocolate might show up this morning, but it didn’t. YAY! Raining hard here today, so outdoor steps will be a challenge.
10/27—145.2 Slow but steady. I’m good with that!
10/28—144.4 I’m so glad I have come back to this group! It really does help me focus and make better choices throughout the day. I’ve been in maintenance, but was slipping into some, not really bad habits, but habits that will not serve me well in the long haul. I think checking in here everyday will help me continue to be a healthier version of myself.
10/29—145.8 Well I knew that was too good to be true. Our bodies are such teasers sometimes, aren’t they? Will start chipping away at it again. My body has come to really love maintenance. Snacked on too many almonds yesterday and didn’t drink enough water.
10/30—145.8 This is my body’s favorite weight. I’ve been here a lot over the last few months during maintenance.
10/31–145.8 Still here. Even had a few pieces of Halloween candy yesterday, but increased my activity level to offset it, so it’s all good. I’m perfectly happy here :-)

@quiltingjaine you’re right! Candy + restaurant foods like pizza and McDonalds are definitely the culprits for my gain! I’m back down now after eating a few days back at home.3

10/25 191 -met my goal a day late! Did well with not over eating. QUESTION: how many hours before sleep do you all stop eating?
10/26 191
10/27 190.5 - not bad for the first trunk or treat night! Since I cut down on a lot of sugar recently, after eating a good amount of it last night I felt really anxious for some reason! All the more reason to quit sugar.. it really messes with me
10/28 191
10/29 192 at first I was wondering what the problem was here... why I’m gaining even though staying within calorie goal. Then I remembered... not all calories are created equal! This is the first weekend in months that we’ve eaten out most meals. I usually cook everything at home. Back to home cooked meals! No exceptions!!
10/30 191 I really don’t think I’m making it to my goal this time..
10/31 190.5 update: I still haven’t touched my child’s candy from the trunk or treat since that day! So turned off by the effects of it. Here’s to hoping this continues for tonight lol

Start of Round 57 Weight: 186.6
I have lost 106 pounds so far and my goal is to get down to between 10-12% body fat (Currently about 16.1%) and then slowly bulk to gain muscle. These last 10 lbs. or so have really been giving me fits, so I thought I would join this challenge to give me a little extra motivation.
Day/Weight/Comment
10/25 186.6 - Had a pretty good day. Got a late night lift in about midnight last night with 2 miles (1 before, 1
after) on the treadmill. Need to do better on sleep. Averaging about 4 hours per night this week.
10/26 186.6 - Yesterday had an active day. Did a triceps and abs session and then ran a treadmill 5k at an easy
pace (6.5) for just under 29 minutes. Had about 15,000 steps along with the workout, so got to eat
some extra calories yesterday (2239). Deadlifts await today.
10/27 187.4 - Normal fluctuation. Didn't get my workout in because I was gonna go after watching World Series Game 3. 18 innings and 7:20 later...it was 2:30 am here when game ended. So i will try to double up today on my workouts. Also ate calories that go on today's diary last night during game after midnight so that explains the gain.
10/28 189.4 - Played and walked 18 holes of golf for over 15,000 steps. Pigged out at family get together on high carb and high sodium foods. 300+ carbs when I'm usually around 180-200 and 6600+ sodium. So I figured I would be a up a few today. It's normal for me to fluctuate 3-5 lbs based on water weight. So, no worries, back at it today and it should shed over the next few days. After losing 107 lbs, it's good to know my body well enough that I don't freak out over water weight fluctuations like I would have at the beginning.
10/29 188.6 - Pretty good day. Slightly over calories (Mexican food is my weakness). Normally my rest day, but I made up my lifting workout from Friday (Deadlifts, Assisted Pull-Ups, Overhead Press, Bicep Curls and Chest Flys). Also bowled in my Sunday evening bowling league. Hopefully will continue to shed water weight today, and I will have another lifting session today and may try to go play some basketball for cardio tonight if I can get away for long enough.
10/30 187.4 - Played full court basketball for almost 2 hours. Over 14,000 steps total. Food intake was pretty good, had a nice deficit for the day and ended up with 181 grams of protein. Plan on lifting today (Squat Day). See if we can eliminate the remainder of the water weight from last weekend. Checked body fat % and am down to about 15.1%. About 3-5% from goal on BF. Can't wait to bulk so I can up the calories some and intake more food 😁
10/31 - 187.0 - Got a really good lift in (Squats, Bench, Incline Bench, Seated Rows, Triceps). Set a couple of lifting PR's, which was fun. Also shot some baskets in the basketball gym at the Y for about 30 minutes for some cardio. Stayed around 1900 calories for a nice deficit for the day. 144 ounces of water. Waist size was down today to 33.25 inches (started over 50). Cardio day today for me.

Also, a question for someone that has been on here for a while...after I transition to a bulk (probably in about 8-10 lbs.), can I still participate in the group to track my weight/muscle gain??

I'm in again too!
Last round was not a good one for me. I was not able to complete it. But this time I want to stay consistent! This will be my fourth round. I have ordered my Fitbit and waiting to get my hands on it! (I have a way too sedentary lifestyle)
Also planned to set mini goals from now on and try to acheive it in order to stay in track! My first mini goal for now is to reach 75kg before Nov 1st!
28yrs/F/5'1
HW : 80kg
SW : 78kg
CW : 76kg
GW for this round : 75kg (before Nov 1st)
Day/Weight/Comment
10/25 - 76kg Taking it slow and steady. If my scale was not moving down as I expect it to be, I am not gonna get discouraged this time! Because last round I gave up due to this reason!
10/26 - 76kg. No worries! At least the scale didn't move up!
10/27 - 75.7kg scale didn't move from 76kg for a while. So happy with today's reading! Made an initiative from yesterday to eat dinner at least 2 hours before going to bed. But still got hungry when I went to bed and so had to eat some biscuits!
10/28 - 75.5kg Followed the same like the previous day and I think it works!
10/29 - 75.8kg. Expected this! It was Sunday and I went a lil over my calories.
10/30 - 75.5kg back again! Weekdays normal routine so came back to where I was! We try so hard to get those scales to move down but a little treat or a holiday or a weekend or whatever occasion may be, we eat a few extra calories with our mind saying "just today! I have been working hard these many days so I deserve it" and then woof all those hard works goes away and we go a little behind! This is what I learned this time, that I have been doing this mistake over and over again so that's why I am lagging back with my progress! Just one day will cost you three to four days of hard work again!
10/31 - 75.4kg Just a 0.1kg down but it's still a Progress!

Sunrise this morning was spectacular! I'm looking forward to a nice walk on the river greenway. Then I'm off to the dr's office - I was pruning a rose yesterday and it fought back. I'm sure there's a thorn tip embedded in my leg (nice finish to a long scratch) and my hubby couldn't get it and I can't reach it very well. That'll be fun! Have a lovely day, all!

I've decided to change my look with a new haircut to go with my new body. Going short, and with my curly mop, it should be easy peasy maintenance. Let's hope weight maintenance follows suit! Have a lovely weekend, all!
10/27 - 134.4 - 1258 - 10-day ave 1279
I had a pretty good workout in the garden yesterday moving two big rose bushes, three daylilies, and three hostas, and planting some mini irises I got free a while back. It rained all night and is still raining, so everyone is nicely watered in. I'm hoping to put in some bulbs this afternoon or tomorrow. One of my favorite ways to spend a fall day - and a drop on the scale is a nice reward!
10/28- 134.6 - 1104 - 10-day ave 1278
Woohoo! Last day of my elimination diet! Tomorrow I start adding things back, one by one, starting with eggs. Based on lingering pain, I don't know that it's done much for my inflammation - blood work tomorrow will tell us more - but I have lost 6.5 pounds in the 6 weeks (not bad this close to my UGW) on a macro ratio of 55-60% carbs (mostly veggies & fruits with some rice, oatmeal, & legumes), 20% protein, & 20-25% fat. I haven't felt particularly deprived, but I am looking forward to adding eggs, peppers, tomatoes, peanutbutter, and muesli!
10/29 - 134.6 - 1221 - 10-day ave 1266
Busy day today, beginning with a blood draw for me to see if inflammation is down, and a leg x-ray for my doggy girl to see why she's limping intermittently (which we fear is linked to her liver nodules and enlarged lymph glands). She was most unhappy about going to THE BACK ROOM with the tech. :-( But I'm happily beginning the next phase of the food sensitivity testing, beginning with eggs! I added egg whites to my oatmeal this morning and look forward to an omelette for lunch. Sometimes it's the little things!
10/30 - 134.6 - 1216 - 10-day ave 1258
We're headed for 64 degrees F today so I'm planning to go for a nice walk this morning and plant a bunch of bulbs this afternoon, then painting class tonight. Life is good!

🎀10/25 - 178.4 - An early weigh in, but I'm certain this is true. An impromptu day out with a friend threw me off of my normal pattern. Did not drink enough water. Did not drink my electrolytes. Ate POPCORN. I bought some popcorn kernels to pop corn for my husband. WHY did I eat 2 cups of popcorn? I don't even eat corn or grains. So I deserve this temporary gain.
🎀 10/26 - 178.8 - Even though my weight dropped to 176.6 , don't forget who I am. Super Spongebarb. Lol. It will come back down. I looked back over the past 2 weeks of my diary and I've had more than a few days eating less protein than I should. Gotta correct that.
🎀 10/27 - 177 - better on carbs and water, protein in target?
🎀10/28 - 178.4 - All macros over settings yesterday. I do not fast Friday through Saturday.
🎀10/29 - 178.2 - Salt water flush today. Drank it an hour ago, nothing yet. 😦 Lol. My husband went to a friend's house yesterday to watch the football game and brought food home. He sits a plate covered in foil next to me and walks away. I thought it was for him to eat later. I look under the foil, 3 big cookies. I laughed, told him no thanks and put them in a sandwich bag. Smh
🎀10/30 - 176.6 😀
🎀 10/31 - 177.6 - You MUST have a sense of humor when it comes to daily weigh ins. Especially when you've been true to your plan. I'm pretty sure this is because, once again, I did not drink my electrolytes. 😳 I will this morning.

Day/Weight/Comment
10/25 - 192.6 No exercise yesterday. I drove for more than 5 hours, that was enough "exercise" for me. Good news I got a new asthma script. I didn't pick it up because I was too tired. Let's hope this new insurance means I can afford more than just the rescue inhaler. I'm crabby but still staying in calorie goal and plan on walking tonight.
10/26 - 190.9 No exercise again yesterday, but that stinky water weight is gone! I have been very tired the last two nights. MS can sometimes sneak up on me with a little exhaustion when I'm not looking. I hope to be back on track (trails really hahaha) this weekend. A short walk at lunch today (2 miles) and then a long walk either Saturday or Sunday and a 3 miler the other day. Fingers crossed the weather agrees Last round I over estimated my goal, this round I underestimated. My amended goal for Round 57 is 189. I have 8 days to do it.
10/27 - 191.0 Went to the Farmer's Market walked 1.25 miles! Up slightly, nothing to worry about. Stayed within calorie goals but it was an emotional day.
10/28 - 191.6 Stress and sodium are the culprits. I hope I should have walked but got caught up in other things. I did shop a lot so there was walking there but I didn't turn on the app to count distance. Staying within calorie goals but sodium is high again.
10/29 - 192.9 DANG IT. I'm certain it's the stupid sodium. I ate out a lot and while I can stay in calorie goals but restaurants LOVE salt. My walking goals didn't happen. I had originally wanted to walk 50 miles in October but being sick for a week killed that. That pace was 1.61 miles a day - adjusting for a week off I need to hit 38.6. I'm at 33.2. I have to walk 5.4 miles in the next 3 days to hit my goal. Even if I don't hit my weight goal, I feel like I will have accomplished something if I can hit my mileage goal.
10/30 - 191.4 That's more like it. I still need to lose another pound to make the Round goal. I was crazy on 10/26, full of confidence that I would keep that weight off and lose more. Walked 4.15 miles yesterday, that puts me at 37.3 for the month. It was the perfect fall day for walking. I do need to leave a little earlier, it was straight dark by the time I got back to the car. I will make the 38.6 miles. Tonight is weights at the gym night and tomorrow is Halloween.
10/31 - 191.4 At least it's not going up! I am ending October with slightly over 40 miles. I am proud of myself for making a goal, being thwarted by asthma for a week, adjusting my goal for something I couldn't control and instead of being discouraged kept with it. In addition to walking over 2.5 miles at lunch yesterday, I went to the gym to work out on weight machines for over an hour. I stayed under my calorie goal so I had hoped for a drop today but I have 3 days to drop a pound. I haven't bought any Halloween candy yet, so I didn't get into it. I'm going at lunch and hopefully I can just try one of each...

10/25 / 239.8 / I’ll take it! I am so happy to be in a new weight decade.
10/26 / 239.0 / I am enjoying this whoosh while it happens.
10/27 / 238.8 / We went wine tasting yesterday (well within calories, all logged).
10/28 / 239.2 / Busy all day, didn’t eat, then Triscuits and cheese at night. Salty but within calories.
10/29 / 239.4 / Followed my plan yesterday, I noticed that after a whoosh I do this bobbing around bit before logging a new low. I’m not worried.

Round 57
Oct 25 - 206.6 everything is going so well! I feel great. I hope I don’t mess it up today. I don’t have lunch or supper planned and have a Halloween dance at my daughters school.
Oct 26 - 206.2 I guess things worked out well yesterday. I found something for lunch and dinner that was within my range. At the Halloween dance there was no food which is a nice change - to go to an event that is really just about the fun of dressing up and the spirit of Halloween! Now the challenge of the weekend ahead! My goal is to try and get some time today to pre plan my meals.
Oct 27 - 207.4 I wasn’t going to post but I know by posting it will help me today. I guess I went a little overboard yesterday. It’s also the TOM so I’m hoping everything will be better tomorrow.
Oct 28 - 208.2
Oct 29 - 206.8 - I’m always amazed at how much salty foods affects my weight. One day of eating clean and drinking lots of water and it’s back down again. Feeling good and motivated to keep everything in check. Looking forward to getting a walk in at lunch. Lots of water and Sri into plan today.
Oct 30 -205.8. I don’t think this number is realistic. I had to make a rush trip to the mall last night to get my son a Halloween costume. I wasn’t expecting it and it took longer than I hoped. By the time I got home it was too late to eat dinner.
Oct 31 - 206.2. This is probably a more realistic number. My goal for today is to eat according to my plan. But the ultimate goal is to limit the Halloween goal - if I have some calories have one but that’s it.

I am a 50 year old 5'5" woman. I am trying to get healthier to avoid diabetes and all of the problems that come from being overweight.
I have found this challenge to be both rewarding and frustrating! Looking at my weight daily has been a real eye opener to see all of the fluctuations and how a high carb day will affect me and the loss for 2-3 days after. On the other hand when I look at the big picture and the averages it has been a consistent loss except for two rounds. Round 53 was my 50 birthday celebrations that upped my weight for a few days.
I need to step up my game if I want to meet any of my goals.

10/31 70.5kg, this is deserved. Went completely overboard with cookies last night watching the final of Great British Bake Off. The cookies werr meant for my husband's advent calendar - turns out he's not bothered about them... Off for a run now. I'm doing ok with exercise, but can't get in the zone for yoga. I'll start that next week again.
The next days/ will be challenging, many good bye drinks and meals. I will still check in, but may not log exactly.
That show. My daughters like to go to the bakery, bring it to our house, then watch while eating. I'm glad they decided to stop.2 -

10/31 - 215 - Hello, my friends! I've been stupidly busy but always intending to come back and see all the new faces and the progress or maintenance of the veterans. I'm pretty pleased with where I am. This is 37 pounds down from my start. My goal is 40 down by the end of the year (I'm taking the slow and unsteady approach). I'm going to try to catch up. Whew! If you fall behind on this challenge, you REALLY fall behind!

I don't see why not. There are people here who are in maintenance and still post for the accountability and good vibes from other motivated people. The end goal is to be the healthiest you that is possible! I have a cousin who competes with body building and the only way he is a competitor is to stay mindful every single day.6
