I would like to be at the bottom of the 150’s by the end of this round. Starting weight is 155. Would like to be 153.
Day/Weight/Comment
11/04 - 157.5 went up 2 pounds. Uuugghh! I knew it was going to be up. Yesterday I stepped on the scale and saw 155 for the first time. Officially down 20 pounds, so I overindulged and treated myself with a lot of food and a couple of beers. My biggest problem is I love to celebrate anything and everything with food and beer. Lol, had an amazing dinner with my hubby and probably had 1 to many drinks. Well worth it, no regrets, but trying to learn how to balance my celebrating. Drinking lots of water and back on track today. I’m sure it will be back down by tomorrow or the next day.
11/05 - 157.0 still up 2 pounds from Saturday, but the weekends are the hardest for me. Had a couple beers last night watching the game with my husband and pretty much just lounged all day. It was actually a very nice day. For some reason the older kids were home and decided to hang out and watch tv with us for most of it. Very unusual that they are home on the weekends. They wanted to order pizza, so we agreed. I had one piece and ate a salad. Drinking lots of water today and will stay in calories. Being at work really helps me stay on routine. Hopefully tomorrow I will see 155 again!
11/06 - 156.3 So back to Fridays weight, almost Saturdays weight. Did well last night, made teriyaki chicken and rice for the family. Put the chicken on a salad for myself and only had a couple of bites of rice while making the kids plates. Lots of water and no alcohol. Hopefully tomorrow I see that 155 again.

Round 58: My 2nd Round
F/23/5’3’’/OSW 59kg/RSW 58.2kg
Round 57 : -0.5kg
11/4 – 58.2kg Worked out for an hour in the gym yesterday morning and even today morning.
11/5 - 58.5kg (+0.3kg) Was very much expecting this to happen…ate a lot of junk food yesterday way lot more than my calorie limit…this is what happens to me every Sunday! I hate it but can’t help it…went to gym in the morning today and will be very particular about what I eat today.
11/6 - 57.8kg (-0.7kg) Wow!!! I was expecting it to go down but not to this extent!!! I am so excited about this…I was really very careful about what I ate and stayed within calorie limit and spent some extra time in the gym…should not let go of all this hard work by just binging on junk…

11/04 162.8 That’s more like it. Happy to be back for another round with all you (weight) losers! I ate about 2 cups of popcorn at the theater yesterday morning, and expected it to punish me, but I ate well the rest of the day. I was privileged to attend worship at my home church this morning! That meant missing a morning concert with my group, but I’ll be with them for two more concerts before this day ends. I’ll be on the road in a couple of hours. Thor, my GSD, and I are looking forward to a walk tomorrow morning.
11/05 162.8 I slept later than usual this morning. I stuck to low carbs yesterday, but, last night at IHOP, my sirloin steak tips (with mushrooms & onions) and spinach and broccoli sides was a larger meal than I’m used to eating. I guess it didn’t hurt me, unless it shows up tomorrow. At the moment, rain chances are low, so Thor and I are heading out for our walk.
11/06 162.8 Stuck in a rut here—mini plauteau? Thor and I walked a little past our 4 mile point yesterday. My foot was hurting bad by the time we reached our water/prop my foot up spot, about ¾ mile from home. I have a podiatrist appointment after Thanksgiving. I won’t try to start running again until I have relief from the Morton’s Neuroma between my toes.
I just noticed, and corrected, my age! The years are passing so quickly, I can't keep up!

11/04 - 177.2 My body seems to like this number, even if I don’t. Yesterday I felt so strong and capable and that made sticking to plan and getting in my steps very easy. I am starting today also feeling strong and confident so I’m hoping I can get through all those inevitable temptations. Tomorrow is a different story. I will be traveling out of town to celebrate my daughter’s 24th birthday with a movie, a restaurant and some shopping. I will stick to plan before and after the excursion but I will ultimately enjoy the middle as we celebrate. I will try not to go overboard, but carbs add up quickly. I will be bringing home fresh parsley, cucumber and lemons for the “triple threat” concoction to offset any water bloat from the birthday lunch.
11/05 - 177.2 Great day again yesterday. Stayed with plan yet no budge on the scales. Ugg. Travel today a couple of hours away to a real Mall (that is a luxury for me!) Lots of things to experience today. I will be off plan but I will try to be reasonable. Have a great week everyone!
11/06 -179.0 Enjoyed the trip but stayed way longer than expected due to shopping. Multiple restaurant meals. The only NSV was that I managed to skip some pretty tempting desserts and just stick to meals. The movie “A Star is Born” was very good. I saw the remake in the 1970’s and it is a bit different. Lady Gaga is a phenomenal actress! And who thought she could only sing and play the piano? Bradley Cooper was excellent, as usual. I loved my time with my daughter. Since she had the baby last fall, we have not got to get away very often for fun out-of-town things. It was very nice. Tomorrow and Thursday is more travel. This is going to be a very bad round for me. I’m going to have to try to do my best but it won’t be good.

I derailed myself last year undoing a lot of good work. After a long absence from myfitnesspal I am back on track. This 10 day challenge seems like something I can do. I joined with Round 57. This is my 2nd consecutive round.
Age: 59
Sex: M
Height: 5ft 10 1/2"
HW: 313 lbs (reached twice, sad to say)
Pre-challenge SW: 313 lbs (started back at myfitnesspal Oct 1st. Down 15 lbs in the 3 weeks prior to round 57)
SW for the round 57 challenge: 298 lbs (I have a photo to prove it, I'll take a new one at the start of every week)
GW sometime in 2020: 195 lbs (several beautiful Italian double-breasted suits await me)
Round 58
SW for this round: 295 lbs
GW for this round: 291 lbs (drop 4 lbs)
Day 01. 11/04 295 lbs
Day 02. 11/05 297 lbs (up 2 lbs). I had a customer computer emergency day. An electrician was out at a store and managed to short the power to the local Linux server. Which would then not reboot. I would up pulling an all-nighter to recover the server and replace it with an old machine while a new unit is configured, licensed and installed later this week. No sleep 'til Hammersmith (4 hours after I got home at 8:45am but I feel like I had none). Way too much caffeine. Some less than stellar eating options. Draw a line and start again, recognizing that my goal of down 4 lbs this challenge might now be our of reach.
Day 03. 11/06 296 lbs. Back on track today.
Up 1 lb so far this 10 day challenge. Meh...
Down 2 lbs so far on challenges (I plan on doing more of them).
Down 17 lbs total since I came back to myfitnesspal.
101 lbs to go to where I want to be: 195 lbs, the weight at which I got married.9 -

@FarmerCarla I'm a runner and have had Morton's Neuroma in both feet for several years. I have no interest in surgery nor am I willing to give up running. What I have found that works is running shoes with an extra wide toe box. I run in Altras and also Topo Athlectics both of which are also zero drop shoes. My husband has been bothered recently by a neuroma and also switched to Altras with immediate relief.3 -

Thanks, @mthomas0228 , I'll definitely check them out. Zero drop is a little concerning--I hope they still have good arch support for my high arches. All my shoes are wide width, but not wide enough--even the 2EE Nike. I had surgery 20 years ago to have the Morton's Neuroma removed from my left foot and haven't had problems in that foot since. Not just for running, but for everyday life, I want to be able to wear regular shoes. Before the surgery, I spent a lot of time walking around in a sock and carrying my shoe while I shopped. I have big feet anyway, and wearing extra wide shoes was a little embarrassing--felt like clown shoes.1 -
