Haven't done any late night snacking this month. I have one snack at 8 PM and that is that.

Note to self - never skip lunch as leads to extreme late night snacking!

I've been struggling these past few days and even when I don't give in to cravings I habitually eat way passed the point of fullness. Not sure why I have this need to feel superfull in the evening after dinner when it's never an issue with breakfast or lunch.

YogiCece. I know when I overeat it can be due to stress or boredom. I’ve started doing more in the evenings to distract myself from eating when I’m really not hungry.

Yes, out sounds frustrating when it's out of habit. I have the exact same issue.

You would think so but feel off the wagon again. Only managed two days! Just had my tea and carried on... No excuse this time 😬

@ndax887 nevermind, just keep the commitment to this thread instead. If it only prevents you from binging at night, then it's already a success. A bite of something healthy is less harmful then 2 cups of icecream!

Tried a new thing last night: doubled my protein for dinner (2 salmon files instead of one) and added another 100g of sweet potatoes. Super yummy and totally filled me up BUT I still had this niggling need for something more. Thankfully I'd saved half of my morning smoothie and after I finished it I had no cravings and felt happily satisfied. Can't remember the last time I finished dinner and felt satisfied without stuffing myself, so it felt like a bit of a miracle. Will do the same this evening to see if it was just a one off or if it's a good approach for dealing with my late evening cravings.

Also, I've stopped buying beans in bulk so there's none in the flat to tempt me. I'll just buy a can every ones in a while as a treat. So funny how they've become such a trigger food for me. :)
