Hi am 23 year female and my hight is 5'8, i currently weight 138lbs from 119 and my current goal is 145, i will set another goal if i reach there.
Will it not be good to support each other?
Gaining weight is hard. So i created this group so that we can make things easier for ourselves by benefiting from others opinions, and what is helping them gain weight. You can even share pictures.
Let us do it together.
Sharing is caring.
Welcome to the group

Some people like their privacy. So I think here will be good
This is such a great idea, my god I need advice in this!
Can I jump in with a question?
I’m 21, 5”7 and I’ve just shed all the fat I wanted to lose, but now I’m focusing on building up muscle. What I’m struggling with is I’m susceptible to put fat on 🙄 so I have upped my calories and my protein massively and am watching my meals to make sure they aren’t over my macros, and I’ve been lifting 5-6 time’s a week. I have noticed muscle gain but also fat gain as well....do you ladies fit cardio into your weekly workouts as well?
I’ve been told to hold off the cardio for the bulking period but I don’t like the fat I’m seeing!
Any advice would be greatly appreciated ☺️
It's against the privacy rules to give out phone numbers or other private information. That.
You won't gain muscle without a bit of fat if you're in a calorie surplus.
Unfortunately some fat gain will come along with it. You can reduce your surplus a bit to keep fat gain at bay, adding some cardio is one way or you can just eat a bit less. Make sure you are following adequate
progressive programming too as lack of proper stimulus can cause more fat vs muscle gain.
You are definitely going to gain some fat, but you can minimize fat gain by reducing some fat in your diet and exercises. Am gaining some fat in my waist line too but it is not much because I do exercise.
Most of us want to lose dear.
I think most people are looking to lose weight. And after losing weight it can be intimidating to make the choice to gain for muscle. It took me over a year to finally be ready to intentionally gain weight. And that was only after a break from logging and a slow unintentional weight gain.
How tall are you?
5'3.5"
I struggle with this as I want to gain weight/muscle but I have a hard time increasing my calorie allowance. I eek it up little by little. Even though I know how to lose and have successfully kept my weight under control for over 7 years, I still have anxiety over regaining it
I know for me, I want more muscle mass and that is why I'm finally running the bulk. I know I'll never have the body I really want without the gain.
It's not as common for women to gain, but there are some times where I do notice an increase. I would love to join you all but I'm taking a break from bulking right now. I will be cheering you on from the sidelines
You can try adding in calorie dense foods that are generally small in volume but big in calories. Peanut butter, nuts, seeds, avocados, and cooking with oil are some examples.
