December 3 -194 - kind of discouraged with the fluctuation. I had a good day, expected a loss.

December 6 -191 - Wow! Lots of days left to get down to that next decade. Seeing the scale move is motivating!

I’m actually pleasantly surprised this morning. I was beginning to feel like I’d never get past 214 and this week I ate out twice which just proved that I can make healthier choices while “splurging” out with friends and family and still feel satisfied. I’m proud of myself this week.

Dec 01- 178.0 December will probably be a wild ride, just like November. I will do my best and hope that a challenge will help to keep me a bit more accountable.
Dec 08- 178.0 Maintained, which I am grateful for. However, I really need a loss before Christmas, and before I have to see my family doctor. Lots of travel this upcoming week. That never turns out good.

Starting to pay more attention to nutrition now. I'm looking for the skin benefits of taking good care of myself. Changing unhelpful habits and thoughts has taking a great deal of time for me, but it's finally starting to feel more natural. I'm so relieved, because one of my "reasons" for not losing weight has always been the fear that the process would feel so unbearably hard FOREVER. I cannot diet for one day, so forever is definitely out of my reach! I absolutely love the food I eat now!6 -

Hi : - ) Yes, I started doing it daily too when I saw someone do it last month that had good results. It really keeps me accountable, especially at night when I can tend to get carried away. I know that I need to weigh first thing in the morning, so hopefully that motivates me to not have an extra snack : - )6 -

Dec 9 - 145 - I was out of town celebrating an early Xmas/late thanksgiving with my family...had tons of food and sodium. I’m super pleased with this number, thought it would be much higher!

Down just a half pound, this week I am really going after sodium as increasing it. Reason is 6 days last week, I woke up at some point in night with terrible foot and leg cramps. Also bought some zero powerade, and been drinking one 32 oz bottle on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. May get more as something is off kilter and I need to get that back on track. My potassium level taken less than 3 weeks ago was high normal so not that. If it keeps up I will ask for a check on the electrolytes over all.

Despite having a massive head cold, sore throat and unable to not eat solids--only very salty soups for a few days--I managed to lose just over a pound. Still (stuck) in the mid-190s. It's hard to weight yourself when you've drank a ton of water and consumed plenty of salt, and then your lymphedema flares up! The number on the scale can be tricky! The sliver-lining is that I do feel "lighter" and I can fit into my size 12 jeans easier than I did a couple of weeks ago. I maybe losing inches too! Plus, as of today, I kicked my head cold to the curb. Adios! High hopes, eh?
