[12/14: Did not Weigh.] Going on a weekend trip with friends. Lots of food and relax time. Hot pot dinners!
[12/15: Did not weigh.] Didn’t have a weigh machine handy. Fun weekend with friends.
[12/16: Did not weigh.] Weekend away from home. Great time spent with friends and homey seafood meals.
[12/17: Did not weigh.] Forgot to weigh in this morning and check where I’m at after the feasting weekend. Trying to have a good diet day. Got Physical therapy in the evening. So I will weigh in tomorrow! Need to get the hang of this weighing thing.
Goal: Get BF% to 10-12%, then bulk.

Round 62 Starting Weight: 187.0 (Huge gain last day of Rd. 61 due to sodium, so it will probably skew the results)
12/14 - 182.4- As expected, dropped a bunch of the water weight from the high sodium day at the end of Round 61. Had a really good day. Got 2 workouts in yesterday (lifting workout with deadlifts, lat pull downs, overhead press, bicep curls and pec flys, then backed that up with 3 miles on the treadmill), as well as hitting my macros and calories. Drank about 140 oz. of water. Squat day today.
12/15 - 181.2 - Solid deficit with a lift and a good run in for workout.
12/16 - 181.8 - Got a good HIIT workout and abs in yesterday. Ate at a solid deficit and felt good throughout the day.
12/17 - 182.2 - Ate out all day and had a Italian family dinner that could have derailed me, but had a solid day food wise still. Rest day as far as workouts. Weight is starting to settle in and now will work from here to continue to cut body fat.
Lost 4.4lbs last round Would love another 2.5 or so this time.

12/14: 171 I want to go to the gym pretty bad, but I'm a sicky.
12/15: 171.2 I let myself eat too many chips yesterday Best believe I ran my butt off today though.
12/16: 170.2 SO CLOSE TO THE 160s! Normal weight for my height starts at 168, so I'm pumped. Hopefully this means I'll hit that NY goal Can't lie, considered going to the gym BEFORE the weigh in, but I never do that so it feels like cheating.
12/17: 170.2 I've got some sorta bug that just won't go away. Happy no-gym Monday

12/15 146 Seen this coming, not nearly enough water lately and too much junk food, and fast food last night. Reminds me of why I can't eat like that all the time.
12/16 146 Feeling very thirsty and hungry. I increased my calories from 1200 to 1380 because it seemed I was always eating back my exercise calories and sometimes more. I'll probably change it back after the first of the year.
12/17 147 Honestly I wasn't going to weigh myself this morning. Then I thought, no I will weigh but keep it to myself. I need to hold myself accountable. We are all here to support and share our journey, and show one another that we all struggle from time to time and have off days. Yesterday I ate so bad. Had a big lunch because we went out to eat and I ate so many carbs- comfort food. Was going to let that be the only thing I ate and then I had cereal late last night- not just 1 bowl. "Trying" to make today a light day and going to try to stay out of the cereal tonight.

12/14 -216.4 I think some of the water retention from working out this week is now gone.
12/15 -215.8 Weird night last night. Wind storm in the area and power went out at about 6:30pm and didn't get back on until 12:30am. Ended up going to bed early and in turn woke up extra early. Plan is to take dog out for 3 mile walk today during a break in the storm. Going out for lunch and going to the symphony later today. Goal is to get water in today.
12/16 -216.4 Water weight from lunch yesterday. I tried to make sure that I didn't eat anything that I shouldn't, but I wasn't going to worry too much if there was some ingredient in my meal that is on my do not eat list. Went to the gym today and did some weightlifting. Today I am relaxing, watching football, and making sure I work on getting my water in.
12/17 -216.9 Feeling heavy today. I ate a lot more calories than usual yesterday. I ate a whole avocado yesterday, something I never do, and even though I know avocados have a lot of calories, it wasn't until I was reviewing my diary yesterday evening did I realize the % of my daily calories that went to that avocado. It was a lot, but it tasted so good. Lesson learned, everything in moderation. This morning I was looking at my comments and noticed that over the weekend I was working on getting my water in, something that I attempt to work on every weekend and something that doesn't happen. This morning I realized that who cares if I don't get my water in over the weekend. I want to live an 80/20 life and not worry about things that for me right now aren't that important. So, while I don't get all the water I should be getting in during the weekend, I still get more than enough water during the week. Right now I'm focusing on exercising, consistent logging, eating at a slight deficit, and following my elimination diet. Whether I get enough water in on the weekends or not who cares!

Round 62 1st round for me
New to the forum. I have been on and off MFP
for years. I am getting older and losing weight seems to be more difficult. Getting motivated to eat sensible and exercise routinely has been difficult. I have had 2 big moves away from my family (my support system) due to job relocations in the last 18 months, hoping this is it for the next 10 years. Needing some support to get motivated hoping this group will help.

12/14 - 174 - food has not been the best today due to having a broken oven, but I have tried to be mindful of portion sizes. No exercise today but will try and make up for it in the morning.
12/15 - 174.4 - food has been pretty good and went for a swim this morning, so hopefully that will counter the. 4 increase
12/16 - 173.7 - not much movement today but happy with food
12/17 - 172.5 - good food day today and moved by chasing my baby round the house. Water was by good today and that's always my downfall so happy with today!

@cdavisdeva I am with you girl!! Last week my mind was totally made up about working out hard, eating right and for the majority of the time I did that.. but the last couple of days, today included, has not been the best. I am still working out every day but my food needs to be remanaged....again!! I don't know if it's the weather or the holiday but I can't get enough to eat. I mentally want this 2 pound loss by the end of the week so bad but then my will power drops, my tastebuds take over and the next thing I know I am over stuffing myself with junk.. it's a tough time of the year..for sure!!! But all we can ask ourselves for is to try and maintain our weight and be thankful we aren't overkilling it too bad. I know personally, this time last year, i was out of control with my eating and my extreme weight gain proved that (went from 145 last Nov to 160 by january)
Take it one day at a time and don't stress out too much!!! You still got this, you are still holding yourself accountable and you are still sticking to it...,that's a NSV for sure!!6

-Maintain weight (my mom is in the hospital following surgery for a brain bleed so I foresee a bit of a relaxed focus on tracking calories on my part. She did well during the procedure, but will be in the hospital for 2-3 weeks.)
-Squeeze in 20 minutes of exercise at least 4 times (I've been very lax about this, so I need to ease back in)
-Take time to enjoy the holiday season...bonus points for non-food ways.

12/15 - 150.0 (0.0 from yesterday, -.6 from round start. I'm bracing myself for the number likely on the scale tomorrow, after eating both lunch and supper out. Though I did get a 40 minute walk in, and am getting better about not making myself eat all that's served in a restaurant meal. )
12/16 - 151.0 (+1.0 from yesterday, +.4 from round start. Rather figured that was coming, likely from sodium from yesterday's food. I did get to visit my mom yesterday too. She's doing as well as could be expected, though she's a bit bummed that she'll likely be in hospital for the holidays. I reminded her that we could either bring it to her, or we can just do holidays with her when she's out. Planning on knocking out some more light exercise today, and getting serious about that whole "drink more water" thing.)

Back again! I am honestly just going to try and maintain this round. If I lose an ounce I will be thrilled! We have my DH work Christmas party, my work party, a cookie and candy making family party, and this one ends on a Sunday. Plus we have family coming in Christmas weekend and they are staying with us. The next couple of weeks are going to be rough! I was really hoping to hit the 30 pound mark by the end of the year. I'm close, but don't think it is realistic that I will lose another 2 or 3 pounds by then. I'm happy with what I have done though this year, so I will take it! Good luck everyone!
12/14 - 151.1 back up a little from yesterday. I was under calories, but I did have a peach turnover at 9:00 and dinner at 8:30. Both my daughters 10 and 16 had choir performances at 2 different schools last night. So my husband and I had to juggle seeing both of them and getting dinner done for the other kids. I didn't want to eat out, but I ended up eating really late when we got home. Hopefully I can bring it back down, but I have my DH work Christmas party tonight and then candy and cookie baking with the fam tomorrow. So we will see what happens. All I know is this is a once a year thing, so I will try and make smart decisions, but I am going to enjoy it and have fun! Seeing that 149.xxx would be really nice this round though!
12/15 - 150.4 DH Christmas party was a success. We walked away with $150 playing bingo and I ate well. Saved most of my calories for dinner and ate what I wanted without worry. Stayed away from the desserts and even had a beer. Had a great time and stayed on my path. I also got back into a pair of black really tight pants size 6 that I had not worn in many years. So another win. Family cookie and candy baking today. Oldest son is home from school and is helping out. So always good to have him home. 1 event down, 4 to go!
12/16 - 153.0 uuughhh. Totally deserved! Stayed away from the cookies and candy but the chips and dip got me. Who gains 3 pounds over night like that. Oh well it will be off in a couple of days. My family was driving me crazy and all bickering, so it was kind of stressful instead of fun. You know when you get to many women together with all their kids it gets crazy. My sister in law and I aren’t on great terms anyways, so I ate salt and lots of it. Lol, water and relaxing today. We will see what today brings.
12/17 - 154.1 Lots of water to flush all the sodium out and get back on track today. My husband and I are playing hookie today and going to a movie since the kids are all in school. Back to work tomorrow and hopefully by Friday I’ll be back down.
