Hello my name is Linda. I have pretty much the same story like most. One day you realized you gained 40-50lbs. Carbs were my support system even thou I knew better. Not doing this as a New Years resolution rather than something I have been wanting to do as a way for support for myself and others who want to join in on this quest.
A little about my personal life. Married with 3 boys from 15 to 27yrs. My fur kids are 1 cat, 3 Newfoundland dogs and 2 horses. My family and animals are my world.
I work fulltime in the medical field, enjoy doing outdoorsy things such as hiking, stand up paddleboarding, kayaking, riding my horses. Occasionally get a little creative.

My name is Riley, i'm 28 years old and I have two children 6 and 9. After having children I guess I just slowly started caring about myself less and less and eventually I got so disgusted with myself that I just started living by going through the day noticing my own appearance and physical form as little as possible... it really hit me recently when I thought of a gift certificate i'd given nearly two years ago for my favorite salon, I never ended up using it because I couldn't see the point in getting a nice hair cut and still feeling hideous, it felt like a waste. But im not a waste, i'm worth caring about, i'm worth putting effort into. I guess that's my major tipping point. I should love my human form and honor my body and stop trying to just disappear.

Hi Riley, I have been there too. I have done it with hair too but mostly with clothes. My brain is I am thinner but my body says otherwise. Can truly relate.
If you can still use the gift card I suggest do it. A jump start to feeling better. Let work on losing a pound at a time.
Do have a certain plan you are on or are you not sure yet?
Think starting monday I am going to start a water challenge

I am slowly getting into working out and moving a little more. Had an injury with my horse. So far I have been doing a few minutes on the elliptical and stretching. Today was going to the barn grooming my horses and walking around with them. Working it slowly at a time.

Hi I'm Amy, 103kg wanting to lose 29kg in 29 weeks in time for my 29th birthday.
I am a mum of nearly 3 year old twins. And wanting to try for a 3rd after my birthday.
My goals are:
To be more active
To drink more water
To watch my portions
Lose the excuses
Stop the sugar
29kg by 294 -
I went to the gym for an hour yesterday after work, and I took the kids to the pool today for a few hours and got some swimming in. Im hoping to go to the gym at least three times a week but my schedule is pretty tight so i'm a bit nervous. Im trying really hard to eat clean! I woke up in the middle of the night last night and didn't eat the chocolate I was desperately craving so im proud of that at least. Im sorry to hear about your injury I hope that it's feeling better. You're pretty awesome for trying to work to get exercise while working full time, it's easy to give up when you're in pain.5

I’d love to join. I need the motivation and accountability3

Hello! My name is Juli, I have a 2.5 year old daughter. I struggle with a constant cycle of: eat good for a minute, eat bad for longer, feel guilty, self-sabotage, repeat. I've managed to give up alcohol, cigarettes, and other dry goods for almost 7 YEARS! So why do I continue to EAT alcoholically? Why do I think it is impossible to be a healthy weight again? I've accomplished a hell of a lot more in other areas of my life. Time to not let glutton and sloth rule my life, one day at a time. Feel free to friend me.

Amy, welcome. That is exciting having another. You have your hands full, mommy. Remember those days. Love to see your progress
Riley, that is a good workout. Eating clean is good . Chocolate is an obsession. Can't stop at one. I ate good all day except this evening had wings with hubby. Tomorrow I want to push myself a little more. Wish me luck
Sam, welcome. Introduce yourself and let's encourage each other.
Hi Juli, understand way to much. You are stronger than you think. You managed to succeed your other goals. Girl you got this.. you have already started losing towards your goal. One pound at a time . Let's do it

I’m Amanda. I’m ready to be happy with what I see in the mirror. I definitely need the accountability, I know I can’t do it on my own. I’ve always been overweight, and just never thought anything of it. I work full time in a sedentary job, and am not financially able to join a gym. So those have been my excuses for not exercising, but that’s gonna change now.4

You got this! I try to fight that excuse too and it's definitely harder to get creative and force yourself but youtube is a great wealth of at home ideas!0 -

I’ve been hanging out at my current weight for many a year. I’ll be 60 in 2019 and would love to celebrate my birthday at goal weight. I need accountability and motivation and hope to find a no nonsense group that helps keep me on point. I know you can’t do it for me so it helps to have someone's to report to.
Thanks for the group!6 -
Welcome @krisclark220 you can do this at any age. Thanks for sharing. When is your birthday? I have about the same amount the loss. We can do it together
@samsherwin91 you are definitely into the H20 this morning. Great job!!! Since I actually had a day off from work today I took advantage of sleeping in. Coffee first. Then to the h20

Hi! I’d like to join!
I’m 28. I’ve lost 42 lbs since my highest weight and have another 28 to go! I know 2019 is the year I’m finally going to hit my goal weight. Ideally, I’d like to hit my goal before my sister-in-law’s wedding in May. I started running a bit in September when I re-started focusing on losing weight. I’ve decided to get more serious about it this year and registered to do a half marathon in September.
