In that case, the question becomes "What have you changed / slipped back into doing? What can / will you change going forward to restart progress?"
You can always ask the group for suggested strategies.3 -
I would like to join! I am a little late.... but I am a 5 foot tall female and I weigh ~149. I would like to get under 145 and as close to 140 as possible by valentines day! Any tips or help appreciated.0

I forgot to post yesterday, oops! Lost another lb. Pretty happy with my progress so far. Was originally aiming for 1.5 lbs a week but I think I’m going to need to hope for closer to 1 lb a week now that I’m closer to my goal. Kind of a bummer because I wanted to be at my goal weight for my sister-in-law’s wedding in May but I’ll still be pretty dang close. Not quite sure I will hit a 10 lb loss by Valentine’s day either but I’ll keep working and see how close I can get
Otoh the lower your weight the less you have to lose for it to be noticeable.
I like that you put your health (slower pace of loss) before vanity (a certain weight at SIL wedding)1 -

Completed a second week of my hulk routine...though I did skip the second round of chest/back because my back was unhappy, and I skipped the second round of shoulders/legs because I was late getting home and ran out of time....but 4 of 6 days were done and that's way better than none!2

That's a good challenge! I have been on myfitnesspal for several years to help me maintain my eating habits and weight. I have been looking through some different products to help kick start my weight loss after this crazy holiday season! I am an athlete and this past holiday I let myself gain almost 10 pounds and it most certainly wasn't muscle!
I just found this tea and have written about it in my blog, check it out!

My weight is still jumping everywhere and so help me if the incessant weepies and sore boobs from this like 3rd week of constant PMS don't stop, then I just may go entirely insane. On the plus side, my skirt feels loose around the waist today, and I'm not going to fret the stupid scale.4 -

So far so good. Headed to Cancun as I type this, so we’ll see how the next 5 days go. Hoping beach walking and yoga every morning will balance out a margarita or two...3 -

Huge whoosh this week which is a good thing because I'm post ovulation so the next couple of weeks will be crankiness and bloating and tears.4 -
I would love to do this! I weighed in on Friday at 208.4. I ultimately want to get down to 140 but for this challenge I would like to get to 199 by Valentine’s Day to be in the 100 club! 😊
I had my weekly weigh in today and I’m down to 207.2!! Keep pushing everyone! The real test is this upcoming week!
So I did pretty bad 😂
I went on vacation for a week with family and unfortunately I had such a hard time staying on goal with trying to accurately calculate calories (we went out to eat a lot) and I had no scale so I didn’t weigh myself until I got back.
December 31st I weighed in at 213!! 🙁
However, this Friday (my usual weigh in day) I weighed in at 207.8 so I feel like I’m back on track! Drinking lots of fluids and going back to my workout regiment definitely helped this week. 8.8 pounds to go!
Another week down and I did so good! Kept my weekly calories in check and did all my workouts for the week. I’ve had tons of energy...which is a shock since I wake up at 4am for work everyday and I do my workouts after work.
SW for this challenge: 208.4
CW: 205.8
GW for this challenge: 199
6.8 pounds to go! We can do this! 🙂
Alright, my weekly weight in was very successful this week!
SW for this challenge: 208.4
CW: 204.0
GW for this challenge: 199
I lost 1.8 pounds this week again doing weekly calories and moving 6 days a week! Only 5 pounds to go in almost 4 weeks. This is totally doable!

Sounds like a lot of positive outcomes this week! Hard work’s paying off!
I have a party to go to on Sunday and I’ve been “banking” calories for it the past few days - just eating my normal calorie goal (or slightly over), but not eating back any of my exercise calories and saving them up for the party. I have an extra thousand calories reserved right now, which I rather think would be plenty enough on a normal party day - except I also know I’ll be PMSing really hard that day and will want to eat everything I see. I can already forsee the awful timing of the two events colliding. 😱2 -

Jan 04: 143.7 (- 0.9 from SW .... weighed in ~ 4 hours earlier than last week so even better than number indicated
Jan 11: 144.2 (-0.4 from SW .... weighed in an hour earlier than last week, for the whole past week ...)

I upped my calories and lowered the amount of cardio I’m doing and I’m down 4 pounds of the 10 already! So excited to finally be past this plateau3

Great that you have found the balance point! Sounds like you might have been under-estimating your "daily life setting / over-exercising, which caused too big a deficit. That kind of thing can be confusing ....
Something similar broke my plateau this month too (but not as much as yours!)2 -

I did really well this week! I hurt my back and have been unable to exercise, my mum broke her ankle and it's been extremely stressful. I fought a lot of old indulging habits I normally run too when stressed and stuck to my caloric goals...and lost weight!
Current Weight: 176.8
Challenge Goal: 171
I'm on track! I can resume light exercise now and I've missed it (thats new)! Great work everyone!1 -
What a trip down "memory lane"! I tuned into a virtual run along the Thames Embankment in London, England (from Tower Bridge along the North Side, past the memorial to the Battle of Britain and across the river at Westminster / Big Ben. Then down the South Side, past the Globe Theatre, and crossed over again at Tower Bridge.
The real kicker was ... the starting spot was where I had actually been standing in June 2018, waiting on our Hop On Hop Off River cruise boat transfer (going the other way towards Greenwich), and today's run headed off right beside a statute we have a photo of .... we never crossed to the south side on our visit, but we sailed past it all! We eventually left the boat at Westminster / Big Ben, and also have a photo of the memorial to the Battle of Britain we took on the way back to Somerset House.
Tomorrow, Paris!1 -
