Lana - good vibes headed your way as well. You must get lots of frequent flyer miles. But it is germ season. DON'T TOUCH ANYTHING
Kathryn - wow - lots of snow! I too would take snow anyday over ice. And you are so awesome giving away that birdfeeder!
Tracy - wedding invites! When is your daughter's wedding again - I know close to mine. I am not sure she has done invites yet (:
Sara - LOL I did sleep like a log. Although aches and pains made it not so sound.
    Welcome jlbtnc
Megan - good luck with the heartburn....sending bland thought your way

Lana- good thoughts and hugs to you. Vegas is fun, but only for a short visit. I can imagine it's not cheap, either. Be safe traveling.

Sara- we would love some of yer sun. Not sure we'll be getting any, any time soon. Glad Miss T feels better. Those darn glands really can cause trouble.

Kathryn- I think you are right. They are calling for more snow here as well. We did very lucky and didn't get near as much as others (one city got 20"! Only 3 hrs away) hoping we don't get that much!

Had to dig car out of driveway, yesterday. By myself. Wasn't bad. I had just slid off tracks hubby had made and went into a deep pile of snow. I am feeling it, today! Ugh Today was much easier to get out of drive. Fingers crossed it stays that way, all week at least.

marsel - you list of dont eats sounds prohibitive - study the list - what can you absolutely not do without? I know you will be eating what feels like baby food for awhile to heal your heartburn so while you are eating baby food ask yourself which of these foods can you wean out of your diet?

    earworm for Lana -
    "All my bags are packed
    I'm ready to go
I'm standin' here outside your door
I hate to wake you up to say goodbye
    But the dawn is breakin'
    It's early morn
    The taxi's waitin'
    He's blowin' his horn
    Already I'm so lonesome
    I could cry"

sing it on the plane if it helps. I am so rotten sometimes. >:)

It really does seem to be all acids and all spices at this point, so I'm in near full avoidance while doing the work day shuffle. I'm seeing my doctor next week so hopefully that'll help my sad food situation.

But it's not so bad... I'm just being a child about the whole thing.
Breakfast was egg and very (VERY) mild avocado salsa on a whole wheat sandwich thin,
lunch was baked chicken breast and broccoli with a cup of mushroom puree soup,
and my snack was low fat cottage cheese and fruit with a tad of pineapple marmalade.
Dinner is up in the air, possibly more soup!

This is literally why I had to have a shovel in my trunk. Came out to this a couple times a year back home.

Here is a photo that was taken in a Minnesota suburb last winter.

People think I am crazy here in Oklahoma because I wear flip flops, t-shirts, and shorts all year long. I just throw on a light sweater in the winter.

Got lots of appointments coming up so hopefully someone can figure out what is wrong with me. 😥 Just drained and tired all the time lately.

I don't like those games, either. I usually walk away with nothing, or something I absolutely won't use. It never ends up fun for me.

    TUESDAY

    Good morning.

Threat of rain is more like "keep umbrella handy" - so we shall see.

Got a weeks worth of claims drop in one day - so I cranked out day and a half of claims - easy when there are 10 of each patients to do at once. Today we shall see. Dont want to get so many that I share my file - last lady did all the easy ones...... she loved it. Me - not so much.

Marsel - hang in there. I got an ulcer in college and grilled cheese sandwiches were my lunches for awhile as my internship was next to a grill..... not the best but of my choices it was the least greasy - I had not learned to make and freeze as much as I do now.

Another one of my short notes - oops. Lana - check in when you can. Just because its motto is "Whatever happens in Vegas stays in Vegas", doesnt mean you cant stop by and peep. Oh the tales I have heard...... Gossip usually takes care of everything - so that motto is just marketing.

Wave to all who follow. Lurking big time at work.

Thank you everyone for the warm welcome. To everyone with snow you can keep it, lol. I am in PA and we get snow but haven't had much to talk about, just very cold and windy. I hate this time of year, looking forward to warmer weather.

Happy Tuesday! I took a sick day today. Feeling under the weather and didn't want to share with my teams. Think I will find a book, curl up someplace warm, and vegetate for the day.
MFP is working it's magic again. It is a never ending source of amazement to me that the simple act of logging my intake is all that it takes to start the scales moving in the right direction. Accountability is all.

    Happy Tuesday!!

Busy weekend and busy week here. Lost 1.5 lbs last week, but workouts won’t be done as much this week. Early Friday morning I leave for Orlando. That begins the bachelorette cruise and wedding festivities for my friend getting married in St Petersburg. Been packing, preparing, and fulfilling bridesmaid duties. I’m sure it’ll be fun, but I’ll be glad when the duty, and expenses, are done!

Chicken and green beans for lunch today. Off to get some work done. I’ll check in later!

    Hi All,
    checking in.
Yesterday was a weight watching mess.
    Today is a fresh day.
It is raining here. Figures. I come out to Las Vegas for the first time ever, and the weather stinks. I did not pick up my rental car last night. Just too tired and not up for driving in the rain in a strange city and getting lost after midnight.

DH is picking me up after work for dinner out somewhere. I can't wait to see him. It's been over two years. Yes, I am insane.

I have a headache. Time for Advil and a nap.

1- you made it!! Points for you. The casinos are huge and you can get your steps in....

2- hey at least look forward to going out to dinner. The rest is up to you and DH. If you are insane, get in line behind me....

    At work. bbl

Latest weather forecast for this coming weekend - 12 inches of snow plus 1/4" of ice on Saturday, then 2 more inches of snow on Sunday. (all that snow will be on top of the 10 inches we already have here)
I am ready to cancel my weekend plans and hibernate!

Now that I’m back to my usual part time schedule, I went to the gym with a friend that works the night shift at the university. Did the row machine and lateral ski along with some yoga.

As ordered.......I am right behind you Sara~~
I am in a non-gaming hotel; tomorrow I can use the fitness room. I may walk around town a bit too. My plan is to get my rental car in the late morning and drive outside of the city to where the Seven Magic Mountains sculptures are. I would like to see them.

    WEDNESDAY

    Good morning,

Day off so checked the weather report will not entirely bypass the rain. Winds last night had me wondering how strong the old trees are outside.....

Still considering having Chinese for lunch - but then remembered all the onion and bell pepper. Hmmm.

Back to sleep with Miss T

    Happy Wednesday! Good morning!
Got up for a very chilly walk this am. 17 degrees it said. But I was stubborn and continued on. The dog didn't seem to care.
Lana - my hubby and I went to Vegas, not really our thing. Amazing to see, but we are not gamblers and party people. We went to Red Rock Canyon - lots of walking areas. Very cool to see also. It was cold and misty when we were in Vegas too. I also suggest if you want to sit and people watch - do it on Fremont street.
Got a fitbit zip through work. so now I need some friends. lol.

Vegas is a great place for family vacation - no gambling or partying needed! First took my kids to Vegas for a week when youngest was 4. Super cheap rooms at Excalibur. Went to all the free shows on the strip - like the pirate ship at Treasure Island, dancing fountains at Bellagio, animatronics at Ceasars, etc. Did one buffet per day and ice cream in the evening. Naps & the pool in the afternoon. Walked everywhere. The only attractions we paid for were a couple "ride-the-movies" rides. The kids had an absolute blast! They were asking how soon we could come back before we had even left! Entire vacation was crazy cheap. No gambling, no partying (unless you count ice cream at midnight as a party!)
Oh, I take the 'no gambling' part back - I found a nickel on the floor and put it in a nickel slot machine so the kids could watch (they were not allowed off the main aisle) and I won 15 cents! So I walked away a winner! ;)

I went to wedding in Vegas and stayed at Excalibur. We barely gambled. Lots of walking. I enjoyed it. But, too many people for my liking. Its a good place to go once.

Does anyone with a fit bit have a cheat to log Nordic Track or other ski/lateral movement machines?

Gettingmeback - this is an open thread so you are very welcome. WW went Instagram and no more boards..... many of us loved /still love WW but the $$ is not in our budgets. Dog pictures are welcome as we have a number of dog parents.

Hair done lunch and nap waiting for toenail apt. I tell people I cant reach my toes without hurting myself and that isnt far from the truth.

10 bags of stuff thrown away, still looking for things to fill bag.
