JUST GIVE ME 10 DAYS ~ ROUND 65

This is round 2 for me! I love doing this.
SW: 294
CW: 282.6
GW: 150ish I think I felt best at this weight.
01/13 282.6 and down a total of 11.4 pounds since Jan 1, have only eaten bad once in that time and I’m finding it easier everyday to follow my lifestyle plan. I’ve started to incorporate exercise as well so I’m hoping to really see some pounds fall off this week.
01/14 282.2 was so sick today. Ugh. I will swear to it that my humidifier made me ill but who knows. So, no exercise today and TONS of schoolwork. This semester is going to be hard especially since I’m going back to working full time. I just have to stay focused on that and losing weight. I know I can do this.
01/15 282.0 What a slow week. Still feeling pretty grungey but so much better than I did yesterday. Going to attempt a workout today. My husband got those Bluetooth boflex weights and they have a ton of exercises to do on their app. Been a long time since I’ve lifted so I certainly want to take it slow. Hope everyone else has a good day, I’ve noticed the thread has really quieted since the last one.
01/16 281.0 Feeling even better today. Did an arm workout yesterday called “Armageddon” and boy am I feeling it today. My arms are jello! Luckily all I have to do is some school work. Feeling really good about myself right now. Just, good. You know? Like I’ve finally got ahold of my life again and I know I can do this. I’m so disappointed I let myself get so out of control again but I got this.
**Just after I thought today was getting better my period comes out of no where and 9 days early which puts me at a 20 day cycle. So frustrating.
01/17 280.6 despite being super bloated. Still loosing. Attempted piyo this morning. Did about 15 min of core and the baby started crying so that was it for me. Still felt good to do it. Going to do a bit of yoga when I get home and a treadmill walk. Yesterday I was a bit incapacitated so no exercise and I did eat bad and didn’t log anything so I’m happy with my half pound loss. Also have lots of school work to do so...ugh. That too.
01/18 ?
01/19 281 not a bad eating day the last few days but drank a whole bunch of wine and vodka with my girlfriend Thursday night so I’m not surprised to see the jump up however slight. I’m hoping that in the next 3 days I can see the 270s though. I’m down 13 pounds total this month so far and I’m excited to see that but wish it happened faster. I know it’s a lot but it’s not surprising for my weight. Just ready to start feeling more comfortable in my skin again. Did yoga this morning before work and have been trying to work on a sociology paper all day literally to no avail. Ready to get home so I can concentrate in peace.

Newbie Alert!!
First time here at this challenge!!
Thanks for having me!
SW 190
Day/Weight/Comment
01/13 190 - I’m getting back into the swings of things again by cutting out sugar & processed junk.
01/14 188 - I’m starting the day out right with some black coffee & I'm looking forward to the gym this afternoon.
01/15 185 - This week & this challenge are starting out well. I’m very pleased! No gym yesterday as I feel run down, like I’m fighting a cold. I’ve decided to pay close attention to my eating & listen to my body.
01/16 185 - No change today but I am at least feeling a little better. I think the Zicam & rest are helping. I need to drink more water as I am relying on coffee & tea a bit too much during these last few cold days.
01/17 187 - Not sure what I did “wrong” other than more water yesterday but maybe a bit too much sodium .. time to tighten up a bit more & trust the process.
01/18 188 - Things are going the wrong direction because of some water retention but it’s not too late to turn them around!! Slow & Steady!
01/19 188 - Holding Steady ... not feeling my best but I won’t give up!

First time:- Round 65
Mini mini goal - drop below 170.
Interim goal :- 164 - that puts me in 'just fat' instead of 'obese' on the BMI scale
Final goal:- 135 I was most comfortable here. For my height, that's still at the top of the range, but I felt I could comfortably maintain that without eating like a rabbit!
Day/Weight/Comment
01/13 Walked 70 mins treadmill - fatloss programme
01/14 170.6 My weekly weigh in day. Walked as above.
01/15 Had pasta for dinner . Walked as above.
01/16 171 For the first time in a very long time, I logged in just over my base of 1200 cals. And I'm surprised I don't feel any worse for it - not starving or deprived of anything. Walked as above.
01/17 170 Over my base calories but still within if I add exercise. Usual 70 mins (10 000 steps) on t/mill.
01/18 Did not weigh this morning And also my rest day. But tracked everything and was well within my range. Friday is my toughest day at work, so still got over 10 000 in.
01/19 168.8 Quite surprised but a boost. Walked 90mins on the trails today, wet and muddy after all the rain Southern Cal has had, but a beautiful cool and crisp, misty morning. Eating wasn't good tho, back in the saddle tomorrow.

01/13 143.8 a slight bump up, yesterday was hard. A big family breakfast and dinner and although I started out great, by the end of the day I gave in after dinner to snacks. Sheeeeesh! This is getting more and , more difficult as I go on. Work so hard to loose a little, takes nothing to gain a little. I am going to have to pre-plan for next week. I will schedule Saturdays as my rest day workout wise (there is no way to get around it) but my eating needs to be on point. I'm ok with a cheat meal here and there but it can't be on a day I don't work out
I
01/14 145.8 WHAT THE FUNK!!! I know this weekend was rough for me, I know I didn't workout yesterday, got minimal steps in and my eating wasn't the greatest but this is so dissapointing all the same. I want to say I deserve this but I also don't. I looked at my exercise log and noticed that I worked out for the last 8 days straight and managed to only maintain, yet I have two bad nights (not two whole days, just around dinner time) and my weight bumps up this much. I am getting so aggravated now. This was my number after 10 days of Christmas holidays...so like I said WHAT THE FUNK!! I am so grumpy today 😫😧
01/15 no weigh in. Woke up late jogged and some weight lifting yesterday but not much else
01/16 143.8 and back to my number at the beginning of the round. The past couple of days I have been grumpy and slightly depressed (besides this group I have been telling others I wasn't feeling well, it's so much easier then explaining depression). It demotivated me and although I did get a jog and some weight training in on Monday and yesterday had 90 min of volleyball, today I am determined to do my usual routine and get my butt back into it. I am finally sick of this number and am ready to change it. Yesterday I only got 4000+ steps (like I said wasn't feeling the greatest) but I did eat under calories and 2 liters of water. If I have trouble loosing by the end I am going to try the egg fast @deepwoodslady has been talking about.
01/17 144.4 did nothing to deserve this uptick, this is getting frustrating. +30,000 steps, worked out, ate under Calories and 1.8 liters of water. I am half determined and half annoyed. Why is this getting so darn difficult. Work out like crazy but only manage a maintain or smal gain😧😧 trying to keep my head on straight. I am usually an upbeat, motivated person but I do crash at times and when I fall, I fall. I am trying to keep going and not consintrate on the number too much. Wanted to be bellow 140s by the time my birthday hit but that came and went and I was fine.., then wanted to be bellow the 140s by my 9 year anniversary (Jan 23rd) but I am starting to think that won't happen and it is really concerning me. Sorry for whining. Just aggravated
01/18 143.6 and back down. I don't know if it's the time of the year because I had this same trouble last year around this time and maybe my body is just holding onto some fat in order to be betrer insilated for the winter. Today I realized this whole time I wasn't upset about not being able to loose, i was upset about trying so hard and to not see the scale budge at all, makes me wonder what would have happened if I wasn't trying. I guess I can finally answer the question about all the steady gains in my life and how I could have possibly let it get away from me. After these ten days it will be officially a month of no change. Thank gosh I feel better, over all when I workout or else I don't know if I would have continued sticking too it. I can feel the frustration, nipping at my willpower. My thoughts are, if I am going to gain anyway I might as well stop watching everything, weighing everything, using alternative methods for food....but I know I have to stop these thoughts dead, trying to remind myself it's about being healthy, weight loss is just the bonus. Once again sorry for the rant, i have been grumpy all week.
01/19142.0 Wow! That's all I have to say. My scale said 141.6 but after jumping on a couple more times, this came up. I am so confused, yesterday I ate so much food, I was so hungry it wasn't even funny. However I did work out good and got in a little over 17000 steps and drank 1.5 liters of water. I also took my measurements this morning and have lost 1/2 an inch almost everywhere so I am actually relieved and happy today with the results. I just hope they stick around or I can continue this steady drop over the next couple of days *fingers crossed*

So I was thinking, if I find myself holding steady at a plateau for the rest of the round I was going to try to do something to encourage my weight to drop. I don't want a quick fix or something drastic (I work out a lot and play volleyball so 16:8 isn't realistic or ideal for me) but I was wondering if people had any advice/experiences with safe, healthy and short term fasts just to give my weight loss a small boost before getting back into my regular routine. I want to hear your opinion!!
Thanks ❤💙❤💙❤
Note: I have taken tiabirdie56 drinks and deepwoodslady egg fast into consideration. I definitley want to try/attempt both, I am just asking out of curiosity and to have other options for the just in case6 -
SW 370.8 – Round 65 (1/13/19)
GW 362 – Jan 31st
GW 299 – End of 2019 (6.2)
Day/Weight/Comment
01/13 – 370.8 – 2nd day in a row up. Unfortunately this weekend I have had eating out functions everyday. I have another one today and Pizza Tuesday. My plan for Tuesday is one piece of pizza, no appetizers and I will order a big salad if a salad is not ordered. I eat out a lot on weekends, so sodium is high. I will drink plenty of water next two days and I hope to be down again by Wed.
01/14 – 371 – I lost 2.8 pounds at WW today! Yay! Got in my 7000 steps yesterday. Was not a blue dot day. This week I am going to do better with the blue dot days M-F for sure starting today.
01/15 371.2 – I did 7000 steps, got in 6 hours sleep, not a blue dot day. And so far I don’t think today will be a blue dot day. So in 2 days gained about a half a pound. Got to put the breaks on…..
01/16 372
01/17 371.6 - finally going in the right direction. Hope to keep it going. This 10 days is going fast. So I have 5 more days to lose something. I can do it! lol
01/18 no weigh in – woke up too late and running late
01/19 375.8 - too much sodium, Chinese food yesterday and leftovers today

I’m in! For the first time.
Height 5’7.5
SW 245.2
Day/Weight/Comment
01/13 245.8 - not sure what happened here as I ate within my calories. I’m sure it must be water weight or something but onwards and upwards (or downwards!) Going to start my couch to 5k today so will see what happens.
01/14 245 - went for my first run well jog /walk and I was exhausted. I feel so much better now I’m exercising. Food wise I was on track and really trying to whole foods only with no added things.
01/15 243.6 - nutrition was on point yesterday. I’ve really noticed how sweet natural food is tasting. I did roast veg yesterday and the onions were like candy! Who would have thought it. Love them. Of for my second run/jog later and actually looking forward to it!
01/16 242.8 - that's 13.6 lbs in 2 weeks! I am super happy and can't wait to see what happens next. I also did my second day of couch to 5 k and managed to run/walk my way around 3k. Eating was on track and my jeans are even starting to feel loose.
01/17 241.2 - wow how did that happen! Smashed through the first stone. Have loads more energy and also got super motivated by all the before and after pictures. Everyone is so motivating and positive on here.
01/18 241.2 to be honest I’m happy it just hasn’t moved usually after a big loss I go up. Not this time! I did my 3rd day of couch to 5k and beat my time the day before (they are exactly the same). I never realised i could like exercise and thought running was a big no but I LOVE the sense of freedom. Food was a bit all over the place yesterday but still stayed within my calories so happy overall. Good luck weighing in everyone!
01/19 240.2 ate really well, got slightly less steps in than usual but still well over 10,000. Really want to get into the 230’s for this round. Saturday is usually harder to get my steps in so doing w2d1 of couch to 5k today and then going to try and encourage my husband to go out and be more active.
01/20 240.2 food was good and got over 10K steps in but less than usual. Does anyone else find the days after they exercise they weigh more/the same and the days after nothing they loose??? Also changed my name from “fighting the fat” as I felt it was too negative. I’m not fighting anyone just trying to be more body positive and healthier. My offer half calls me Waffle hence the name.

PS love this challenge. It’s really helping me focus!

2nd round here we go
OSW 6th Jan 2019 88kg
RSW 85.1kg {- 2.9kg or 6.4lbs}
RGW 83.5kg
01/13 85kg I made my 3kg in my 1st week which makes me so happy. Now not to give up when it slows down! I'll keep on logging everything and keep to my Keto macros.
01/14 85kg still in the green for calories and macros. Did my morning run after sedentary Sunday.
01/15 84.9kg scale give me 2 different scores so I took the highest. Still going strong with everything. Tried the push ups but could hardly do level 1 even on my knees! Will keep at it. All Christmas weight gone... Now to lose the last long vacation weight!
01/16 84.5kg still all green. A short fast (for me!) run this morning and I did my evening workout last night. I really loathe burpees.
01/17 84.1kg this makes me very happy! Stayed in the green. Dry January going well and did the strength training... Working up to the push ups!
01/18 84.1kg short morning run done and exercise last night. Stayed in the green. Feeling positive!
01/19 84kg it's coming off slowly. Official weigh in tomorrow. Still keeping it green, loving everything and exercising on the evening... Still not liking burpees!
01/20 83.8kg. 1.2 kg down for the official weigh in. Squeezed the exercise in despite my football (soccer) watching commitments. Running tomorrow.

01/13 - 131.9 (Yesterday was cheat day. The eating was not pretty. I'd felt pretty deprived on strict keto for 10 days. worked out and maintained good water levels. But back in the game today.)
01/14 - 131.6 (Good day of eating)
01/15 - 131.6 (Worked out hard, kept my carbs under 20g and calories under 1400. Drank 3l or water.)
01/16 - 130.6 (Worked out hard, kept my carbs under 20g. In the middle of monthly bloat)
01/17 - 130.8 (Not a number I like, but staying consistent)
01/18 - 130.4 (lowest weight of the year - 19 days As long as at can hit that milestone each month, am going to try to not let actual scale numbers drive me crazy)
01/19 - 129.4 (My weekly cheat meal today. Hopefully it doesn't turn into cheat *day*, which it has been known to do. This is actually my goal weight for the round. I want to be under 130, so I am back to the weight I was exactly a year ago)
01/20 - 129.8 (Had my cheat meal yesterday. First time the result from that has been under at least two extra kilos. I did 2 x 15 min cardio workouts and 30min of weights.)

@Thewaffle86 love the name change and the positive philosophy behind it. Great losses this round too and you're keeping on with the C25K! Congratulations on all of this! One of my apps always starts with the saying "It doesn't get easier you just get better at it" which I'm adopting as my 2019 motto.12

Boy my day did not go to plan yesterday. So I blame TOM and stress eating on the 1000cals I ate in snacks.
Today is a friend's birthday and a last min plan to go on a game drive. That will be great, but means estimated food, probably alcohol and not my planned day of gym, work and relaxing, hence more stress.
But i'll enjoy it and get back to the plan on Monday.
01/14 72.1 (+0.9) run
01/15 71.6 (-0.5) yoga
01/16 71.7 (+0.1) yoga
01/17 71.8 (+0.1) nothing
01/18 71.6 (- 0.2) yoga, no run
I'm back, I had to take a minute away from this. My week was very stressful at work and I just couldn't stop myself eating far too many calories each day until I stopped counting on Wed. It was stressing me even more. I now realise I don't just stress-eat, I also stress-shop. Which meant I had things at home that I didn't want to be eating but of course I did. My will power had gone out the window.
But it's time to get a grip, I only have two weeks left in this job and then a much needed holiday. Only 9 days until DH arrives, I really wanted to be below my weight from when I left the UK, but that may be a stretch now. I'll catch up on posts over the weekend - 470 posts - and try to get back into a more controlled eating pattern...
01/19 71.2 (-0.4) yoga&walked (treadmill&outside)
Now after my resolve to be back, I gave up on counting last night because my day took a positive turn: I got offered a job I really, really want I only interviewed on Wed, so was not expecting a response so fast. It would mean a lot of life changes, so not a quick decision. I went out to celebrate and skipped the treadmill. I'm paying for it with a headache today and am walking on the treadmill as I write this. The loss has nothing to do with good choices, but probably the iffy tummy from the emotional rollercoaster this week (and drinks last night).
Anyway, I finally ordered a fitbit yesterday, decided on the Charge 3 after watching reviews on Youtube. I had never done that before, it was so helpful, especially the things people didn't like about the ones I was considering. I'll get it when DH arrives - 8 more sleep
01/20 70.8kg (-0.4) yoga&run planned
Okay, that's a nice surprise and very motivating.
I walked 6.5km on the treadmill yesterday and my phone step tracker says over 10k steps, but I think some of that on the treadmill. I don't have a car this weekend, so walked to the gym and shops. Went over cals quite a bit, but still acceptable given that it I was a little hung over. Today, I already did my yoga, and will run on the treadmill after I've done some work. Still no car, so walking to gym and shops.
Thank you for all the hugs on Friday (only sat that now), I appreciate this group so much, it certainly keeps me coming back when I get distracted and lose my healthy ways.
@kmfeig87 thank you!
I read (listened to) this article yesterday and thought I'd share. It's also available as a podcast. Very interesting points on sedentary time and technology https://www.theguardian.com/news/2019/jan/03/why-exercise-alone-wont-save-us

They had a draw for ten x 10hr Boditrax courses at a 90% reduction (£30 instead of £300), and I won one of them. We get 10 weeks temporary membership at the centre, a Boditrax health/fitness analysis at the beginning, 10 x 1hr sessions with a personal coach, and another analysis at the end to see how we have done. It's just what I need to make the final, push to my Ideal goal weight.
12/01: 166.5: Goals One more lb of Xmas excess to discard. Out most of today with my DYD. It will keep me away from temptation.
Round 65 ~|~ End Goal: < 165
13/12: 166.4: Goals ✅ Stayed on track. NSV: Visited with DED and she had had baclava. I had two pieces, but declined any of the other goodies. Was under basic calories for the day! I normally eat back a lot of my exercise calories when we visit with them, as she and DYGS bake for our visit each week.
14/12: 166.4: Goals 😃 Delighted to have maintained over the weekend. ✅ Got my workout in early, and walked over 11,000 steps. Also had a decent deficit, food wise.
15/12: 166.2: Goals ✅ No time to do HIIT today. Had a few chocolates when at my crochet group, but still under goal.
16/12: 166.1: Goals ✅ Grocery shopping today, so lots of fresh fruit/veg for the days ahead.
17/12: 165.9: Goals Meh!!! I did really well right up until it was almost bedtime, then started snacking my way through my deficit. Stopped short of going over, which I wouldn't have done in the past, but Pringles and crackers were not my finest choices. I'm, frankly, amazed that I haven't retained more water with all that sodium. Still, just one bad day since New Year is an NSV, and a definite improvement on my track record. At least I have 5 days left to reach my round EW.
18/12: 166.0: Goals ✅ Had a busy day with Latin Study and Photography groups. Did 40 mins strength after dinner, and then caught up with my steps with indoor walking a la Leslie Sansone. 🤞🏻Just the weekend to get through. 🤞🏻
19/12: 165.7: Goals ✅ Worked about the house. Did 25 strength and some interval training. Had a 40g of popcorn while watching Harry Potter. Had a glass of wine with dinner.
20/12: 165.8: Goals Have already done 15 strength.

THERE ARE NO QUICK FIXES OR SHORTCUTS to achieving permanent change.
REMINDERS One or two thoughts which might give heart to some of you.- Daily weight fluctuations are normal, and can be as much as 2 lbs a day for no apparent reason.
- A general downward trend is what we are looking for.
- Eating out can cause apparent weight gain because of high sodium levels, but usually goes quickly. Drinking extra water helps with this.
- The human body does not react instantly to what we do to it. Sometimes it can take several days to see results.
- Plateaus are a normal part of the process. The body is consolidating and adapting to your new way of eating/exercising.
- The closer you get to your goal weight, the more difficult it becomes to lose weight, as your body becomes more efficient at using what you feed it.
- When you exercise you build muscle, which takes up less space than fat, so use measurements as well as weight to assess your progress.
- Getting/Staying fit and healthy requires a lifestyle change for most people.

Day/Weight/Comment
01/13- 220.6- Been doing well with moderating my alcohol intake for the last week and monitoring food. Also I have been making an effort to stay fairly active. Today I am aiming to not snack and to get a long walk in later with the dog. Good luck everybody X
01/14- 220.0- A good day yesterday, been out walking for 2 hours this morning though because I was pushing a buggy the Fitbit didn't log all the steps. It's a low calorie day today, feeling very in control at the moment X
01/15- 221.0- yesterday was very successful, 15,000steps and stuck to my calorie goals, hopefully the scales will show the drop tomorrow. Today I am aiming to stay under 1500cals, not many steps but il make up for it tomorrow x
01/16- 219.4- Yesterday I ended on about 1900cals which is 400cal more than what I was aiming for, I stayed up too late and then snacked when I really should have gone to bed. Today is a low calorie day, plenty of walking, just done a food shop so I'm set up for success for the next week X
01/17- 219.0- Going in the right direction, I smashed through yesterday's goals and when I got tired I actually went to bed instead of grabbing the nearest sugary snack. Today I would like to stay under 1500cals and get some housework done. It's chilly outside but I will be focusing again on steps tomorrow X
01/18- 218.2- I stayed under my calorie goal yesterday, I feel like I made good use of those calories aswel. Today is a fast day, I will be getting my steps in nice and early X
01/19- 217.6- Well yesterday's fast turned into 1800cals (and not on the right kind of food)...but I am retrying today, I know they say to write off failed fasts and just carry on with your next planned one but I feel like fasting fits in well with my plans today so I'm happy to do it today instead. Another little drop on the scales this morning, all adding up X
01/20- 217.0lb- yesterday's calories were just slightly over goal which I was happy with but on the step front I did terribly! Today we have a very rare child free day, using it to sort out the kitchen cupboards and touch up the walls downstairs, fun fun fun, have a good day all X

@Winner_in_Life - One thing I have learnt from weighing everyday is sometimes there are massive fluctuations from one day to the next. You're doing great...you are lower than 10 days ago. Stick to your plan and see what happens over the next few days.8

Day/Weight/Comment
01/13 – 199.3 – same weight as yesterday. I logged all food, walked 3 miles, but also ate the extra calories, drank all my water, and no alcohol.
01/14 – 198.7 – YEA! Didn’t walk yesterday but stay below my calories. No alcohol for the whole weekend.
01/15 – 198.6 - Had Mexican and a beer last night, but wasn’t too far over the my goal. Still recorded all food, walked, and drank my water.
01/16 – 198.6 – Yesterday was good – logged food, walked, drank water, and no alcohol. Now the tough part. I’m traveling for the next few days. No scale and need to stay strong.
01/17 – so scale today (not at home), but I did record all my food and didn’t have any alcohol. Walking wasn’t a lot, but a some and I should have drunk more water.
01/18 – still no scale, but I did record all my food. Minimal walking and one glass of wine.
01/19 – still no scale (tomorrow I’ll know), but I did record all my food. Minimal walking again and two glasses of wine.
01/20 – 196.9 – lost 1.7 pounds! YEA! I even went over a little yesterday on calories, but did record everything. Had a glass of wine, but walked 3 miles.

Round 62 11st 11.6lb (-0.5lb
Round 63 11st 11.8lb (+0.2lb)
Round 64 11st 8.0lb (-3.8lb)
Day/Weight/Comment
01/13 11st 8.0lb No change today, but slightly earlier weigh in. Looking for similar loss this round if possible.
01/14 11st 8.2lb Later weigh in, not that it's done me any favours. Had less than allowed MFP calories yesterday. I was going to go for a walk today but the weather looks miserable outside. I really need to reset my bedtime and getting up time so that I start having normal days again.
01/15 11st 8.2lb No change to weight. I went to bed 3 hours earlier than yesterday, but it didn't help that much as I couldn't sleep for ages even though I'd fallen asleep on the sofa for an hour before I went to bed. Was restless much of the night. Despite coming in at less calories again and actually getting out yesterday for the walk I still haven't had a loss. Disappointed.
01/16 11st 8.2lb Still no change. I ate slightly under calories again - my trend weight is not looking good at all.
01/17 11st 7.6lb Finally a 0.5lb loss which takes me just 0.2lb lower than I was 10 days ago. Oh well, no one said this was going to be easy! I'd like to be at least 1.5lb lower this round.
01/18 11st 7.4lb Earlier weigh in than usual so I'm happy with a 0.2lb loss. Hoping to keep to this earlier weigh in as I'd only be fooling myself if I waited another couple of hours, and besides, I want my breakfast!
01/19 11st 7.4lb. No change, but that's ok. Was expecting a bit of a loss as I got out and walked yesterday but so long as I don't gain I'm happy.
01/20 11st 7.0lb Late weigh in but I'll accept this as correct..tomorrow might disagree!

@Thewaffle86 love the name change and the positive philosophy behind it. Great losses this round too and you're keeping on with the C25K! Congratulations on all of this! One of my apps always starts with the saying "It doesn't get easier you just get better at it" which I'm adopting as my 2019 motto.
Thanks! I am actually starting to really like it - who would have thought! Sounds like a great motto

@jemtred [quote=" One of my apps always starts with the saying "It doesn't get easier you just get better at it" which I'm adopting as my 2019 motto. [/quote] I love this ! Mine this year is "Don't be the same be better" I think it's not just a motto for the year but hour by hour , day by day take a step at a time.
Re cheat days. I read a LONG time ago an interesting (And horrific) Publication about experiments on concentration camps victims, Where they starved them and at one point the victims stopped losing so much weight, so they introduced one high calorie meal a week and that kick started more weight loss (not to imagine the mental anguish that came with that) They replicated the experiment here in ww2 https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-25782294 (NOT saying we are starving at all but why for some cheat days work) ..Hope this hasn't caused any offence x

01/20 151.8 ..Yay! Hope that this keeps up. Last night had a betime snack of rice crackers nut butter and a few dried dates and figs . Today I have had coffee and some dark choc (heaven as have had no naughties and green tea all week) Roast dinner day so hopefully no gain tomorrow, as it is proper weigh in day. Yoga done this morning I can get into a full crab on tip toe but not with raised off my head yet (I'm sure that will be easier when I lose more weight..less to lift up!. I want to start running again but it's so slippery with ice here I don't fancy another ankle injury (one dislocates as it is)
